i almost always take a Large in Anthro jackets and sweaters due to broad shoulders and long arms but the Medium fits me perfectly. It is great as long as I do not plan to layer over a bulky top due to the arm width. I can wear over long sleeves as long as they are lightweight. If you have an athletic build the sleeves might be a bit narrow but probably fine. The fabric is great quality and the knit arm fabric stretches very little but are not overly tight. Every fabric including the fringe used in this cardigan is soft and comfortable. When the wood stove insert is on in the living room I wear it in the family room as it is just like throwing a super soft blanket on. By the time I purchased it, frigid winter weather had set in and I have not worn it outside but it should be versatile going with a variety of outfits. I bought the green which is true to the color on my monitor and I had been looking for a cardigan in this color for months. It is almost a cross between a cardigan and fleece jacket. I highly recommend, especially if you have sensitive skin like me...I cannot have any wool content fabric touching my skin and this is softer than a regular cardigan. I am 5'8" and the length of the medium is perfect.

Super soft and comfortable, like wearing a blanket. I end up wearing this jacket a lot around the house. It's a bit bulky to wear out under a winter coat but can imagine I'll get a lot of wear out of it in the Fall.

A MUST HAVE!!!
This sweater caught my eye in store and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I ordered it online. I would have definitely paid full price but was thrilled to see it went on sale! I loved it so much I ended up purchasing in two colors. It is so comfy and is a staple item that goes with anything. I have the green and cream and they are both gorgeous. I wasn't a huge fan of the gray stripes, otherwise I would have bought that one too! THis was true to size, and perhaps just a touch roomy. I ordered my usual size small. I am 5'4" 140 lbs with broad shoulders. The regular size fit me but if you are any shorter that 5'4" I would probably get the petite size.
OK. Pics do NOT do this poncho justice. Online I kind of looked at this like "oh, ok, cute, next..." but that is impossible to do when you see it in person. It is just too cute for words.
The maze color is so darn pretty. And there are these ADORABLE button closures under the sleeves. The design is awesome. Fits TTS, IMO. I vacillate between M and L, and because of the sleeve style I went with the large. If you tend to go between sizes and you have a small upper body frame, I would go to your lower end. If you are like me and have broad shoulders and larger arms, I would go with your larger size.
The ONLY caveat I would write is the sleeves are dolman. It comes down to a preference thing; for me, I am just not a huge fan of the style. But with that written this poncho can pull it off.
Get this sweater! It will work with jeans, leggings, and even skirts and is perfect for casual nights or can even be dressed up for the office. A real winner!

Want One In Every Color!
Purchased the Maize! I love, love, love it. Bought a Petite Medium. This Poncho is very forgiving, so I believe if you get your regular size or go up one size, it will fit perfectly. I am coming back and purchasing the Ivory. If I could I would also get the Two remaining colors. This is this perfect length for me. I am 5' and 125 lbs if this helps anyone. I think I could of gotten a small but love the way the medium fit. The sleeves are also the perfect length. Very cuddly sweater and oh soooo flattering. This was money well spent. It's like putting on your favorite sweatshirt, as far as comfort, only you look so classy in this! Love the design in the Poncho also. Honestly some one hit it out of the park on this one as far as design. If your size is available, grab one before there Gone. Highly recommend this sweater!

Beautiful addition to your fall wardrobe
When I saw this sweater in the catalog I was instantly obsessed and so happy when I saw it in person at my local Anthro store. I tried on both the M and L as I tend to run in between sizes. Both sizes fit, but I felt that sizing up was best for my frame. I am broader through the shoulders then the hips and I have a longish torso. Although the M fit, whenever I raised my arms the sweater came up too much for my comfort showing my tummy. I would say that if you have a smaller frame up top, go with your normal size but if you have a longer torso or broader shoulders, size up.
The sweater is made of cotton for anyone whose skin is sensitive to wool. My only complaint is the price, I hate paying full price, but the detailing on the sweater won me over and I thought that this is the kind of sweater that will not see the sales rack for a long time.
I plan to wear this sweater with skinny jeans and cute flats or riding boots.
I love love this coat. It's great for all the seasons in Wisconsin. Love the material and fit. Please bring back!

