i almost always take a Large in Anthro jackets and sweaters due to broad shoulders and long arms but the Medium fits me perfectly. It is great as long as I do not plan to layer over a bulky top due to the arm width. I can wear over long sleeves as long as they are lightweight. If you have an athletic build the sleeves might be a bit narrow but probably fine. The fabric is great quality and the knit arm fabric stretches very little but are not overly tight. Every fabric including the fringe used in this cardigan is soft and comfortable. When the wood stove insert is on in the living room I wear it in the family room as it is just like throwing a super soft blanket on. By the time I purchased it, frigid winter weather had set in and I have not worn it outside but it should be versatile going with a variety of outfits. I bought the green which is true to the color on my monitor and I had been looking for a cardigan in this color for months. It is almost a cross between a cardigan and fleece jacket. I highly recommend, especially if you have sensitive skin like me...I cannot have any wool content fabric touching my skin and this is softer than a regular cardigan. I am 5'8" and the length of the medium is perfect.

Perfect perfect perfect!
I absolutely love everything about this sweater. It's actually pretty lightweight, I'm not sure where people are getting the "bulk" from. It's super soft & reaches right below my hip, so I can wear it with leggings. The gray is gorgeous. I went on a limb & ordered online without seeing in store & paid shipping. But I'm so glad I did! If your size is remaining, I highly recommend it!

A MUST HAVE!!!
This sweater caught my eye in store and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I ordered it online. I would have definitely paid full price but was thrilled to see it went on sale! I loved it so much I ended up purchasing in two colors. It is so comfy and is a staple item that goes with anything. I have the green and cream and they are both gorgeous. I wasn't a huge fan of the gray stripes, otherwise I would have bought that one too! THis was true to size, and perhaps just a touch roomy. I ordered my usual size small. I am 5'4" 140 lbs with broad shoulders. The regular size fit me but if you are any shorter that 5'4" I would probably get the petite size.
This sweater is mega cozy and mega cute! I got the burnt orange color and its divine. The design is so fun and so ANTHRO! I ordered an XL because I love an oversized sweater, and I found that it fits like a dream. I think the sleeves are long and the sweater style is a bit oversized...but I'd still say to order TTS unless you want it to be less oversized. Downside for sure is that it sheds...but that's gotta stop eventually, right? I think the design is worth the shedding!

Honest review. Beautifully made. Runs large.
Love the way this sweater is made and how it feels. I bought the black/grey sweater and it's a beautiful combo. It's not too itchy based on other reviews. I mean, if you didn't wear anything under the sweater, then it might be itchy. However, I've had itchier sweaters and would be comfortable in this. I'm a Medium/Large and bought the Large (Size 12 and 5'7"). It is WAY TOO BIG for me and fits like a swing coat. I'm not sure if I exchanged it for the Medium if it would fit better. Looking at the thin model, I don't know how the back of the sweater sits against her back. Not sure if they pinned it from the front. Belted this would look better, but it will have a lot of extra fabric. I want to try the Medium but I'm not sure the back of the sweater will fit against my back. Think I have to return it. If you're thin, the way the sweater will hang on you will be fine. If you are curvy like me, it might make you look bigger. Just gorgeous though. The orange looks nice too. Hope this review helps as I refer to reviews before I purchase.

I was so excited to see this product was on sale (I had been stalking it for a while). I purchased it, it arrived promptly, and when I tried it on it was instant love. The sweater is so cozy and wonderful for cuddling up and watching tv, but also has functional value outside of the house. I love the way the model in the picture paired it with a belt, and many t-shirt color combinations will look great with the color. The sweater does run a little big; I ordered a large and am short enough to have it cover my butt with leggings. Would definitely recommend!
I do not wear wool, so I was delighted to find this cotton sweater in a classic cable knit style. It is soft and cozy and a beautiful creamy white. I would say the sizing is somewhere between true to size and a bit large. I am 5'3, 105 lbs, 32A. I bought the regular XS. It fits appropriately, but is loose (probably a tad looser than it looks on the model). There's plenty of extra room to layer underneath (which is necessary because it is a loose cable knit). I'd say if you want it more fitted and only plan to wear a thin underlayer, size down. If you want it comfy and roomy with the option to vary your under layers (e.g. thin tank vs buttondown/collared shirt as pictured), order your regular size.

