i almost always take a Large in Anthro jackets and sweaters due to broad shoulders and long arms but the Medium fits me perfectly. It is great as long as I do not plan to layer over a bulky top due to the arm width. I can wear over long sleeves as long as they are lightweight. If you have an athletic build the sleeves might be a bit narrow but probably fine. The fabric is great quality and the knit arm fabric stretches very little but are not overly tight. Every fabric including the fringe used in this cardigan is soft and comfortable. When the wood stove insert is on in the living room I wear it in the family room as it is just like throwing a super soft blanket on. By the time I purchased it, frigid winter weather had set in and I have not worn it outside but it should be versatile going with a variety of outfits. I bought the green which is true to the color on my monitor and I had been looking for a cardigan in this color for months. It is almost a cross between a cardigan and fleece jacket. I highly recommend, especially if you have sensitive skin like me...I cannot have any wool content fabric touching my skin and this is softer than a regular cardigan. I am 5'8" and the length of the medium is perfect.

Super soft and comfortable, like wearing a blanket. I end up wearing this jacket a lot around the house. It's a bit bulky to wear out under a winter coat but can imagine I'll get a lot of wear out of it in the Fall.

A MUST HAVE!!!
This sweater caught my eye in store and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I ordered it online. I would have definitely paid full price but was thrilled to see it went on sale! I loved it so much I ended up purchasing in two colors. It is so comfy and is a staple item that goes with anything. I have the green and cream and they are both gorgeous. I wasn't a huge fan of the gray stripes, otherwise I would have bought that one too! THis was true to size, and perhaps just a touch roomy. I ordered my usual size small. I am 5'4" 140 lbs with broad shoulders. The regular size fit me but if you are any shorter that 5'4" I would probably get the petite size.
The fit of this sweater is very flattering and I like the kind of deconstructed look it has. I ordered the grey color and I think the online picture is accurate... very very light grey. I wish the sleeves were about an inch longer. With my arms at my sides, they hit just right but when I extend my arms out, they come up short, which kinda drives me nuts. I don't like having just a hint of my wrist exposed. It is also made of wool, so it's not exactly soft. I also kinda wish it didn't have a hood... I feel like the hood makes this sweater look reeeeally casual. I was hoping to wear it to work, but I don't think I will. I'm still kind of on the fence about whether or not to return this... again, the fit is very flattering. Maybe if it were discounted another $20 I'd be firm on keeping it, but I think I might rather have my money back at the current price point.

The deep rust orange color of this jacket drew me in, but the designed hooked me. There are vertical lines running down the front of this jacket starting at the top of the shoulders, and curving inward toward the center following the line of the lapel, down to the waist tie, and then the lines run straight down to slightly flared out below the waist tie, creating an instant illusion of an hourglass figure. Also, the hood starts slightly in the front of the jacket at the shoulders making the shoulders appear broader (and thus the waist even more slender). All of these design features together make this jacket a clear winner. Quality excellent. Tuck a pretty infinity scarf into this one and go! I found it TTS. (5'2", 32C), and I took an XXSP.

This jacket is so warm, but not bulky very comfortable.
I happened to notice this top during the sweater sale and picked it up in two colors, the dark orange and the green. I'm petite and usually wear size 4 or S, but got this in XSP. It's quite oversized; I could have easily worn XXSP. I was skeptical about the length - I'm not fond of tunics, but it's shorter than it appears on the photos, hitting at low hip. The sleeves are also shorter, hitting just below the elbow. Had I not sized down, it probably would have fit more like the model. The 'dark orange' is not as red as it appears in the photo, but it's not orange either - more of a brick red or reddish brown. Still, I like the color. The fabric is lightweight bur warm. It drapes well and can be easily layered or belted. It's a great sweater to wear when you want to be comfortable but still look stylish. I really like it and would buy more colors if they were available in my size. I did find the fabric a bit itchy, probably due to the wool, and I wish it had full-length sleeves. Other than that, it's great.

I have the Ivory in Small and I love love love this top. It covers the hips, lays so nicely down your body, and is super soft. It's exactly what I wanted and I love the slits on the sides for some extra leg showing. Its so pretty and I get a ton of compliments.

I love how soft this cowl neck is, and it comes in so many great colors. It's a wonderful layering piece, and with the right accessories, you can dress it up or use it for lounge wear. I feel like I have been living in this so far this winter. Definitely size down, but it has a nice oversized fit and high low style. Be aware of the seam down the front and back, some people don't like those, but I think it's cool!
I usually wear an XS with an occasional S with Anthro. I bought this sweater in a Small based on the fit of the sleeves. I did notice that the sleeve fit was not consistent within the size range, so if you have an opportunity to try several in your size you may find that some are a better fit than others. The Plum color is great with many pieces in my wardrobe and layers well with lightweight or short/sleeveless tops. You will not have much luck layering this with thicker than T-shirt weight tops, so even though it has a winter look, this cardigan is not going to provide substantial warmth. The yarn is lightweight and very delicate but is fragile and will tear easily if you are not careful pulling it on over clothing or jewelry. The multi-colored bottom is beautiful, but warning - if you do not like volume around your hips, you may not love the way it flares at the bottom. The elegant but close fit of the top makes the bottom flare more pronounced as well. In spite of its shortcomings I love this top and wear it often.

I got the orange version of this on sale and it's gorgeous. Definitely a worthy purchase!

