    Perfect Sweater Dress
There are so many things to love about this sweater dress. The pattern is bold, but it isn't loud or gaudy. And, it is so soft. The lace at the neckline is whimsical, and you can easily wear a black bra without the straps showing. What I like the most, though, is that the skirt is a-line rather than straight up and down. For my body type, straight up and down, this dress actually gives me a waist. FYI: broad shoulders/back, short waist, larger on the top than the bottom (10 on top, 4/6 on bottom), and short 5'2" - I purchased the M. I tried the L, but on my short frame it sort of hung in an unflattering way on my body. Since it is a sweater knit, the more fitted version is best. You can stretch the fabric a bit, to create the shape that you want. The black band falls directly on my short waist, so if you have a long waist it might be too short for you. The length is perfect for my short frame, falling just above my knee. I have already worn this dress twice. Both times, I wore it with black tights and booties. It really is very versitile, and so I will wear it on many occasions. You can easily pair it with a cardigan or a jacket, though it doesn't need it. Overall, this is a perfect sweater dress.

    Love this dress!
I'm 5'7, 175 lbs, 38 bust, short waisted and short, skinny legs. Not the best figure- but this dress fits really well and is super flattering. I bought a large. If You are long waisted this dress may not work for you simply because of the placement of the black band. The fabric is super soft. I can't stand to have anything itchy on my skin, and this dress won't even need a cami under it. The Lace at the top makes this dress seem extra special. Wear a black bra and the straps will blend right in. I can't wait to wear this dress!

I love this dress! It is super flattering on, the shape and material are very forgiving. . The black band does sit higher on me than the model, but I have a large chest. I am usually pretty sensitive and do not find this dress itchy at all. So happy I got it!

    Rich Winter Warmth
I adore Anthro's selection of sweater dresses this season. Here is yet another winner. My usual XXSP runs TTS and fits my 5'0" frame exactly as pictured. The turquoise color is a lovely, rich, quintessentially Fall "mallard" blue-green. The dress gently conforms to the body while leaving room for layers and secures with a quality zipper and hook-and-eye closure in back. The raised seaming down the center and around the patch pockets lends character to an otherwise simple silhouette. The boiled wool is substantial yet light, though unfortunately unlined and more itchy than I'd prefer... I do fear this dress might stretch out, as boiled wool can do when it isn't anchored by a layer of lining. Even so, I believe this dress is worth the price. It's versatile and classic. Mine will remain a cool-weather staple for years to come, and the outfit possibilities will make it new again each time I wear it.

Fabulous-can work easily from day to night!
Really nice shape, slightly fitted shift skims in all the right places. Great fabric- good quality boiled wool. Need a cardi or light jacket or an underneath layer for winter of course. I love, love love the turquoise color, may come back for another in red.

    The Color!
I purchased the red online and I'm so happy I did, absolutely love the color. The material doesn't feel like boiled wool at all, because it is so lightweight and stretchy like a sweater. The cut is very forgiving and falls above the knee and not too short which is nice. Very cute with tights and a long sleeve top underneath. I may go back for the blue one! Note the hem is cut higher in front and lower in the back which isn't obvious in the model photo but much more visible in person. Love love that this dress has pockets! (for reference I am 5'6", 135) the size S fits perfect! This will be a favorite for years to come. Great find!

    Pretty winter wardrobe update
I was skeptical when I first opened this dress -- I don't normally buy dresses without defined waistlines because I'm curvy. This dress actually fit perfectly, though (I'm a pretty exact 8P, so I ordered a medium petite). The stripey front panel has a good drape to it, so it hangs nicely and doesn't over-accentuate my curvy bits. Also, although it doesn't have a waistline per se, it is gathered in the back so the dress nips in on the sides and doesn't make me look like I'm wearing a maternity frock or a shapeless bag. The fabric is pretty light, so for deep winter, it might be best to wear leggings (and I don't think the dress is too short on me). I was also a little surprised that the stripey wool-blend is a bit itchy. I hope that straightens out after a washing or two. Overall, I'm excited to wear the dress, because I think it's going to become a winter work staple for me. Just the kick in the pants that my winter wardrobe needed.

