I LOVE this maxi cardigan. I got it in the mint color in the XS standard size. I'm 5' 2.5" and I'm quite often in between petite and standard sizes at Anthro (sometimes I'm a tall petite and a short standard). I tried on the XSP and the SP petite. The petite sizes were significantly shorter in length and the sleeve length was perfect. I went with the XS standard bc I liked the maxi cardi being longer and the sleeve length was a little longer but it didn't bother me.
The only complaint I have is you need to be mindful of where and when you wear it. The material Isn't cheap but it is delicate so just...don't hug a cat while wearing this sweater or walk in the woods were things can snag the material.

I see another reviewer thinks the fabric looks/feels cheap, but I disagree entirely. To me, it's the age old issue that EVERYTHING from Anthro costs more than it really should... But, in my opinion, this particular piece is no different in quality than the general Anthro standard.
I have a petite, fairly athletic frame and the XSP fits me well. I wear this piece as pictured --with jeans and a white tank-- and it looks great! I feel stylish yet casual. Perfect for the office.
My only hesitation with it is that from the back it looks a little bit like a robe since it's so long. But I don't have a problem with it because I'm always buzzing around, and people will see the 360 view.

Casual Elegance, Sleeves Run a Bit Tight
I tried on both colors of this cardigan, in 2 different sizes, and I agree with a previous reviewer about the only basic difference between any 2 successive sizes being the tightness of the sleeves. So if you find the upper arms in your usual size to be too tight for your liking, try the size up if you can. I couldn't get the cardigan to form long "lapels" with the stripes showing outside, as in the first photo; they would revert back to that of Photo 4 where the model is walking through a meadow. But it doesn't take much movement for the stripes underneath to clearly show. I plan to wear the navy cardigan with tights, a white or colorful tee, a tapered knit skirt above the knees and taller boots this fall, but it looks great in the photos with a tee and jeans. My only concern is the delicate fabric. There were a couple very small snags in the sleeves of the one I purchased, but they weren't located in a blatantly visible area, so I'm going to be more careful when wearing, I'm not going to wear any rings with protruding prongs, or place a clutch under my arm that could snag it further. Overall, it exudes "casual elegance", which is what Anthropologie does so well, especially the way the lower portion softly waves as you walk.
This vest is absolutely amazing! It is cut as a long piece of soft knitted cotton (mixed with wool) and there are two slits that let your arms slip in so you can wear it as a vest. I fell in love with the red version since the colours were so vibrant. Not only can you wear it as a vest, you can also arrange it so that you can wear it short-sleeved, or even with the sleeves coming down to your elbows, just like a cape. You can also drape it as a shawl or wear it as a thick scarf. And since he possibilities are endless, why not even wear it as a poncho! This statement piece is truly an investment that will last till the end of fall and it's a perfect transition piece from summer to autumn. It has that cool boho style and completely transforms an outfit (I would wear mine with a simple t-shirt and fitted jeans). It fits true to size. I am usually between 0 and 2 and the XS/S fit me perfectly. It wasn't too long and I didn't find any issue with the hi-low length of the vest. Very highly recommended!

fun to look at & fun to wear
I bought the M/L in the red version and I usually take a size XL, L & 14 in tops/sweaters. This fits me like it does in the photos of the model. I took a chance on it during a sale and thought I'd send it back when I first opened up the package. Once I tried it on, I loved it. It's so cheerful looking and soft too. It's kind of crazy with all that it has going on but that's what I like about it. My husband is not a fan of this on me. He thinks it's strange with all the fringe & pom-poms so I see it's not for everyone's taste. My daughter (who is 10) loves it because of how colorful it is. In person, it's more a mix of copper/rust/bright rose pink/ivory. I'm definitely going to wear this when it's dreary outside this winter.

Fell in love with the colors of this before I realized what a great piece this was. It can be worn so many ways, my favorite is taking the bottom corner of one side and bringing it up to the opposite shoulder and taking a kilt safety pin to keep it in place. It lifts the mood of a simple pair of jeans and boots to the next level. Strongly recommend this one...grab it before it is gone...
I agree with the first reviewer. This poncho is supremely beautiful- gossamer-like and oh so cozy. The photo just cannot do it justice. It has an almost merino-like quality as it is incredibly soft, light, and breathable yet warm. It is fuzzier and less weighty than the photos might suggest.
I am very petite at just about 5'0" and ordered the XS/S. I naturally get a lot more coverage from this poncho than the models do; it hits me asymmetrically at the low hip but isn't at all bulky. The neck hole is not too large-- almost like a wide boatneck sweater--so the poncho stays in place comfortably. There's something demure and coy about it, especially when worn with something figure-hugging underneath. Who knew a poncho could be sexy?
Absolutely worth the full-price. This is a must-have transitional piece.

