    Absolutely Gorgeous
I love this dress. As soon as my package arrived I ripped it open, as I have been eyeing this dress for almost a year now. A lil skeptical on the price and how the cut and material would actually fit and feel. I am very pleased. Although the color online seems a bit darker, and the mint color is a lighter color, the first impression I had of the color looked like a knockoff, but, once I got over it and put it on and my eyes adjusted, it is a very elegant dress. I'm 5'3 maybe154lbs, bought a size 8 and it fit nicely on my hour glass shape. Not too snug, the material is stretchy. Yes the stitching in the arms won't give. But nothing bad, compliments me in every way. I'll be purchasing the Red Mauve and don't mind paying full price.

    Great but not for everyone!
This dress is very well made and designed. I sometimes feel that Anthro is overpriced, but this item is well worth the money due to how substantial it feels (it's lined, and the fabric is robust without being too heavy for spring). I especially liked the way the lining is a couple of inches shorter than the shell of the dress; it adds a sexy touch to an otherwise demure shift. The colours on the dress, especially the coral, are brighter than pictured, and this is the main reason I'll be returning the 00P I bought, rather than sizing up (it was a little snug for me). Also, ladies be warned, the dress while beautiful is not terribly forgiving. If you have even the slightest bit extra for love handles or around the waist, or if you would simply prefer not to emphasise your bum, I'd steer clear. I think the reason is that the design naturally draws attention to your shape, and the cut is not quite empire but slightly above your natural waist. Even if I sized up to a 0P, I think I'd still encounter the same problem. Such a shame!

    Love this dress!
This dress is actually pretty heavy and a decent made fabric. The fabric is a bit stretchy and there is some elasticiity with it. I really liked this dress - for me ( I am 5' 7 ') it came to a little above my knee and I felt was very flattering cut wise. I got a lot of compliments regarding the dress when I wore it. I have a lot of Maeve products and feel that some of their dresses are good, others not so much - this is one of the great ones! Would recomend!

Great dress that takes you though weight changes.
I saw this dress online and loved the colors and the cut immediately. However, a few things to take note: 1) in real life, the dress is more dark purple; it appears more red on my screen 2) the dress appears low cut online; in real life, it ended up even lower. Lots of cleavage. 3) the hems are unfinished 4) the elastic band ends right underneath the top of the rib cage (near the sternum) 5) it's incredibly lightweight. It's made of nylon, the material used for pantyhose 6) it's sheer, but has two dark layers so it shouldn't be see-through (an inner purple slip) I'm almost 7 months pregnant and gained almost 20 pounds. I was originally 105# and 5'1" and always grabbed 0p or xsp. I grabbed my usual, non-maternity size and it fits beautifully, with LOTS of room for the growing baby because of where the elastic begins. I'm positive it will take me through maternity; it has that much space down there. When convincing my husband, I joked that not only can I wear this after I lose the pregnancy weight, I can wear it for breastfeeding since it's that low cut. Easy food access for the baby, haha.

    Beautiful Maxi Dress
The design of this dress is great, beautiful colors, airy and soft fabric. I'm petite. The dress doesn't overwhelm my body type even though there's lots of fabric below chest. It also hides stomach and flaws around waist area. The deep v neck balances the long length of the dress, looks very flattering. The color n fitting looks true to what's shown in the photos. I definitely recommend it.

    Great maxi/long dress
This is my first maxi dress and I love it-great jewel colors that can be worn into fall with a cardigan. Its slightly darker than the online pic. Incredibly comfortable and airy even in the hot CA sun. I think its slimming and classier than some of the other maxi dresses out there. I am 5.6 1/2 127 lb and the xs fit best. I am usually a small in anthro dresses, but found the s was to low cut (it showed my bra). Xs is also a great length for my height, I can wear flats and its not close to dragging. Pricey-but made in the US and combined with my bday discount I am very happy with the purchase.

    Perfect Sweater
I tried this in in stores a few months ago and fell in love with the Blue Motif color, someday I would buy this. It finally went on sale and i snagged a size Large as soon as I could. I got it in the mail today and it's just as amazing as I remember in store, it's extra long which is great for all types of shirts and pants with no worries about anything hanging too low and covering your backside in leggings, the sleeves are longer which give it a cute bagginess without feeling ridiculously long. i'm 5'7" and this hangs to 1/2 way down my thighs, the colors are vibrant, the knit is soft and doesn't feel cheap, even if this fades with a few washes the colors will still stand out. Buy one for yourself and a friend!