What's not to love about the classic fisherman's sweater? So, hard to find these days but beloved by most people. I also like that it is a cotton fabric and for me TTS. I got the small and am 34B. It fit to perfection. I do wish it came in some soft pastels for the spring and summer.

comfy chunky fisherman's sweater
i bought both the Orange and ivory when they first went on sale. My favorite is the orange-it isn't as bright as shown online and I LOVE the color. I have returned so many orange, salmon, etc. items because they never seem to photograph true to actual color and often show up in some fluorescent color or totally different from what is shown online and not in a good way. This time I was pleasantly surprised that I loved the Orange color magnitudes more than what was shown. It is more a medium pumpkin. I also ordered both M and L as I was unsure what would fit best. I tried on the L first and didn't bother trying on the M as the arms were just long enough in the L with a tiny bit of extra length. I fall between M and L in many styles but in this brand I often seem to opt for the L unless it is really oversized.. I have long arms but do not often have problems with sleeves being too short so if you have extra long arms this may not work, despite the model in the white having sleeves folded up. Not the type of sweater that accentuates your figure which is probably obvious from the photos. I just got mine today, on the coldest day of the winter and have the ivory one on now. It is comfy and not too warm. Plan to layer as shown in the photos as the length is perfect for a layering button down or tee to peeK out from under the bottom and show through the open areas of the knit. I highly recommend.
I love my new sweater. I was eyeing it online and decided to give it a look when I was at the shop yesterday. They only had mediums left in stock and I always wear a L/XL, but it looked roomy. IT IS HUGE! Thank goodness I tried it on because I was planning to order the L online. I am 6 feet tall so I love the way it cinches in at the bottom and helps to define my waist line. The sleeves hit my ape arms just past my elbow and the cowlneck very full. I wrap it around my neck to block out the chill in the morning, fold it over and let it hang a little in front once I'm in the office. The grey color is very pretty too. It is something of a charcoal grey but with lavendar/mauve undertones.
My only concern is that the soft cozy yarns will pill and I'll be picking little balls off this sweater in subsequent wearings.

Very cozy, versatile sweater
Ordered this in the purple color, which is a lovely smoke greyish purple Very soft and have already gotten several compliments. I'm 31 weeks pregnant right now and it fits, so that's a bonus! Hope it washes well.

I am tall and slender with a long torso so this pullover tunic/sweater works out perfectly for me. I purchased it in the oxford (darker) color and couldn't be happier. This sweater is bulky & large but hangs well. It can be dressed up or down. If you don't like big collars or chunky sweaters then you probably won't like this. It has a huge collar which can be worn on or off the shoulders. It's very versatile.
Doesn't seem like it will pill and yarn is super soft. I have been looking for a sweater in this color all season and was glad to find one that fit nicely and without wool (sensitive skin). I wear either M or L in most Anthro sweaters and bought the large so that I can layer if desired. It is definitely not over or under sized. I like the rows of fringe. The black and white weave at the top (not really a knit stitch, more like it is woven through the knit) might snag/pull if not careful but I don't anticipate wearing any jewelry with it and as with most Anthro products will hand wash so should not be a problem as it does not seem overly delicate, just the long stitches might make it prone to catching on things though probably not often since it is only at the top of the sweater. I just received it today so have not washed or worn it yet. I could have gone with a M for a more fitted look but am going to keep the L as I like the slightly looser fit especially with the short slits on each side at the bottom. My husband even loved it and he usually just rolls his eyes when I get a package from Anthro. For ref. I am 38 B and 139 lb with average torso length (height 5'8"). The sweater fits me similar to how it looks on the model in the photo. Recommend...great value at sale and extra discount.

I am wearing this sweater at work today. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the material, it is super soft and seems durable. It is also TTS - I am 5ft and the XS is roomy but not too big. Definitely recommend this sweater, unique and also comfy cozy!!!

Unique and beautiful sweater
This sweater is even more beautiful in person. Super soft and kind of funky. I bought a medium for a slightly looser fit. I'm 5'6 and 140 for reference. I love that it looks like something no one else would have. Highly recommend!
I love this sweater! I got the blue one and the color combination is just lovely! I am petite, but the length still worked on me. It will look really great with my AG skinny legged cords I also got at Anthro. It's super soft and comfy. The front is particularly flattering, whereas the back is on the looser side. The quality is excellent. It feels like a sweater that will stand the test of time.

So soft and stylish
I love this sweater. It is so soft and flattering. I love the length in the back and the overall cut. It's loose but not sloppy. The front could be a tad longer, but overall, this is a great sweater.

Excellent shape and quality!
This is the yummiest cashmere sweater - super flattering and the contrast colors really make it special!
Picked this up recently and absolutely love it! Thick and knitted, basically wearing a more stylish and socially acceptable blanket in public. Looks great thrown over a tank or tee with jeans and boots! I'm average height of 5'4"/5'5" and the tails of the sweater hit about 4 inches above my ankle, but it doesn't detract from the aesthetics whatsoever. I sized up to a medium (I have thicker arms compared to the rest of me) since knitted sweaters tend to run a little bit snugger in the arms and it fits perfectly! Great to have in the closet for colder/windier days when a structured coat wouldn't be as comfortable.

Had lots of complements, love it!
I bought this in the 30& off knitwear sale and am so pleased with the bargain. My friends covet it, I love wearing it, its warm, fun, looks very cool, i can wrap up in it or let it hang loosely. Colors are great for the northern California winter too.