    So cute!!
I absolutely love this dress! It is so cute. It can truly be worn as a dress because it is a decent length, or can easily be paired with leggings. Fits great! I'm in love!

Bought this on sale in the blue/multi color XXSP. Fits wonderfully--5'2", 100 pounds. Very soft, and love the pockets and back! Very versatile, as well.

Runs two sizes small and petite is too short
This is an awesome skirt, though as others have noted it looks much better with a tucked in top (white, black, chambray, or burgundy) rather than a long sweater as in the model photo. In my opinion the skirt is at least two sizes too small. I am very tiny, sometimes 00P is too large for me, and always need petite sizes, yet I had to size up to a regular 0 in this skirt 1) in order to be able to breathe in the elastic waist and 2) to feel like the skirt approached a comfortable "mini skirt" length. The range of colors in the pattern make the skirt incredibly versatile, and I am glad I found one that fit.

I am really loving this skirt! It is a great, vibrant pattern that stands out but does not overwhelm or look cheap. I ordered both a 6 and 8 based on previous reviewers saying it runs small. I am usually a 4 or 6 in skirts and dresses and the 6 fits but I can't decide if the 8 looks better on. It is a little longer but both kind of fluff out in the back above my rear, common for me with skirts like this, so I am thinking of sticking with my usual 6 since I hate sizing up if I don't have to and I like the look of the trimmer waist in the 6.

    Perfect holiday skirt
While this is titled a mini skirt, it is just about the perfect length. I am 5'10" and the 14 comes to just above my knees. I sized up, as I often do with skirts, both for length and a bit more comfort. The waistband, while it lays flat in the front, is elastic in the back, which allows for easy fitting. Also, unlike many pencil skirts, this particular skirt has pleats on the front creating a slight bubble effect. Initially, I thought this may be unflattering, however, the positioning of the pleats, right below the waistband, creates a flattering hourglass shape. I would shy away from hiding the waistband with a bulky sweater and pair it with a tucked blouse. The pattern has a pretty shine, which will be perfect for dressing up for the holidays.

    a nice XL cardigan
I bought the turquoise version in size XL and it fits pretty close to what is pictured. I found it a little smaller & shorter but still comfortable. I had to stretch out the inside portion of the arms to make it looser. The mix of colors is just as pretty in person as in the photos. The lighter shade of robin's egg blue is flattering & I love the mix with the teal. The textures are fantastic. My daughter said she wanted to hug me more when I wore this. It is so soft. I've worn it twice and it hasn't pilled. It is a good medium weight so I'll use this for winter & colder spring days. If you want a looser fit, I recommend sizing up.

    Beautiful and luxurious
This sweater is gorgeous and soft. Very high quality materials and design. It is so warm and cozy- I got it in the beige/white- there is definitely more of a contrast in colors in real life than the picture, which I liked. It does flare out a bit at the hips as one user noted, but it doesn't really bother me. I can't wait to wear it!

This is such a unique cardigan - and what a pleasing color palette too. I bought the teal in XSP - and it fits so snug ! The contrast between the sweater-like material with a textural design and soft matte felt is just lovey...and definitely keeps me warm.

    Cute Dress....if you're skinny
I finally received my long awaited dress as I've been stalking this dress for months with the plan to purchase once it went on sale..... I love the colors..it was totally wrinkled when it arrived so i can't just put this on without running it to the cleaners first to get pressed (the back wrinlkes very easily) but it looked very small. I thought "no way will I fit this thing." Shockingly, I put it on and it does fit and it fits almost perfect...i wish the neck weren't so scooped on this dress as my upper body isn't my strong area to accentuate, but....it works for me if I can find a matching cardi. One point is you really have to be in shape to wear this dress as it fits pretty closely and there isn't much room. If you have a stomach, it will show in this dress. If you're fit, it's perfect...if you don't care about your stomach, that works too. I love the colors..the gold is subtle and i plan to wear this to work with navy pumps and a thick goldtone necklace.

