Rated 2 out of 5 by So Beautiful. So Painful. First, the good: the shoes are so, so pretty. I absolutely fell in love with the design, and if I could, I would wear them every day. But here's the bad: holy god, they're painful. The insole is not the problem; as another reviewer noted, the insole is actually excellent. I wish ALL my flats came with an insole this good. But the sides of the shoe, the "rims," if you will, are so blasted hard and stiff it's like trying to wear a lunchbox on your feet. Those little side notches are particularly bad. I wore them around the house for less than five minutes, and the sides of my feet were bright red. I should note that I have somewhat bony feet, so if you've got a little more padding around the metatarsals, these might work great for you. I WISH they had worked for me, because I absolutely LOVE them, visually. Sigh. So sad. March 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by We're Off To See The Wizard (in a good way!) I tried these on today and loved them. I'm not usually a floral person but I loved the little hidden wedge so I thought I'd give these a chance. The colors are beautiful and they have the slightest hint of a metallic silver sheen to them (in the beige/off white part). I understand what another reviewer said about the material being a little hard around your foot but I think they will break in nicely. I may pop in a pair of those heel pad thingys around the back just for comfort. The toe box area is really comfy and there is a little cushion for the ball of your foot. Nice detail! Wish all my shoes came with that. I plan to pair these with the Level 99 Lily Crops and a yellow cardigan. These feel totally whimsical and fun...like walking through Oz. March 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful, but painful... These shoes are so cute and would be so very verstatile with most anything in your wardrobe, but as a previous reviewer commented, they are so stiff and the edges cut into my foot that I dared not chance keeping them. I did not have a problem with the toe area being narrow, just the sides cutting into my foot. Sad! March 31, 2013