Perfect for slightly chilly days!
This poncho is great! It hits around the waist with parts hanging below the waistline. If you have broad shoulders, like I do, it hits slightly higher than on the model in the picture. Lovely pattern, nice and soft, and it does an unexpectedly good job of keeping you warm on brisk days.

I love this sweater! Soft and cozy, I've already worn it with black skinny pants and flared jeans. I'm 5'6 and the length is as shown in the photos. I like that the fringe is only on two of the four sides, sometimes the fringe can be overwhelming. Very happy with this purchase!
I love this tee. This is what I expect from Anthro. I also find that it is as shiny in real time as it is in the photo, but I have no problem with that. I find that it fits true to size probably around the hip or the waist, although I did size down based on the first reviewers comments.I normally have those issues with tees. I found the chest far more generous (slightly boxy) than most tees, which I liked. Perhaps a large would have been too big, but, I am curvy below the hips, so the medium does not flow as well. I will deal with that issue by tucking it in or simply folding it.
The tee is actually of a substantive material and is completely appropriate for work, a party, or for any sort of outing where you want to dress up without being over dressed (i.e., as shown in the photo). There is a long silver maxi skirt that is new, and might work with the tee for a boho-chic Christmas outfit.
This was a great buy (I got it $39.99) and will serve my wardrobe well.

This is not something I would normally be drawn to because I love color, but decided to try it when it went on sale because of the pattern and it is so well made. I have worn mine several times already with no pilling, something which seems rare these days. I also found this to be very forgiving in every way. I am typically a medium or a large, but took this home in a small. For reference, I am 5'3", 36C, 155 lbs. - curvy and fairly broad shoulders. The quality on this is excellent and although it would not have caught my eye at full price, it is a great buy at the sale price.

A nice surprise
I was shocked to see this on the sale rack at my local Anthro. This was a nice surprise. It's stretchy, easy to get over your head and surprisingly warm! I typically wear an XS and found it fit TTS. The photo doesn't do it justice, it's definitely a festive sweater, that'll be great for the upcoming holidays!
Unlike another reviewer, I thought it looked quite similar to the product page. It's actually very gorgeous, and maybe something that reminds me more of what I would have purchased at Jcrew in the past. Soft and cozy, I can't wait to wear it zipped up or left open because it looks great either way. My regular size Medium fit to a t.

Ok, so I'm obsessed with the color grey! It's my neutral since i rarely wear black or navy. I'm have a section of my closet dedicated to grey sweaters. I try not to buy more, but I just can't stop myself when I find a new one that's deserving of space in my closet!
This sweater fit the bill! Just picked this up in the store. The ribbon detail is so well done and unique. I love it! I will have to be careful not to snag it, but it doesn't appear super delicate. I imagine I'll be wearing this all the time this fall and winter. And forever and ever!
Runs very much true to size!

Too short for me
I really liked the color and ribbon detail on this sweater. Unfortunately, I have a long torso and I felt it hit too high on me and would have looked better had it been longer.
I absolutely love this top!! It is super soft, and the length is just long enough so I can lift my arms without showing skin at the waist while not looking too boxy on me. I am 5'4, 105lbs, 34D and I have had difficulty with tops that fit my bust and still look flattering at the waistline. I got the Black/White size small and it is flattering for a larger bust size without looking like a tent at the waist. I tried on a small and a medium at the Grove store in LA... the length was about the same for both sizes, but the medium's neckline seemed much more open than the size small. The small's neckline just wide enough to show off a necklace but not a bra strap. The feel of the top on the inside is like soft flannel pajamas which is great for someone like me with sensitive skin. It looks great with skinny jeans or black leggings.

This sweater does not fit like it does on the model at all. I'm fairly busty (34 E, 5'5, 140 lbs) and I was pleasantly surprised by how flattering this was. I will say that the neck line is totally different - on the model it's more of a boat neck but on me it's just a normal neckline. Also, the sleeves hit just above my elbow. It didn't pull in the bust area at all (yay) and it's basically like wearing a fancy sweatshirt that is super duper soft. I highly recommend this.

This top looks so much better in person, picture doesn't do justice! Material is so soft and comfy too. You can wear it with dressy skirt or jeans, perfect top for the winter.
Very nice quality. Soft, stretchy, nice shape. A little itchy, but as can be expected with boiled wool. Not lined. Raw edge seaming, love the lace cut-out detailing. I ordered a small (34C, 127#) and it was a good fit although a little loose in waist, but XS would've been too tight in arms. Sleeve length is a little short. Will be beautiful with bright shirt underneath to make color pop through the lace.

Don't pass it up because it's classic
At first was going to pass on it with the thought of how many basic black cardigans I have. Don't count this as one of those. Super elegant. Lace work is beautiful and the colors you wear will peak through. Very comfortable fit and like the seaming which gives it a nice shape. Can see myself weaing this for years to come.