    Nothing not to love
I originally bought this dress in the black and white and was less than impressed. I went to return it when I saw this one in the navy and multi colored front. First off the sweater knit has gold weaved through the sweater portion, giving it a sort of Holiday-ish flare. The sweater weave tappers in as it moves down which is a nice contrast to the back swing and gives a slimming look when looking straight on. The back fabric drapes nicely and is a acetate sort of material. the dress is beautifully lined in navy and has pockets. I'm a bit larger on top, 34DD and average through the hips. I'm 5'3" and bought this in a M. I originally bought a S, my normal size in most Anthro dresses but found it to be tight in the shoulders and just sat too high in the length to suit me. As I mentioned I originally bought this in the black and white and was less than impressed with the size S. So when I saw this I fell in love, and the medium worked better. I wore this with a high boot in taupe and got so many compliments. Would highly recommend

    An Unexpected Winner
I've become a bit obsessed with Anthro dresses this past year (so many cute ones!), especially because my local Anthro now carries petites, so I regularly stop in to see what's new. I passed up this same style in the black and white, but the rich jewel tones and subtle metallic thread runnng through the front of this caught my eye. What didn't look like much of a shape on the hanger was a total surprise when I tried it on. The ballet neckline is extremely flattering (make sure your bra has wide set straps) and the swing back that wraps around the side keeps this dress from looking shapeless. Although the sleeves are the same tweedy fabric as the front panel, they have a stretch panel on the underside so keep things comfy. That being said, the XSP was nicely fitted on top but still had plenty of room elsewhere. (I'm 5'1" 115 lbs, 32DD) Wasn't totally sold on the lightweight crepe back, but it's lined and the styling was too cute to pass up. Have entertained in it twice already and will again tonight. It's that comfortable. If you develop any snags in the fabric (I haven't personally, but there were a few in the store), they can easily be pulled back through with a crochet hook. Definitely a dress for the holidays and beyond. Now considering the black and white, as well.

I've had these pants for two years in the red color -- they are perfect. Again, Pilcro makes the most perfect pants in the world. First of all, they are so comfortable, I feel like I'm wearing pajamas. They are soft and lightweight -- so I don't recommend for temps below 20 degrees or so -- but perfect for fall (or spring in a more versatile color). As one user mentioned, they are a bit legging-like. For instance, you can see a slight outline of the kneecap, but I feel 100% comfortable wearing them to work, with family, etc. They may be a little revealing in a super light color, but these darker colors should be fine. Not to mention, they are very flattering. They make your legs look fantastic and smooth! Like all Pilcro jeans, they have a ton of stretch, but do not get stretched out after a dozen wears. After two years, my current ones are starting to wear in areas that have been stressed (like the crotch because these pants are comfy enough to make you want to sit cross-legged and do the splits in), but I think that is honestly fair enough! I would love to know if the rust color is as purple as it looks here or more grey, and it the mahogany is more chocolate-y brown or red, but I guess I'll have to search a store soon and see for myself.

    Best Pants Ever!
I grab a pair of these cords (or velvet when they have them) each year. They fit TTS. Because they do stretch out a little bit, I find them appropriate (in darker colors) for work. I can easily pull off business casual in these. They literally feel like you're wearing pajamas. I love that they dont dip too low when I bend over. No muffin top or plumbers crack here! At 5'8' I prefer to wear the Tall (which allows me about 2-3 extra inches to roll up), but could totally wear the regular.

These are exactly what I was looking for as an alternative to jeans and leggings for everyday, comfortable pants. LOVE that they are higher waisted and have a ton of stretch, since I am running around after kiddos all day and spend lots of time playing on the floor. As other reviewers have said, they are as comfortable as pjs or leggings. SO glad you have come out with additional colors. I have the smokestack and have checked stores, only to find a very bright gold solid and floral pattern. Since I am looking for more basic, neutral colors, I am thrilled with these new choices. THANK YOU
