Returns & Exchanges

All Anthropologie merchandise is unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please let us know and we will take care of you.

Returns for merchandise purchased over a year ago that are not accompanied by a packing list will be refunded at their current selling price.

Refund process
Your refund will be credited back to the original method of payment. If you paid with a gift card, a new gift card will be issued for the amount of the credit and mailed to your billing address. A credit will post to your account approximately two days after the date of processing. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement.

To return website or catalog merchandise:

We offer three methods.

1. SmartLabel -- We're pleased to offer a more convenient way to return merchandise with a pre-paid, pre-addressed SmartLabel included on the front of your packing list. No postage is required; the cost of return shipping is $5.95 and will be deducted from your refund or credit. Easy drop-off at any U.S. mail location.

To use your SmartLabel, follow the following four steps (a-d):
a. Complete and enclose the Return & Exchange Form with your return merchandise.
b. Securely package the return.
c. Affix the pre-paid, pre-addressed SmartLabel to your package. Cover or remove original shipping label.
d. Drop your package in the U.S. mail at home, at work, or at the Post Office.


2. Alternatively, use your own trackable and insured shipping method* and mail to:

*The cost of return shipping must be prepaid at the point of return.
Anthropologie is not responsible for customer returns that are not received.

3. Merchandise can also be returned at any Anthropologie store location with the original packing list. Please bring return items in original product packaging to help expedite the return or exchange process. See Store Locations for the store(s) nearest you. Furniture
All Anthropologie merchandise is unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason please let us know. All furniture items can be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery for a full refund. After 30 days Anthropologie will replace any manufacturers defect for up to one year

To return store merchandise:
Our stores carry many more items than we offer online, so we cannot accept these returns at our warehouse. Please return your items to the store where you purchased them, or to the store closest to your home. If this is not convenient, please mail your return, via certified mail, to the store closest to you. For the mailing address of your nearest store, see Store Locations.

Previously purchased items that are now on sale: We will gladly offer you a price adjustment if the original date of shipment for your order was within 14 days of the sale offering.
