    Great stylish, modern dress
I ordered this dress in the blue zigzag motif. The fit and style are classic, and the fabric pattern and rectangular cap sleeves add a bit of modern twist. The top/body is fitted, and the skirt starts at the waist and is flowy and full, which makes for a very flattering fit. I can wear this dress now and easily into the fall with some booties and sweater. And even into the winter with some tights and tall boots. Very versatile. I ordered an XS and a S. I am 5'7" and about 123lbs. I usually wear a size 2 or a S, sometimes an XS. I am a 32D. Both sizes fit well. However, the S was slightly baggy and droopy in the armholes, so I went with the XS, which fits like it was made for me! The dress may be a bit shorter, it does come above the knee, but I did not feel it was too short in either sizes. I would say my torso and leg lengths are fairly proportionate.

Great dress! but beware it is short
this dress is great. Very easy to dress up or down. I usually get a petite but in this dress the regular length was just right. I am 5'2" so beware tall people. I weigh 115 pounds and wear a 32 D bra and a small fit perfect.

    Anthro Personal Stylist Review
This shirtdress is a must-have for transitioning into Fall. An amazing wear-now, wear-later piece! Throw on now with your summer sandals and layers of necklaces. Pair with tights and top with a cardi for cooler months. The shirtdress is always a flattering wardrobe staple; polished enough for the office, but easy-breezy enough for weekend activities. The elastic waistband adds comfort and the cap sleeve gives it a modern twist. Runs TTS. The simple graphic prints also make it effortless to mix and match with your favorite toppers and accessories. -Carolyn Need more help? Cozy but arms are short
First: I love this sweater. According to the size guide, I should have ordered a medium but my arms are long so I ordered a large. It fits PERFECTLY in the arms, and if I'd gotten a medium, I would have exchanged it for a large in the end because the arms on the large are *just* the perfect length. I won't be throwing this sweater in the wash at all. It will have to be a dry cleaning garment, which is fine with me. It's worth it. The sweater goes with EVERYTHING. It doesn't look as tailored on me as it does on the model in the online pics, but that's because I had to order up a size. I haven't taken it off since I received it a week ago, and though it has some pilling, it's nothing a sweater comb or sweater stone can't fix right away. Since I purchased the sweater on sale, I'm ECSTATIC about it. I am not sure I'd be able to pony up more than $100, but it is definitely worth that much. I have received endless compliments on it. I thought all the other reviews just couldn't be real. But they are. It's the perfect catch-all. It looks beautiful with everything and yesterday I wore with with brown boots in the day and black boots at night. So convenient!

    Perfect sweatercoat
I've owned this sweatercoat for about 3 weeks now and have worn it at least 2-3 times each week. It's absolutely perfect and the neutral shades go with just about anything. Also, the fit is very flattering. I typically buy more bright prints, but I feel in love with this when I saw it online. The weight is perfect for Texas weather. I can see myself being able to wear this through most of the winter. For reference, I bought a MP because of my height (5'1''). If I would tried it on in the store I probably could have gotten away with the regular M. I almost think the sleeves are too short, but my husband has assured me they are the perfect length. I probably would have exchanged it for the regular length, but I didn't want to have to pay for the shipping. Overall I think this sweatercoat is a great investment. I see myself wearing it for many years to come!

A Beautiful sweater but in no way a sweatercoat
    - This is gorgeous. But in NO way is it a sweater-coat. It is just too thin IMO to be classified as such. - I would order your usual size UNLESS you want to wear this over-sized OR you have very broad shoulders and larger arms, then, in both instances, size UP one size. - This is not lined and the material is on the thinner side. I have not had any belt "issues" as another reviewer has, but I can see where the belt could come loose, as the loops on the sweater are not very secure. - There are no buttons or slits on the cuffs, but the sleeves are still [relatively] easy to "tszuj" up. And the functional pockets and the collar's versatility to be worn a couple different ways are very nice touches. - This sweater IS going to pill, so have a sweater stone or sweater comb on hand for maintenance. - Again, it is an incredibly versatile sweater (with it's black, brown, and beige palette and patterns). It looks great with Ts, blouses, turtlenecks, and over dresses, too. It just isn't a coat in any sense of the word, so just set your expectations accordingly.

