    The perfect dress for some
So I saw this online and KNEW I had to try this on. I normally wear a size 12, but it wasn't available so tried on the 10 which fit me like a glove. Now here's what you need to know. I'm very short waisted AND have long legs, so this dress hits me right at my waist. I know I have an slightly different body shape than the norm so again TRY THIS ON. Now here's the biggest con - the top is super fitted, so you will always need assistance to get the zipper up and down all the way. There's just zero give, which is why it can fit like a glove, but I even tried on a 14 and there was no way I was going to take a chance and possibly rip the dress. I have broad shoulders so I've worn dresses like this before, and honestly it's so rare to find one that fits and flatters like this that I'll take this small con over the fit. So for me this is definitely a keeper...but it won't fit everyone the way it fits me. Definitely try a size or two, and also note that the pattern is different for each dress.

Fits as if it was tailored for me
I was a little bit hesitant to try this dress on because of what some reviewers were saying about the wonky fit regarding the waist fitting like an empire waist and about the sleeves being tight. Not having an opportunity to get to my local Anthro, I ordered it in my usual 0; and as soon as it arrived, I tried it on. Slipping into the dress was easy, as the zipper goes all the way down to your lower back. I zipped it up as far up as I could and then got help zipping the rest of it up. The dress felt comfortable on. The sleeves fit nicely, not constricting in any way. The waist fit well, hitting perfectly at my waist. The chest area is quite fitted, but has good enough breathing room. The length comes down just barely covering my knees. For reference, I am 5 feet, 103#; 34-25-34.

    flattering flare
This dress has a flattering flare if you are narrow in the rib, the dress hits more like an empire seam on me than at the true waits like it shows on the model. I wear it with a narrow jeweled belt and it accentuates the narrowest part of my body and minimizes my curvy thighs. with a pair of knee highs and black boots it has a stylish and modern sass. The fabric is soft and the pattern is more subtle on since it gives the skit movement with the fabric that flows all around as you walk.

    A MUST HAVE!!!
This sweater caught my eye in store and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I ordered it online. I would have definitely paid full price but was thrilled to see it went on sale! I loved it so much I ended up purchasing in two colors. It is so comfy and is a staple item that goes with anything. I have the green and cream and they are both gorgeous. I wasn't a huge fan of the gray stripes, otherwise I would have bought that one too! THis was true to size, and perhaps just a touch roomy. I ordered my usual size small. I am 5'4" 140 lbs with broad shoulders. The regular size fit me but if you are any shorter that 5'4" I would probably get the petite size.

    Great on trend coat/cardi
This hits all the on trend keys: fringe, blanket look, but it does it without the typical bulk. The back side solid panel is shaped so from the back does not make you look wide like many blanket coats do. I have this now in the tan and grey. If had the green in my size still left would have it too. Plan to where this as coat most of the time like that I can replace a hoodie with it for casual and can still where it with dress pants for work.

I bought this in all three colors
This is a wonderful sweater that I will keep for a very long time. I felt that it fit true to size and that the sleeves were just the right length. I love pairing this with skinny jeans or leggings and often just throw it on to get into carpool in the morning over my workout clothes. Probably one of my favorite purchases at Anthro and I was able to buy each one during one of the sales! Great job Sat/Sun!

I own quite a bit from Anthropologie, but this is perhaps my most favourite buy. I'm 5'4", 115 lbs, 30DD bust, and took a 2. I like to have a little wiggle room for gaining and losing weight with pieces I plan to wear for years to come, but yes, I could have sized down to a 0. The dress is full of beautiful colours. The background is teal and the crewel work goes from bordeaux to rose to spring green. My colouring is somewhat similar to the model pictured in that I am strawberry blonde and very pale, but with a bluer undertone, not as pink. I am confounded by all the negative reviews, however. The zipper hasn't been causing me any trouble. There were a few loose threads inside the dress that shook off. No damage to the gorgeous crewel work. I am high waisted but this isn't hitting me particularly low or off. In fact, the proportions are great on me. I don't know if I got lucky or what, but if you're reading all the bad reviews, take 'em with a grain of salt and try it out. Fwiw, I've been wearing it with the Loden Jacquard Moto Jacket in wine and Frye Veronica Back Zip Short Boots in maple.

    A stunner!
I have been very good while living in the UK by not buying too much anthro (and the shop is just down the street!) b/c of the exchange rate. But I couldn't pass on this dress. I think its an absolute stunner - the colors scream fall/winter and it looks amazing with flats and bare legs or boots and stockings. The patter is reminiscent of both a Scandinavian design and tapestry - the colors and embroidery are vibrant and well made. I am very fair with reddish-brown hair and found the colors very flattering on me but I could also see this working for anyone. I am a little over 5'9 and found the dress still an appropriate length slightly above the knee - I would wear it to work (office job). Fit wise I think it runs 1-2 sizes too small. I am typically a 4 and went with an 8 - I might have put on 5 pounds while here but the dress runs really narrow through the rib cage - I have broad shoulders but a slender frame and found the 6 much more constricting than the 8 and I do want to breath. :) All together, a fabulous dress with lovely detailed embroidery and vintage appeal. Figure flattering as well, makes the waist look small without enhancing the hips.

    feminine, stunning dress
I had been eyeing this dress for months and decided to wear it for Christmas. It was the perfect choice - totally my style, goes with many other accent colors, and is comfortable to wear. It does seem to run small - I almost always wear a 6 or 8 in fit-and-flare dresses, but in this I bought a 10 and it fit perfectly.

