Rated 5 out of 5 by designandstyle A unique and versatile piece
It was love at first site when I saw this piece at my local anthro! I purchased it right off the floor.... saved $$ on shipping, and it was already assembled.
I plan to use it in my "girl cave" to showcase my projects and collectibles. But, I could easily see using this as a bar in the den to house liquor and vintage barware. In a casual dining room to display dishes, glassware and linens. Or, even in my daughter's bedroom to hold her clothes (in baskets), pictures, jewelry, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cinnamonheart Beautiful, but imperfect
Bought the shelf out of the store, since I am in Canada and Anthropologie doesn't ship furniture up here and I have been coveting this thing for ages.
Two of the feet don't sit flush to the floor and one of the shelve's boards warps up a bit. For $1600 dollars (Canadian price + tax)!
Still, I don't have much regret as I normally would, as I would not have been able to buy this shelf otherwise and it looks magnificent in my studio apartment. I just tell myself the imperfections add to its looks.
It is bigger than it appears and the moving guy (Anthropologie up here does not make deliveries) had to disassemble it before being able to get it up to my place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BittersweetPony Beautiful design, poor construction
This shouldn't be advertised as a bookcase, and shouldn't be used for books. The shelves will bow and not stay straight. If this was on substantial mark down, I could see getting it for lightweight plants, a bar or to display lightweight collectibles. The key here is lightweight. Anything heavy is going to warp the shelves. It's a shame, it is very beautiful. Definitely not worth $1200, and I would honestly hesitate for half that.