    Great sweater for multiple seasons
I purchased this in the green/ivory/blue colorway and color is just as pictured online. I liked the size M for a little extra room to have the option of layering in cooler temps (5'7" 135# 34B/36A 34-28-38). Could easily have worn the S if only going to wear over a tank and wanted a more fitted look. The sweater has a subtle curving in at the waist giving it a nice fit-not so square. It is very soft and light weight, fragile but not so that I am afraid to just throw it on and go. Length is long-hits mid thigh. Sleeves are very long on my long arms (falling over my hand just like the catalog shot of the model) and would be very difficult to roll or push up due to the soft loose material and the amount of it. I love the sweater, very casual and comfy.

    Beautiful sweater
The picture really doesn't do it justice. This sweater is very feminine and pretty. It is also surprisingly durable. The first time I wore it, a big dog jumped on me and I though for sure his paws would tear it up, but it remained intact. Definitely recommend this one.

    Comfortable and versatile
Extremely comfortable and flattering dress. Hits just above the knee on my 5'7" frame. Runs a little large due to the amount of stretch in the material so you will probably have to size down if you prefer it to fit a little snugger across the waist (which I think creates a more flattering silhouette) otherwise it will be quite roomy. Really depends on the type of look that you are after. Works well as a nice casual piece, but can also be very easily dressed up with a belt and some dark tights. Paired it with a gorgeous beaded Anthro belt and was really pleased with the overall look!

    on the fence...
I have tried this dress on twice but haven't pulled the trigger. In part because of the price (it is so casual, it just seems a bit pricer than necessary?) and in part because of the fit. I think it would definitely work better on someone with a smaller bust proportionate to the rest of their body (I am a 34D but only 5'2"). With that said, it won't look *bad* on someone with my frame. It is a lovely dress, the material is so comfy (stretchy and just feels good on), it has pockets which is a total plus... If I had more of a reason to wear this I would probably have gotten it by now (I don't work in an office, but if I did, I think it would be perfect). Hopefully I'll be back for it once it is on sale, but at this price, and for my needs, I can't justify it for now :)

    Multi-Season Staple
I didn't think too much about this dress when I saw it online, but when I saw it in my local store, I knew I had to have it. The fabric is wonderfully textured and it fits like a dream. I normally wear a small or medium in dresses like this and I went with a medium in this case because the small was just a little bit snug. This is one of those items that looks really put together but feels like you're wearing pajamas, plus it has pockets!!. Right now I'm wearing it with booties and sandals, but as the weather gets cooler I'll be pairing it with tights or leggings and boots.

    sophisticated quirk
I have some other Maeve skirts that are knit, and not nearly the quality of this skirt. I have purchased a couple of really well-made Maeve skirts recently. The thing I love most about Anthro is the unexpected, occasional 'quirk' that some pieces have. I'm a sucker for something REALLY different, unexpected and artful. When I saw this skirt online a few weeks ago I thought 'what a cheap-looking and really funky #in an 'old school' bad way# design'. I usually don't care for skirts that have a plain back. Well...BOY was I surprised when I saw it in person at my local store. It is amazing and truly an artful, sophisticated piece, with the 'quirk' that I love. The pom- poms are high-end, with a tasteful bead on each that catches the light ever so slightly. The fabric is beautiful and the waistband is substantial and the perfect stretchiness. The piece is fully lined, and quite well-made. It is pricey, but not overly so when considering the style and quality of both the textiles used and the workmanship. A true standout pencil skirt !!

I was waiting for this to go on sale--but saw that the larger sizes were selling out. It came yesterday, and I admit I waited a little too long. I will have to lose 10 pounds before I can wear this--but that incentive is a good thing. I would say that it fits true to size--as I should have bought a 14--but that wasn't available. I can wear the 12, but clearly need to drop those 10 pounds. The colors are marvelous, and the back is a lovely brown/green just a bit darker than on my monitor. The lining is the same brown/green and finished with navy scalloped hem stitching. A bit lighter weight than I expected. It will actually be a good 3 season skirt--I don't think I would wear this in high summer--but certainly the rest of the year. I was surprised to find how many things in my closet this will go with. One of the reasons I was holding back was that I thought it would need a jacket. Now that I see it in person, I see that I can wear it with several sweaters that I already have. The tapestry has so many colors that make this a very versatile piece. It is a very polished skirt--suitable for work and social events. I am a lawyer, and wouldn't wear this to court because of not having a jacket--but can wear it to the office and client meetings easily.

