Most chambray shirts at Anthro have really tight sleeves for some reason and I have to go up a size (by then, the top is too large and becomes ill-fitted). This top fits me very well especially in the arms. The faded look is very unusual and the blouse is so soft. I saw quite a few sales associates and customers wearing this shirt in the store, and now I know why. Great shirt, especially for chambray fans like me.

First of all, I think the description of this shirt may be incorrect. The item number matches that of the shirt I bought last weekend, which is the lighter version of the Cloth & Stone "Amabel" shirt, also made by Cloth & Stone ... not sure why this description says that it's made by Bella Dahl, because mine is not. Both this and the "Amabel" shirt are extremely soft chambray, higher in the front than in the back, with silver buttons and cuffs that hit at about 3/4 length, but definitely look better rolled up than left as they are (they do not have buttons at the cuffs, but are slightly looser going down to the wrist from a seam slightly lower than the elbow).
When I went to Anthropologie, it was specifically to try on the Amabel shirt, with which I'd fallen in love online. They were sold out of that shirt, but had the lighter version (which again, I think is this shirt). I tried it on and fell in love, so came home with this shirt, which I LOVE and have already worn and gotten many compliments on. I got my normal size, and it fits well -- as another reviewer has said, there are NO issues with gaping at the buttons, which I often have, being well-endowed. I do not find the back of the shirt to be too long -- I wore it with 4" inseam shorts, and it didn't come close to covering them. That said, I'm very long-waisted. The front is probably too short for me to wear this shirt with leggings, but that doesn't bother me -- it hits at hip length, which isn't too short to wear with other pants without issues.
After having worn this shirt, I've come back to buy the Amabel, which I think is identical but slightly darker in color. My only disappointment initially was that the shirt didn't stay quite as soft after I washed it, but that was fixed when I used a dryer sheet when I washed it the second time.
Bottom line -- love this shirt enough that I came back and bought a second. You really can't go wrong. My quest for the perfect chambray shirt is -- FINALLY -- over!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by EvaValentine This blouse is actually by Cloth & Stone. It's super soft and is a very, very light shade of blue. It's longer in the back and has 3/4 sleeves (IMO look best rolled up). I believe it's meant to be slightly oversized, but that being said, I think it still runs a bit large. I purchase the small (there was no xs). If you are between sizes, I would suggest going with the smaller. I think this will be a versatile and easy piece to wear. I heart a good button up!
