The first few weeks owning this table, I was in love with it. I live in an industrial loft and this was just the right size and style. Like other reviewers, I did notice a decent amount of staining that felt less like patina and more like staining. The raw wood is also incredibly hard to dust as it just soaks everything up. My solution? I gave it a light sanding and finished it with clear minwax rub-on poly in the satin finish. It took an hour and cost me around $15 and now water beads up, all the stains are gone, future stains prevented and the slightly darker color is even more beautiful than the raw color. Now, I have a renewed love for it. I have a pull out couch and ordered this table because of the casters so I could easily roll it away. Not so much....They scratched my wood floors and they bunch up my area rug if I try to roll it so I still have to pick it up to move it. Not the end of the world, but if you were hoping wheels = mobility, I wanted to give you the heads up that this is not so accurate. Overall, I love the table and would buy it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tonimfh disappointed in decker coffee table
i purchased 3 of these for my office and i couldn't be more unhappy with them.
anything that falls on the tabletop stains it, so i have 3 horribly stained coffee tables.

While I LOVE the aesthetics of the table, it is definitely not kid-friendly. I have a 2 year old and the first day, she put her dirty hands on the table. Now I have little grease hand prints all over the table that just won't come off. Also don't forget to pa attention to the dimensions. It's a bit longer than I was expecting.