    Gorgeous
I got this in grey (which is actually a grayish lavender), and it fits great. Usually I wear an XS (skinny hourglass figure), sometimes petite, but since I am pregnant (31 weeks) I decided to go for an S. I haven't gained a lot of weight, so my shoulder, arms, and my bottom are the same as they were before the pregnancy. I decided to go for an S only to have a little more coverage on the belly (to cover the wired movements and shifts of the baby) and to let the cardigan hit two inches under my bottom. The shoulder fit is perfect, and so is the arm length. If I wanted it to be a little bit tighter and shorter, I would have gone with and XS or a petite, but the S does not look sloppy at all. I will definitely wear this cardigan after the "download" of the baby. The fabric is superbe, simply cotton and wool. It might pill a little bit, but I am sure that this effect is non going to last after the first uses. Highly recommended.

    Perfect Cardigan
I have this in mint and wear it all the time! I love it! It fits great, drapes well, and is soft and easy to wear with anything. Highly recommend.

    Such a pretty sweater!
I bought this sweater in a size regular S, which is my normal size in sweaters. (For reference, I am 5'1'' and 118 lbs.) It is a little loose in the sleeves (and hence, I think the sweater may run a bit big- I definitely could have sized down), but I like my sweaters a little bit big so that I can wear t-shirts comfortably under them. I bought it in the mint color, which I love. The color is a bit more vivid in person. The fabric is soft and not at all itchy. It is not a very warm sweater (particularly with the open back), which is fine for me to wear in the spring. The detailing along the back and down the front is gorgeous. My only worry is that it may be rather delicate for everyday use. However, at sale price, I couldn't resist.

    beautiful but...
There is so much right going for this dress that I feel bad saying anything negative about it. the weight of the material is perfect for winter, the lining super soft, the pockets are perfection and the color - both blue and gold polka dots - classy. My regular M fit me perfectly if not a little on the large side, but I'm not sure I would size down to the S since I have a large bust and the M fit that part of me perfectly. I definitely had room in the waist that if it was large in the bust too, the S would have fit better. So all in all, there's nothing wrong, per say, about this dress. I tried it on, loved the way it felt on me, but my fashion forward 16 year old daughter said it looked matronly on me. That word clinched it for me and I'm probably going to return it. But it's definitely a gorgeous dress - maybe the same style in a different pattern or silkier, more flowy material would make it less matronly?

    Much nicer than expected
Bought on the xtra 30% off sale and expected a thin fabric. This is a medium weight fabric that fits well...better quality than expected for the sale price. I usually wear a medium, occasionally a L in dresses at Anthro and the M fit me like a glove, if anything a teensy bit snug in the rib cage however the fabric has a little give and is comfortable. Perfect for cooler weather with a cardigan or colder with coat over a cardigan. If you carry a little extra weight around the midsection this dress will hide it, at least it did for me. My stats for reference are 36 A/B, 5' 10" with a normal torso length and legs on the long side and 143 lbs. The length was perfect...just a tad above the top of my knee. The dots are definitely gold but not gaudy. For the price it was a great value.

    Great Top
I love this top! I purchased this in the navy and the color is true to the picture shown. I personally have worn it with a light cami underneath because I like the look but if you don't want to layer it then it is not necessary. The fabric is thick but not heavy or restricting and even layered I was not hot. The lace is not overly delicate which is nice because you don't have to worry about being extra careful as to not snag it. I have received many compliments every time I wear the tank. It is a simple yet elegant design that you can wear for any occasion. I have worn it with jeans, shorts, and skirts and it looks great every way. I purchased the M and it fits great. It does run slightly large but I usually purchase tops in M and the fit is relaxed and comfortable without being sloppy. I am 5'3" and 36DD so if you have a smaller chest you could size down with no problems. So far it has seemed to hold up just fine with washing on delicate and laying flat to dry.

    Home Run
Saw the navy on sale in my local Anthro and loved it so much I stalked the white top online and now own both...and wear them frequently. I'm 5'7", 34A, 125-130lbs, and usually an XS or 4 in Anthro tops (with the occasional 2) with a long torso. The XS fit perfectly. No underarm gaps, but not tight, either. The top looks very much like it does on the model. Yes, I do think you need a tank or cami under it. However, this isn't an issue for me. I can wear something tissue thin in the summer. In the winter, this is a PERFECT tank to wear under a cardigan. It adds a lot of interest and texture. The tops have washed well (I wash on gentle then lay flat to dry), and I don't need an iron at all if I smooth it out once or twice while it's drying flat. All in all, I'm thrilled with this purchase. Versatile and very highly recommended.