A bit tight in the arms and.....
MAYBE a bit too flared at the bottom if not sized correctly. I normally wear an xs in most Anthro sweaters, but I took a xsp in this one to reduce the bulk at the bottom. Are the arms a bit tight? Yes, they are, but they do seem to loosen with wearing. I love the plum color and paired it with the fall colors at the bottom of the sweater. It looks great, and I highly recommend this sweater.
What can I say that hasn't already been said? This sweater is absolutely lovely. Initially, I tried the plum in a S (I take a 6/8) but decided to go for the cream color in a M which I think is the right size and shape on my curvy figure. The length and cut fit as on the model - not too close-fitting and long enough to look demure with leggings and boots, yet perfect, still, over a skirt or with jeans. The pattern is interesting and stunning, and I like the asymmetrical hem as it does look intentional and pretty. The yarn itself is a beautiful ply of ivory and taupe. I have dark hair, blue eyes, and fair skin with rosy cheeks and felt that the color looked pretty against my complexion. I believe I'll wear this timeless beauty for a long time to come, and I believe it's well worth the price.

Beautiful sweater. I was drawn to plum color although you can't see the detail as well. You can rectify that with a thin tee or a camisole in a contrasting color. I don't need another neutral pullover sweater. I found it ran large, especially in the middle and sizing down definitely made it fit my pear shape a bit better. I do expect some stretch due to the knit, so depending on your desired fit, you may want to consider sizing down. I'm normally a M in sweaters. Like always.
Knit is very soft and item seems well made. I like the split collar and look forward to pairing with cords or skinny jeans.

I receive compliments on this sweater every time I wear it. I'm 5'8", slender and a D cup. I bought a small and it's perfect. I wear a white cami underneath and it works just fine. It's very soft and not too heavy for wearing it in the south.
I stumbled upon this sweater in the sale section and fell in love!!! The price is such a steal! It's not too appealing on the hanger but once you get it on…..so flattering!! I love that the back is shorter and does not overwhelm my petite frame (5'3). I like how it is shown with jeans and a tee tucked in. I wore it last night with a contrast dark green longer flowing tee (I picked the neutral color) with skinny jeans and booties and it looked so cute. Tons of compliments! Get this before it's gone!

cozy cardi for brisk fall days
fall is swiftly approaching, and with it, the sweater selection (arguably one of anthro's greatest contributions to the fashion world) begins to trickle in. this particular sweater doesn't look too inspiring on the hanger, though the mixed fabrics and stretch will draw a discerning eye.
when i tried it on originally in the xs, it fit, but it was very snug through the shoulders. i didn't like how the back swung away from me and refused to lay flat. there was something about the forward swing of the draping panels in the front that called to me, so i tried on the small instead. and lo and behold! the sweater looked great! it will be perfect for ankle booties, a skinny jean and pop of color underneath.
one of the nicest things about it is the fact that it's got volume without bulk -- you'll be able to wear this without feeling suffocated by fabric or stifled by an unforgiving arm/sleeve situation.
my only call out is the portion with the brown... i am assuming this has the acrylic blend to it, as it looks like it is already starting to pill. it isn't -- that just happens to be the look of the heathered brown material. i would recommend gentle care for this sweater and will probably hand wash -- but it is a small thing to deal with in the long run. bottom line: figure out your size, because it's worth it!!
ps: the petite proportions in this sweater are equally great, so don't feel sized out because the draping panels in the front are a skotch too long for our more petite ladies. :)

perfect fall cardigan
This sweater, just as another review mentioned, is surprisingly light but gives the illusion of having a lot of substance. I love it! It's perfect for a cool fall day without being suffocating and bulky. I wore it today and got many compliments. Oh, I've got a petite figure and am only 5'4", but it didn't make me look short at all and the small fit perfectly.
This cardi is so unique and cozy. I bought this in a size SP. I'm 5'2", 120lbs, 34B. I'm very happy with the fit. I think the sleeve length is long for petite sizing, about an inch past my wrist which I like #not too short#. The front length of the cardi looks like the model. I would have preferred that the back was longer #it's about an inch shorter than the pic on the model#, but it's still looks ok. I got a little bit of a shock when I opened the package because I was expecting a light grey cardi. I think the color looks more like a brownish grey because of the mix of grey brown yarn and a lot darker than on screen. The embroidery color is also very vibrant, almost neon as others have mentioned, it adds a bit of color to a dreary winter. If you're after a cozy, folksy, unique looking cardi this is definitely worth trying, especially at sale price.

I bought this sweater in a size XL and the fit matches the photos of the model. I think it's true to size compared to other XL sweaters by this brand. The embroidery on the one I received is perfect. The knit is soft too. I was worried this length might not work on my pear-shape but I think it's flattering since the fringe doesn't hit at the widest part of my hips. With the sleeves down, this sweater is a more tailored fringe style. My other sweaters with fringe tend to look more casual.
The main difference from the photos is the bright peach thread in some of the flowers. On my laptop, the coloring looks more of a coral. But, in person it's very bright--almost neon. For my coloring, it doesn't look good mixed with the main grey shade so I'll return mine. I do recommend it if you like this mix of colors since it's made to last.

Love the embroidery and unique look
This is a cute and unique piece. I'm a sucker for embroidery and love the design on this one. I'm not generally a fan of fringe, but it's just in the front and gives the sweater character without looking too bohemian. It's TTS to large, so you can probably size down. Material is soft and not itchy at all. I love the length as well.
My only complaint is the front just hangs down straight. I wish it had some waist definition.
All this said, it's so pretty and unique that it was a must buy for me.
