I'd been eyeing this sweater online for a while, but the cream, which I really wanted, bounced out of stock many times and shipping is so expensive, I didn't place an order. Based on the catalog shot (of the blue variation), I wasn't sure this would be a good look on my figure, as I'm curvier on the bottom than on the top and it looks sort of short on that model, despite the description stating a length of 30". I took a trip to the store a week ago and saw a lone size S in the blue on the rack, and decided to try on, despite my usual size being M (I'm a solid 6/8 on top). It's perfect! Long, flattering, and just lovely. Plenty of room, M would definitely be too big. The blue color is a deep shade of sea blue and really brings out my eyes against my dark hair and fair skin. The knit is substantial, warm, and extremely cozy, yet the sweater drapes perfectly and has great movement. I love the cables and the button detail at the sides. Great touches. Happy with the blue! Might even watch for other colors if this ever reaches sale, though I doubt it will since it's so perfect.

Heartbreak for me but perfect for most
This sweater is gorgeous. I have tried it on as many as 5 times in different stores and at different times since the Fall. I WANT it to work for me so badly, but for me what keeps me from buying it is: it's a LOT of sweater. It's perfect in every other way, but it's a lot of sweater for my small height and size. I tried XSP, XXSP and XS, depending upon what was available at the time. If they kept the same general shape but removed 6 inches from each side, and maybe 2 inches or so in length, this would have been mine. I'm 5'2" and thin: 32-24-32, and even the XXSP made me look like I was a sweater with some legs poking out the bottom and a head.
This said, this sweater is going to work for almost everyone else. So I recommend it enthusiastically to all of you, and perhaps a little jealously. ;)

Sooo cute and cozy!
I wouldn't have recognized this sweater from the picture, or even looked at it twice, because I don't think it's particularly flattering on the model, but when I saw it in the store in Petite sizing in the gray, I fell in love. The gray emphasizes the gorgeous cabling and it's sooo soft. It looks better a bit more fitted through the body so I'd say size down. I'm 5'1" and have a 32 DD chest and the PXS had plenty of room, even for a long sleeved tee underneath. I would have like to try the PXXS for comparison but they didn't have one and it may have emphasized the girls too much. It's a bit longer on me than on the model which I like with skinnies and the curved hem is flattering and lengthens the leg. I was irritated with myself for missing the sweater sale so I passed on this on Friday but couldn't get it out of my head so I snatched it up on Saturday. So glad I did. Love, love, LOVE!
OK. Pics do NOT do this poncho justice. Online I kind of looked at this like "oh, ok, cute, next..." but that is impossible to do when you see it in person. It is just too cute for words.
The maze color is so darn pretty. And there are these ADORABLE button closures under the sleeves. The design is awesome. Fits TTS, IMO. I vacillate between M and L, and because of the sleeve style I went with the large. If you tend to go between sizes and you have a small upper body frame, I would go to your lower end. If you are like me and have broad shoulders and larger arms, I would go with your larger size.
The ONLY caveat I would write is the sleeves are dolman. It comes down to a preference thing; for me, I am just not a huge fan of the style. But with that written this poncho can pull it off.
Get this sweater! It will work with jeans, leggings, and even skirts and is perfect for casual nights or can even be dressed up for the office. A real winner!

Want One In Every Color!
Purchased the Maize! I love, love, love it. Bought a Petite Medium. This Poncho is very forgiving, so I believe if you get your regular size or go up one size, it will fit perfectly. I am coming back and purchasing the Ivory. If I could I would also get the Two remaining colors. This is this perfect length for me. I am 5' and 125 lbs if this helps anyone. I think I could of gotten a small but love the way the medium fit. The sleeves are also the perfect length. Very cuddly sweater and oh soooo flattering. This was money well spent. It's like putting on your favorite sweatshirt, as far as comfort, only you look so classy in this! Love the design in the Poncho also. Honestly some one hit it out of the park on this one as far as design. If your size is available, grab one before there Gone. Highly recommend this sweater!