    HEAVY KNIT
This is not a lightweight knit top. It's a heavier knit and the lace trim at the bottom is thick. There is also not much stretch because the lace trim at the bottom is cotton and prevents any stretch, even though the entire body of this top is a knit. So, it's a tight fit around the hips. The lace is like a cotton band around the bottom of the top. The fit is TTS, however. I purchased an XL in the dark blue. And, it fits just as shown. It is a tailored drape without a lot of volume. Since I purchased the dark blue, I feel there is no need for a cami. And, because this is a thick knit, it would simply make it much more hot to wear. The V-insert at the neck is flirty, but not too low. This could be worn for any situation depending on what you pair it with or what jewelry you add. It's also a pretty basic look and not "faddish" so it can be a wardrobe staple for years.

Cozy & Cute, Great for All Occassions
Very happy with my purchase: This dress is as pictured, it fits a bit large but is very flatteringlly so. Honestly, there is a bit of a pooch on the belly, but it drapes nicely and adds to the flattering cut so its no issue. The material is a heavy jersey knit style, like a cross between a sweater and tee dress. I wasn't 100% sure about how roomy it was but decided to keep it and I'm glad I did. I received several compliments on my first day wearing it.

    Perfect summer dress.
I purchased this last week and have wanted to wear it everyday since! The fabric is medium weight, but airy, and it never seems to wrinkle! It fits on the loose side which makes it comfy and easy to throw on. I am 5'4" 125lbs, 32DD/DDD and the small is a little loose on me (but I decided that I prefer that fit.) I also love that the length works for my 5'4" size because some anthro dresses are too long for me. It fits a few inches above my knees (may be on the short side for taller ladies). I don't purchase a lot of full priced items but this one was 100% worth it! It is perfect for any occasion.

    VERY Flattering
Love this dress - like most saturday/sunday items, it is incredibly comfortable. But I can easily see this for office worn with black tights and suede pumps. It hugs the curves - but not too much. It runs short. I am 5'2" and bought a regular small - it is about 2 inches above my knees. Only caution is that I am not sure about the fabric quality...several dresses at my local store had bad pulls/holes.

    Even better in person
OK. Pics do NOT do this poncho justice. Online I kind of looked at this like "oh, ok, cute, next..." but that is impossible to do when you see it in person. It is just too cute for words. The maze color is so darn pretty. And there are these ADORABLE button closures under the sleeves. The design is awesome. Fits TTS, IMO. I vacillate between M and L, and because of the sleeve style I went with the large. If you tend to go between sizes and you have a small upper body frame, I would go to your lower end. If you are like me and have broad shoulders and larger arms, I would go with your larger size. The ONLY caveat I would write is the sleeves are dolman. It comes down to a preference thing; for me, I am just not a huge fan of the style. But with that written this poncho can pull it off. Get this sweater! It will work with jeans, leggings, and even skirts and is perfect for casual nights or can even be dressed up for the office. A real winner!

    Want One In Every Color!
Purchased the Maize! I love, love, love it. Bought a Petite Medium. This Poncho is very forgiving, so I believe if you get your regular size or go up one size, it will fit perfectly. I am coming back and purchasing the Ivory. If I could I would also get the Two remaining colors. This is this perfect length for me. I am 5' and 125 lbs if this helps anyone. I think I could of gotten a small but love the way the medium fit. The sleeves are also the perfect length. Very cuddly sweater and oh soooo flattering. This was money well spent. It's like putting on your favorite sweatshirt, as far as comfort, only you look so classy in this! Love the design in the Poncho also. Honestly some one hit it out of the park on this one as far as design. If your size is available, grab one before there Gone. Highly recommend this sweater!

Beautiful addition to your fall wardrobe
When I saw this sweater in the catalog I was instantly obsessed and so happy when I saw it in person at my local Anthro store. I tried on both the M and L as I tend to run in between sizes. Both sizes fit, but I felt that sizing up was best for my frame. I am broader through the shoulders then the hips and I have a longish torso. Although the M fit, whenever I raised my arms the sweater came up too much for my comfort showing my tummy. I would say that if you have a smaller frame up top, go with your normal size but if you have a longer torso or broader shoulders, size up. The sweater is made of cotton for anyone whose skin is sensitive to wool. My only complaint is the price, I hate paying full price, but the detailing on the sweater won me over and I thought that this is the kind of sweater that will not see the sales rack for a long time. I plan to wear this sweater with skinny jeans and cute flats or riding boots.