I just bought the moss green (nice color) and have worn it once. here are my thoughts re: other reviewer's comments: it is cut somewhat small and def. pulls on the snaps in the chest area. I am 127 lbs. & a 34B,normally a medium, pretty flat chested, but due to this issue I bought a large, which works well. Also, if you are wearing heavier clothing or layering underneath, the arms are somewhat snug and the extra room is helpful.as far as how it lays, it will never look like the 1st photo unless you work hard at posing & arranging just so. i think the model's hands in the pockets are pushing it out to shape it.It does lay more flat, but there is body and shape to it. I think it is well made but do agree the snap closures don't seem to be sewn on very sturdily. All in all, I'm very happy, think it's a flattering cut, and would highly recommend, assuming you get the right size for you! If you love funnel collars as I do, def. consider.

I love this coat
I bought this coat in the ivory color in S and XS, and I kept the XS. I am 5'3", 115lbs, and I would say the coat runs a bit wide through the middle. I could have kept the S, but the extra fabric made it look sloppy, more like a robe or housecoat.
I was unsure at first and almost gave this back, since it seemed a little unflattering and shapeless. I'm so glad I kept it. I love love love this coat. It has proven very practical - you can wear the collar down or snapped up in a funnel neck for colder weather, and I wear it indoors as a layering piece or outdoors when it's chilly, with a scarf or without. Because it is boiled wool, it is very forgiving and seems to stretch to fit my shape.
I almost never buy at full price, and I didn't really need another light jacket, but this sweater coat has been worthwhile. I have worn it every single day since I received it.
Sooooo glad I bought this very feminine, gorgeous sweater. It is stunning!!! There is a mixture of off white colors and even a few dark sports here and there and the edges of the lace trim are a little rough, stiff and unfinished giving it a very rustic European hand-made look although the sweater itself is very graceful looking overall. The top part above the lace is kind of see-through because of the perforations as it is not tightly knit... you might want to wear a nude bra or nude tank top underneath... however this feature adds to its delicacy and beauty. In my opinion the two different textures when combined give it an overall distinctive and very unique look. Can be dressed up or down but I feel it looks best and most elegant when dressed up with the right accessories.

Beautiful and Feminine
I ordered this sweater when I was browsing online during Antrho's winter clearance. AND I am so glad I did. It is my cozy go-to sweater for cold days.. It feels like I'm wrapped in a soft blanket I bought it in cream and ordered a small. I find that the shorter front is more flattering that I imagined it would be. I like to layer it with a tank peeking out. I pair it with my Stevie AG cords and add a scarf for a pop of color. However, itt's pretty enough to stand on its own.

Modern sweater with a vintage feel
I love this sweater! It will be a fun and different addition to my wardrobe. It's very flattering even with some extra holiday weight. I can dress it down with skinny jeans or dress it up with a leather skirt. I bought it in cream, but the blue is lovely too. I went for a size small since I thought it ran a bit big. Excellent quality with a great weight and feel. It looks better in person too. It's somewhat sheer on top so I'll want to wear it with a cream camisole. I highly recommend this sweater, and I don't take the time to write many reviews.
I bough the red version in a size XL and it is more beautiful in person. The photos look like the border is black but it's actually a dark eggplant purple with navy stitching. The fit on me is sort of the same as shown on the model, although I think it's a little more tailored on my shape. I think the model sized up. This sweater fits me true to size compared to my other XLs by this brand.
The quality is outstanding. It's knit so well and doesn't look like it will pill. It's a sturdier, thicker knit but can catch/snag because of the way the threads are raised. The feel is soft & comfortable.
The red version seems dressier. It looks expensive. It's a mix of red, orange, white, navy and purple. I'll wear this in more work situations than at home. There is a slight high-low cut. The zippers on the pockets are done in a way that it doesn't add bulk. I'm a pear-shape and like how the pockets lay flat. I really recommend this sweater!

Great little jacket sweater!
I think this is really different and cute. I like the pockets and the way the sweater hangs. I am usually a medium but I took a small in this one. The medium on me made it look boxy and did not look as cute and form fitting as the small. I like that it can be dressed up or down. I got the red one and I like the color a lot. Great price on this one!