Beautiful addition to your fall wardrobe
When I saw this sweater in the catalog I was instantly obsessed and so happy when I saw it in person at my local Anthro store. I tried on both the M and L as I tend to run in between sizes. Both sizes fit, but I felt that sizing up was best for my frame. I am broader through the shoulders then the hips and I have a longish torso. Although the M fit, whenever I raised my arms the sweater came up too much for my comfort showing my tummy. I would say that if you have a smaller frame up top, go with your normal size but if you have a longer torso or broader shoulders, size up.
The sweater is made of cotton for anyone whose skin is sensitive to wool. My only complaint is the price, I hate paying full price, but the detailing on the sweater won me over and I thought that this is the kind of sweater that will not see the sales rack for a long time.
I plan to wear this sweater with skinny jeans and cute flats or riding boots.
I usually wear an XS with an occasional S with Anthro. I bought this sweater in a Small based on the fit of the sleeves. I did notice that the sleeve fit was not consistent within the size range, so if you have an opportunity to try several in your size you may find that some are a better fit than others. The Plum color is great with many pieces in my wardrobe and layers well with lightweight or short/sleeveless tops. You will not have much luck layering this with thicker than T-shirt weight tops, so even though it has a winter look, this cardigan is not going to provide substantial warmth. The yarn is lightweight and very delicate but is fragile and will tear easily if you are not careful pulling it on over clothing or jewelry. The multi-colored bottom is beautiful, but warning - if you do not like volume around your hips, you may not love the way it flares at the bottom. The elegant but close fit of the top makes the bottom flare more pronounced as well. In spite of its shortcomings I love this top and wear it often.

I got the orange version of this on sale and it's gorgeous. Definitely a worthy purchase!

A bit tight in the arms and.....
MAYBE a bit too flared at the bottom if not sized correctly. I normally wear an xs in most Anthro sweaters, but I took a xsp in this one to reduce the bulk at the bottom. Are the arms a bit tight? Yes, they are, but they do seem to loosen with wearing. I love the plum color and paired it with the fall colors at the bottom of the sweater. It looks great, and I highly recommend this sweater.
I bought the turquoise version in size XL and it fits pretty close to what is pictured. I found it a little smaller & shorter but still comfortable. I had to stretch out the inside portion of the arms to make it looser. The mix of colors is just as pretty in person as in the photos. The lighter shade of robin's egg blue is flattering & I love the mix with the teal. The textures are fantastic. My daughter said she wanted to hug me more when I wore this. It is so soft. I've worn it twice and it hasn't pilled. It is a good medium weight so I'll use this for winter & colder spring days. If you want a looser fit, I recommend sizing up.

Beautiful and luxurious
This sweater is gorgeous and soft. Very high quality materials and design. It is so warm and cozy- I got it in the beige/white- there is definitely more of a contrast in colors in real life than the picture, which I liked. It does flare out a bit at the hips as one user noted, but it doesn't really bother me. I can't wait to wear it!

UNIQUE & CHIC
This is such a unique cardigan - and what a pleasing color palette too.
I bought the teal in XSP - and it fits so snug !
The contrast between the sweater-like material with a textural design and soft matte felt is just lovey...and definitely keeps me warm.
Nice, soft material. Not at all itchy! I agree that it is more of a pumpkin color and the cable pattern adds interest to the sweater. I love the length and the drape. I would buy this is the ivory if it was available too!

Beautiful, high quality sweater
This is a beautifully made sweater! Perfect length - can be paired with jeans or leggings. I'm a Small to Medium on top and the Medium works well for me.