    Wearable art...
This skirt is absolutely gorgeous. It's a perfect piece for the fall. While I initially wasn't crazy about the solid back, I like it better once I tried the skirt on. I think too much tapestry would have been too much. The colors are beautiful and rich and the skirt , while heavy, is comfortable. The elastic waistband is super comfy, but I wish it was half the size. On me it's super high waisted and I prefer my skirts sitting a tad lower... I bought the petite size because I wanted a shorter length, but it's still a tiny bit too long. I'm actually considering shortening it and taking one of the rows of pompoms off. I pinned it just to see what it looks like and it doesn't take away from the uniqueness of the skirt. If anything, it looks a little more streamlined for my short, petite frame....it's expensive but special, so with my birthday discount, it was worth it!

    A surprise stunner!
Instant love! I spotted the coral version on a hanger and couldn't get it to the fitting room fast enough! I am 5'2" 34C, 27in waist - the XS fit perfectly up top and at the waist but just a touch too long. I ordered the XS petite online and will be wearing to a rehearsal dinner. Beautifully made with great attention to detail - the scalloped edges are subtle and give the dress some flair, and the pockets were a fantastic addition to this easy summer dress! Neckline does not reveal much cleavage and I did not have the issue with the extra material at my waist. This is a fit and flare dress and it does what it is supposed to - flare at the waist, in a very flattering way. The peekaboo at the back covered with lace is classy and does not reveal any undergarments. Garnered plenty of compliments when I stepped out of the fitting room!

    Caye Scalloped Dress
Beautiful coral dress with nice thick soft fabric and lovely scalloped detail. I'm normally a 14/Large in dresses with a 38 D bust. I took a large and it fit perfect. The waist sat just right, length was perfect and it was very flattering, hiding my mommy belly.

    Cute dress
I tried on this dress in S in navy blue and it fits true to size for me. The quality of the material is excellent and the dress is super comfortable and easy to wear. The scallops and the detail in the back with the lace adds that extra touch I really like. I didn't have a problem where the back didn't lay right like the other reviewers, but I do agree that it does add a bit of bulk around the hips. The waist sits a little lower on me, so because I have a bit of a post partum belly, it does showcase that a little more than I'd like it to, but it's nothing big that deters me from getting this dress! The only thing I wish is that it came in different colors than what is available now!

    Beautiful Cardigan...
...but not quite what I expected. Based on the neutral colored photos, I expected the wool to be a bit stiffer. The open front drapes a little awkwardly on me - the grey photos are a better representation of how the cardigan actually falls on the body (mine at least). Based on the previous reviews, I wasn't sure about sizing; I am 5'8. 140lbs, 36D and I purchased a size medium. I am happy with the fit for the most part, but I do feel like the arms are a little short (afterward, I noticed both models push their sleeves up); still, I have rather long arms, so this might not be a problem for others. The positives: it is such a beautiful knitted sweater, and the fringe detailing is stunning. i also really like the neutral color - it allows the pattern in the back to really get noticed. Also, it's very comfortable, and I don't find it itchy at all. If you can get it on sale, I would recommend.

    Lovely details
The petite lavender was sold out online so I tried on the regular size small in the store because I like roomy sleeves and shoulders in cardigans. Especially, this is the wrap type so I would be wearing layering underneath. The material is soft (no itch) and the details are amazing. I am 5' tall and 118 pounds. The size small worked. I do agree with the previous reviewer that the fit is strange because I tried the smaller size and the front of the sweater did not fall into place right. For the frills on the front to fall correctly, the fit had to be roomy enough for draping. Lovely work of art!

I bought this in the creamy beige and it's so adorable. I would agree that it runs a tad bit small. I'm usually a 2 or 4 up top and I went with the medium. This will be great to wear with jeans and boots or classy enough to pair with something for work.
