Rated 4 out of 5 by Happ & Stahns Jasmine Riviera The one I purchased is not listed anywhere online for some reason...anyway, I tested Rosa Alba 1842 and Jasmine Riviera 1938, and ultimately chose Jasmine Riviera. It comes in a light coral box, in a tear catcher bottle with a coral flower on the top and gold printed on the glass. It is described as follows: "An exotic heart of jasmine, gardenia and tuberose is lifted with bright pink pepper, sparkling grapefruit and neroli to create the full bodied Jasmine Riviera floral fragrance. Creamy sandal and cedar woods combine with musks to leave a sensual skin impression." "The History of Jasmine Riviera: Happ & Stains Jasmine Riviera is a tribute to the singular species of jasmine found in the European Mediterranean region. Native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, Africa, and Australasia, Jasinum Grandiflorum, was later naturalized in the European Mediterranean basin where climatic and soil conditions favored the cultivation of the fragrant, delicate jasmine flower. Often described as the king of essences, only a few drops of Jasmine oil can give body and fullness to perfumes. Widely considered to be the most exotic--and expensive--of scents, the white flower has been central to the perfume industry for centuries. Hence the expression 'no perfume without jasmine.' As jasmine cultivation gained strategic importance in the 1930's, women looked to refined and elegant signature fragrances like Jasmine Riviera." Don't get me wrong, the Rosa Alba scent is lovely but ultimately I found Jasmine Riviera 1938 more unique. It was not available in store in a larger bottle like Rosa Alba, only in the tear catcher bottle. January 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful fragrance but will not spray I too am having a problem with the sprayer on this parfum. The notes of it are simply gorgeous, beautifully feminine floral without being cloying or saccharin. But it is of no use if the sprayer barely sputters it out. Returning to the store and awaiting to see if quality control improves. March 19, 2015

1933 Jasmine Riviera Style #:093502 Inspired by The Grand Tour - a trip across Europe enjoyed by young ladies in the 19th century as a finishing course to their educations - this ethereal floral scent evokes rose gardens, high teas and happy accidents. Housed in a gold foil-embellished tear catcher to enhance the air of Victorian-era romance.

Jasmine Riviera: enchanting jasmine, woven with flowery hints of gardenia and tuberose, and finished with bright notes of pink peppercorn, sparkling grapefruit and spicy neroli (FLORAL)

1842 Rosa Alba: created by Marypierre Julien of Givaudan, pink peppercorns and Darjeeling tea are splashed with a burst of grapefruit, a dash of wisteria and the scent of ancient Alba roses, then softened with amber wood and cashmere musk (FLORAL)