Cozy sweater for the winter!
This sweater is very soft with an interesting knit. I purchased the "yellow" which is actually
pumpkin orange, much like what you see online. It's not bulky or boxy at all. I purchased the XS petite.
It is very flattering. The cut is not high low which I like, with slits on either side. Hopefully, it
will wear well. That remains to be seen. Lately, I have found the quality of a lot of the clothing is
not equal to the prices Anthro charges.
When I saw this sweater online, I was instantly drawn to it. There is one issue, though, I am 5'3" and thought that it would be too long for someone as short as I am. When I was in the store yesterday, though, I tried it on and bought it.
It is long on me, falling to my ankle. It isn't overwhelming, though. The sweater has shape, and this particular knit is lightweight. The weave is an open knit, it isn't bulky. It can catch on things, though, but a simple stretch puts any thread back in its place. It is warm, cozy, and very comfortable. There is a combination of materials that make the knit, and there is a little fuzz that is a little itchy, for lack of a better word.
I do think that it runs tts. FYI: I usually wear a M in a semi-fitted sweater. (36C, size 10 on top, broad shoulders/back)
When I stand with the sweater on, my hands fall naturally to the pockets on the front.
Not only can you wear it with a dress, but jeans, leggings, and even a skirt would work with this one. It can also be worn as a light jacket/coat, too. Overall this sweater is versitile, comfy and cozy.

Loved it in person
Saw it online and it piqued my curiosity. Saw it in the store and loved the softness and the muted colors.
Went home and orderd the petite online and the dress shown. I'm 5"1 1/2" and 104 lbs - did not feel overwhelmed in this at all. Have worn it tons with boots. Lots of compliments.

Beautiful and soft and very long
This sweater is every bit as pretty as it looks in the picture. The colors are muted but that's a good thing; it matches a lot of my clothes. Wore it for the first time with skinny jeans and a blouse underneath and loved it. I ordered the medium and it fit over a long-sleeved shirt no problem. I might have been able to fit into a small, but I like my sweaters on the bigger side. I have two very minor qualms: one, it's incredibly long and I am not so tall; I stepped on it more than once yesterday and could see ripping it by accident if I'm not careful. The other thing is that it attracts dust/fuzzies even more than your average sweater - the bottom of it in particular. I walked down my basement staircase without lifting the hem and it was like I'd just run a duster over the steps!
I loved this sweater since I first saw it in the store and finally broke down and bought it. It is a beautiful color and the fabric is soft and kind of spongey, like boucle. My only complaints with this sweater is that due to the pointelle type of detail on the front, it looks best with a dark colored cami underneath- otherwise the contrast of light skin or a light colored cami shows up through the holes in the sweater and it looks bizarre, like it's linty or something. If you have darker skin or wear a dark colored bra you may be able to get away with nothing underneath, but it didn't work for me. I also needed to size up to a M from my usual XS in order to get the flare at the bottom to hit in the right spot (not too high) so that it was flattering and enabled me to wear it with leggings. The shoulders a re a little loose now, but its not noticeable and the length is much better this way.

This sweater is a gorgeous teal color with a soft mesh overlay that swims behind you like a mermaid tail. I'm petite (5' 1"), but tried the regular size on in-store and bought it. The regular size makes for a great tunic length sweater. I already received several compliments on the sweater!

This sweater is just gorgeous, I'm head over heels in love with it. It's so soft and fluffy. The cutout in the back is so pretty and even kind of subtly sexy for a sweater, lol. If you're not one for the exposed back look, this would also be gorgeous layered over a top or dress. The colors are so pretty and true to how they look in the pictures. I actually bought both colors and I love both of them. If there are any negatives I would say that it is somewhat delicate and the material is a little thin but not cheap looking. Personally, I don't tend to wear bulky sweaters well, so this is a good fabric thickness for me. I would say sizing is for the most part true to size; however, you need to choose the size according to your upper body. I'm generally an xsp but relative to my size, I'm bigger up top: shoulders are broader, arms are muscular and I'm a 32c so a small petite was definitely the best size. I would say buy your true size if you are narrow-average in the shoulders, have thin arms and your chest measurement is small-average relative to your clothing size. If you're not all 3 of those things I just listed, or you plan to layer, go with your larger top size. I think with layering it will only work with smoother type tops and dresses because to much detail or bunchiness of any kind will show through the sweater. Overall I say this sweater is beautiful and recommended.
