Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth it! I've had my eye on this for a few months but was hesitant because: A. It seemed a expensive B. I read the reviews about it arriving with broken hooks so they probably weren't going to last a long time. I went to the local store to take a look at them up close and they are very nice. The wood varies with every rack. Overall, very nice weathered look. The construction is very simple and I was tempted to build it myself but after pricing the hooks individually through a local hardware store, it just wouldn't be worth the trouble. I finally took the plunge and bought it in the store and I LOVE it in my home. Exactly what I needed. If a hook breaks, its an easy fix. Also, some people complained about it not having any hardware. There are two slots/holes in the back for you to hang it on two screws. You don't need much... 2 screws, a screwdriver and possibly 2 anchors if you're hanging it on drywall. Really simple. Rated 5 out of 5 by Gorgeous and unique Received this item yesterday and I'm absolutely in love! It's really very unique and the quality is great. My only qualm, and I mention this as a word of warning, is that it comes with no hanging hardware or directions. I'm not the handiest person around, so when it comes to hanging heavy things like a coat rack, I'd like to have some guidelines from the manufacturer to go by. December 29, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great rustic hooks I love this rack of hooks so much that I kept it even when one of the hooks broke off immediately. The style of this piece is exactly what I have been searching for, so when I was able to see it at a local store--which I recommend because each rack is unique--I went ahead and bought it after reading some reviews about hooks breaking. Thankfully my local store offered a full refund, exchange or damaged discount. I opted for the damaged discount thinking I could replace the broken hook. Right now it is covered up by my hat. Aside from the fragile hooks, this rack is sturdy and heavy. I recommend using wall anchors because the holes provided on the rack are not the traditional measurements to mount on studs (I think the holes are about 29" apart). Today I had two guests hang coats on the hooks and it did fine. Fingers crossed that no more hooks break! February 16, 2013
