Rated 5 out of 5 by Adorable! This dress looks WAY better in person than it does online. I never give reviews online (but I read them all the time) so I felt compelled to tell the world about this dress! It seriously goes from day to night, or summer to winter like a dream! It is adorable belted (or not), with espadrilles and a statement necklace for now, and will be great with a long cardigan, tights and boots for the colder months. One thing, size DOWN! I am usually a M or L but I tried it on in the store and the S worked well for me since the fabric is on the thicker side. Perfect LBD! Thanks Anthro! May 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute dress I'm 5'5" 135lbs and 34D and the small is the size that was closest to working for me. This is a good basic dress that can easily be dressed up. Would be cute with a blazer or cardigan...endless ways to pair this really. The reason it didn't work for me is because I have a little bit of a booty, which made it bunch in the back a little. I could probably make it work if I belted it. It's not straight...nips in at the waist some. The back has an added little detail of three buttons down the back. The material is a thicker knit so could be worn any season. It hits probably 3-4 inches above my knees...not too short...a good length, in my opinion. A good dress, just one that needs to be tried on. April 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice and simple This is a nice year-round dress, great for work given modest neckline, but still fun since it's quite short. I'm 5'5 155lb size 10-12/M-L, got this in L, the fit on me is just like on the product photo except (thankfully!) it's not quite as short - hits about 3 inches above my knee. I was delighted to find that the outer layer is 85% cotton (15% poly), I'm a bit worried about the rayon lining shrinking in the wash, hopefully this won't happen. The fabric has a nice weight to it - heavy enough to be worn with tights but will be appropriate for summertime too. The sleeves are a bit poofy but not overwhelmingly so, and they fit nicely under a cardigan. The only (tiny) negative is that the plastic buttons on the back look quite cheap, it's just a little detail but details matter. Overall I'm very happy with this find and expect to get a lot of use of it. April 18, 2013

BLACK MOTIF Style #:27770965 The name "Maeve" references a purple flower, a Greek goddess and a famously beautiful Irish warrior queen. In the light of these inspirations, it's no surprise that the Maeve brand is both feminine and playful, a representation of beauty and strength at once. This simple yet versatile knit dress can be dolled up with texturized wedges and statement earrings or dressed down with strappy gladiator sandals and a denim jacket. Capsleeve Shift