    Almost perfect transitional piece
I saw this at Anthro and was drawn immediately to the beautiful and brilliant blue of this dress. The flowers elegantly signal the fading bloom of summer and the refreshing arrival of fall. In every way, from the weight of the fabric, the potential for layering, and yes to both heels or boots, this dress is spot on. The only criticism I have is the construction of the dress. I tried this on three times (two in size 0 and one in size 2) and each one had problem with the bust line not being sewn correctly. I finally settled on one of them but realized that one of the pockets was protruding more than the others. At this price, this should not be the case and I examined other sizes and could see that this was happening across the board. Needless to say, because I think it's an unusually beautiful dress, I decided to go with it and enjoy it. Hopefully, however, the label will take note and take measures to tighten quality. BTW, my figure is a stick and I like how this creates the illusion of curves.

    my dream dress!
I LOVE this dress. The shape is beautiful and super flattering. The colors in the florals are beautiful. The sheen makes it just a little bit more special than my regular day dresses. Looks so cute paired with burgundy tights. The front neckline is modest but the small dip in the back makes it a little less stodgy. Thank you Anthro for beautiful pieces like these!

    Beautiful but runs large!
I love this dress - beautiful pattern, very well made. It's a great winter floral and the fabric has the right weight for fall/winter. I did find it to be a full size too big though.... I'm usually a reliable 4, especially in this brand, and it was too loose on me. A shame because it arrived just in time for a party and I didn't have time to exchange.

Interesting combination of colours, fits well
I have a small bust and a narrow chest/shoulders, so I often have trouble with tank tops gaping under the arms. Happily, I didn't have that problem at all with this tank -- it fit perfectly under the arms and through the chest, and flowed out nicely to a handkerchief hem at the bottom. A few of the pictures on this site make it look like this tank adds weight to the hips, but it wasn't the case for me in real life -- I think the hip bulge on the model may have just been the result of an unfortunate pose or odd camera angle. I don't often wear patterned clothing, but I was pleasantly surprised with the combination of colours in this tank -- they really do work together. I was worried that it might look too "busy", but it doesn't -- it's eye-catching in a good way. The only downside to this tank is the price. I'm used to paying high prices for clothing because I live in Australia, but unfortunately in this case it seemed out of line with the level of quality.

    Gorgeous style, color and fit
This top is one of several pieces that came in my very first order from Antro this week. I have to say, I am HOOKED!!! I ordered the red top. The colors are vibrant and so beautiful. Despite losing 40 pounds, I still have a belly and a way to go, but I am about a size 12, and I ordered this in a large. It fits beautifully and is very flattering on...flowy with good drape, so I'd say it fits TTS. I highly recommend this top!

    Cute top in red
I have to disagree with other reviewers who said this top makes ones hips look wider. I did not find that at all. In fact, the picture of the model online in the red top has the peplum part sticking out wider than it actually did on me. I am usually a medium and found the medium fit body hugging and the large looked fine also without so much body skimming. For reference, I am cup size B so a larger chested person might have to size up. The red color was cute and I liked it for patriotic holidays. I thought the cut of the hem in front and the back pattern showing on both sides of the front had a very slimming effect. I certainly would not have bought this top,if it made the hips look wider. I am 5'3" 170 pounds.

    on the fence
The fit of this sweater is very flattering and I like the kind of deconstructed look it has. I ordered the grey color and I think the online picture is accurate... very very light grey. I wish the sleeves were about an inch longer. With my arms at my sides, they hit just right but when I extend my arms out, they come up short, which kinda drives me nuts. I don't like having just a hint of my wrist exposed. It is also made of wool, so it's not exactly soft. I also kinda wish it didn't have a hood... I feel like the hood makes this sweater look reeeeally casual. I was hoping to wear it to work, but I don't think I will. I'm still kind of on the fence about whether or not to return this... again, the fit is very flattering. Maybe if it were discounted another $20 I'd be firm on keeping it, but I think I might rather have my money back at the current price point.

    instant hourglass
The deep rust orange color of this jacket drew me in, but the designed hooked me. There are vertical lines running down the front of this jacket starting at the top of the shoulders, and curving inward toward the center following the line of the lapel, down to the waist tie, and then the lines run straight down to slightly flared out below the waist tie, creating an instant illusion of an hourglass figure. Also, the hood starts slightly in the front of the jacket at the shoulders making the shoulders appear broader (and thus the waist even more slender). All of these design features together make this jacket a clear winner. Quality excellent. Tuck a pretty infinity scarf into this one and go! I found it TTS. (5'2", 32C), and I took an XXSP.

i hope this dress is appropriate for a near 30 year old. mine is so poofy!! but i love it. i feel it fits true to size. i got a size 2. it fits snugly but i think a 4 would be too big. i love the little bit of crinoline at the bottom. great party dress! love it.

    Perfect dress
I bought this dress for the office Christmas party and got so much compliments! Love the unique colors and puffy skirt! I can totally wear it for a garden party in the summer or even for a wedding. Very satisfying purchase :)

Fun fit and flare party dress!
This dress is very fun and vibrant in person. The pictures are slightly misleading because it is very flared and the cap sleeves pop up because the material is very thick. With that said, the dress is great for those who love the fit and flare look. The neckline is very flattering, it is very slimming in the waist and at 5'2" the length on the regular is perfect for me. I will say that the sleeves are constructed in a way that restricts mobility and I'm usually a size 4 in similar dressed by this designer but in this dress I sized up for a 6 and its snug in the chest and across the back. I would not recommend going up another size because the fabric is so thick that any extra fabric won't drape and it would be noticeable. My only other gripe is that its polyester. . . why Anthropologie can't you have more dress made out of silk, cotton and other natural fabrics?!