Such a beautiful piece!
I got this in the red and it's just gorgeous - looks just like it does in the picture. I'm usually a S/M, so I wasn't sure what size to order but I knew I WANTED it. I ordered a medium and it was a bit too large on me, so I went to my local store and tried on both an XS and S. I went with the XS.
The back details on this pretty sweater coaxed me into making this online purchase. When I first unwrapped it, I was immediately concerned because it was almost weightless and at $88, I expected more for my money. However when I tried it on, I was able to justify it, more or less. The fabric is soft with a hint of sheerness. It drapes beautifully front and back. I am petite and pear shaped and this travelled nicely over the bottom while flattering a smaller bust. Wore it on a cold September day. It was pleasantly cozy over my sleeveless dress and the creamy colour makes it appropriate for late summer-early fall weather. A colour that goes with anything and flattering to many skin tones. I give it four out of five stars only because ten or twenty dollars less would be a more reasonable price point for comparable merchandise. I would have waited for a sale but did not risk losing out because smaller sizes tend to go fast. Hard to rate quality without first wearing and washing it a few times but hope that goes well.

Pretty details, soft knit!
Love this cardigan! At 4'11" I have the most difficult time getting a good fit. I am extremely appreciative that Anthro is carrying so many petites these days. This sweater is really pretty with such fine detailing front and back. I normally don't like open front cardigans, but this one has a slim and very flattering flow. The fabric is soft and feels great. I'm 4'11 as I said, and weigh 113. I purchased small petite and it fits perfectly, including the kind of peplum design which I normally don't buy due to height. But this sweater knit is so supple, that feature is flattering too. I bought the wine. The photo looks red, but the sweater is indeed wine. I'm about to buy another in black. The cool details don't show up on the black which is the main photo, but click on one of the other colors where details do show.

Beautiful, lightweight, soft cardigan
I bought this sweater in turquoise, which looks exactly as it does online (color wise). It's lightweight enough for late-summer evenings but will transition into fall. I bought it to go over the Splitneck Ikat Tee in green motif (which is really teal). This back of this sweater is the scene-stealer -- the fitted shoulders and waist and flowy hips skim the figure beautifully. The only thing I would change about this sweater would be to make it close (it's an open cardigan). But I can live with that for such a flattering shape and beautiful color! For me this runs true to size. I'm usually an XS and sometimes an S -- both worked just fine on me but I went with the XS for a more fitted silhouette.
This sweater is a great transitional item. Part of the piece is a limen/cotton blend, and the lining is polyester. I bought the ivory/taupe combination, and I purchased my normal size M (36C, broad shoulder/back, short waist). I tried on the L, but I liked the sweater a little more fitted. There wasn't a lot of difference between the two, though. Unlike the model, I am short waisted. Therefore, you cannot see my stomach through the living. The actual sweater part falls just below, and for me that is a plus. The ruffled lining falls to my high hip in the front, and the back just covers my butt. If you were taller and longer through the waist, this would probably not be the case. I wore it with black leggings today, and the coverage was appropriate without being overwhelming.
The quality is really nice, and the whole piece is very comfortable. I worried that the polyester lining would be too hot, but I've worn it all day without issue. The color of the ivory is more vanilla, almost white. For my complexión, that was a better color, too.
I'm very happy with this unique piece. I imagine that I could wear a jacket over it, too, so I can wear it three seasons here in Texas.

I saw this sweater online and loved it. I noticed another review mentioned it ran small, so I decided to find it in a store and try it on and I'm glad I did. I am 5'2" and weigh 110 lbs; I normally wear size xs, but I tried this on in a small and it was perfect! The bottom of the sweater just covers my belly button and the sheer ruffle isn't too sheer. It's such a lovely piece and it's lightweight enough to be a transitional piece worn alone, or would look great layered under a leather jacket for cooler weather. The color is exactly as shown and is really beautiful. Absolutely love this piece!!

This sweater is very sweet. I am 5'2 125lbs a size larger on bottom than on top and got this in a small. It fits me exactly as it does the model in the picture. It is light weight, feminine and comfortable. I purchased in the ivory and am very pleased with it. The skirt part was just a little more grey in real life than it looked on my computer but I am completely happy with it.
