I am so excited about this dress! It is stunning in person- the colors are just gorgeous and the pattern is adorable. I'd say the pictures on the website are very accurate. I was worried the sleeves would be a bit much but they actually look great when the dress is on. Love that the material is corduroy- very warm and comfortable- and being corduroy it makes it more casual so thicker tights and boots looked great! I would say definitely order based on your bust size because there is is plenty of room for larger hips and backside :) (I'm a size larger on bottom than top so I was very happy about this!) At 5'2 I tried the regular and the petite and went with the petite size. The only slight issue was the slit in the front is pretty low and does show cleavage. Not enough for it to be inappropriate for me because I am not large chested but just something to be aware of if you don't like showing a little skin or have a larger chest.

Fun fall dress with nice details!
I tried this on in a regular size 4. For reference, I am 5'1'' and 118 lbs and usually a size 4P or SP. The regular 4 fit me in the waist and the length was alright, but it was a bit loose in the top portion (and gapped a bit at the neck), so I think I will be purchasing in petite sizing. I'd say overall it runs TTS. This dress is very fun. It came to just about my knees. It flares out at the bottom, and the tie at the waist provides a defined waist, so the overall look is very flattering. I love the sequin detail at the sleeve, and surprisingly, the cap sleeve does not make my shoulders or arms appear bigger than they are. The dress is very well-made in a thick corduroy, and the colors of the pattern are rich and gorgeous. I love the littles birds on it. The neckline is quite low- I may want to wear a cami underneath. Overall, this is another great anthro dress! It will look great with boots all winter long!!

    Beautiful fit, beautiful design
I had been eyeing this dress since it first hit the Anthro store. I waited until there was a 25% sale and tried on a regular size 2. I am about 5 feet, 108 pounds and found the size 2 was okay but gaped a bit in the top because I am thinner on top. I exchanged it for a regular size 0 instead and it fit beautifully. The beaded sleeves in particular fit so much better on the smaller size. It was a perfect fit for me including length and I did not have to go into the petite size.(which they did not have in the store anyways). I have received so many compliments on this dress ever since I bought it. I have worn it to more dressed up events and have dressed it down with a cardigan for work. It is truly a stunning dress.

    The perfect dress for some
So I saw this online and KNEW I had to try this on. I normally wear a size 12, but it wasn't available so tried on the 10 which fit me like a glove. Now here's what you need to know. I'm very short waisted AND have long legs, so this dress hits me right at my waist. I know I have an slightly different body shape than the norm so again TRY THIS ON. Now here's the biggest con - the top is super fitted, so you will always need assistance to get the zipper up and down all the way. There's just zero give, which is why it can fit like a glove, but I even tried on a 14 and there was no way I was going to take a chance and possibly rip the dress. I have broad shoulders so I've worn dresses like this before, and honestly it's so rare to find one that fits and flatters like this that I'll take this small con over the fit. So for me this is definitely a keeper...but it won't fit everyone the way it fits me. Definitely try a size or two, and also note that the pattern is different for each dress.

Fits as if it was tailored for me
I was a little bit hesitant to try this dress on because of what some reviewers were saying about the wonky fit regarding the waist fitting like an empire waist and about the sleeves being tight. Not having an opportunity to get to my local Anthro, I ordered it in my usual 0; and as soon as it arrived, I tried it on. Slipping into the dress was easy, as the zipper goes all the way down to your lower back. I zipped it up as far up as I could and then got help zipping the rest of it up. The dress felt comfortable on. The sleeves fit nicely, not constricting in any way. The waist fit well, hitting perfectly at my waist. The chest area is quite fitted, but has good enough breathing room. The length comes down just barely covering my knees. For reference, I am 5 feet, 103#; 34-25-34.

    flattering flare
This dress has a flattering flare if you are narrow in the rib, the dress hits more like an empire seam on me than at the true waits like it shows on the model. I wear it with a narrow jeweled belt and it accentuates the narrowest part of my body and minimizes my curvy thighs. with a pair of knee highs and black boots it has a stylish and modern sass. The fabric is soft and the pattern is more subtle on since it gives the skit movement with the fabric that flows all around as you walk.

Just received my dress and I am in love with the way my curves are exploited by the lustrous cuts, elastic snug without the tight look. I'm 5"2, 140lbs and my concern from reading the reviews was if I brought it in a Medium would I be happy because I'm a size 2, but my body is very muscular and curvy in all the right places. Actually, 34DD-29-36 and my bust-line can be a problem at times when buying clothes. No need for a slip and no need for a snug fix. This dress fit me perfect, especially within my arms and I had room to breathe and look sexy without smothering myself with a tight exact fix. The material is stretchy but in a good way. My advice is to buy a size up and not get the exact fit because when the material is stretched out it takes away from the dress and the pattern looks smashed.

    LOVE this dress
I loved this dress the minute I saw it, but just now got it, having ordered it in a small and a medium. Fit and stretch wise, I could really do either size with the exception of the shoulders. No one else has mentioned this but I find the shoulder /sleeve seam to be very wide, and it ends up looking a little pointy. I will have to take in the shoulder seam regardless of which size I end up with. I am definitely keeping this dress, because I think it is gorgeous, plus even though it is tight, the length gives me a lean look. For reference I am 5'5" 135 lbs, and sort of a straight shape. The dress is definitely longer than in the pictures, hitting me below the knee. The back is a little higher than in the pictures and covers your bra strap. I didn't notice that it was see-through at all. I feel like you could wear a slip with this. I can't wait to wear this dress - it could be a dressy dress with a rhinestone earring or a casual dress with a black tight and boot. So glad I bought this dress, and even happier that I got it on sale!

    Va Va Voom
I love this dress. As a lean/athletic built woman with curves, this dress serves up body on a platter. To the onlooker, this is uber body-con, but for the wearer, this is ultra flattering and even does a decent job of downplaying problem areas thanks to both the material and the color/pattern. I found that this ran true to size for me. I’m usually a small, I probably could have gone with the extra small, but the sleeves would have been way tighter, I still had to maneuver myself in the sleeves with the small. I’m right at 5’6 and this dress comes to my knees, which I like. It does tend to ride up a little when walking, but at the length, it’s not much of a problem. For some reason, a fitted dress that is longer than mid-thigh tends to look more expensive and just gives a better vibe. And this is coming from a relatively young woman. The floral pattern is more of a beige/yellow/gold combo, rather than a bold yellow. Gold accessories would go well with this. I donned a black fascinator and ankle stilettos with this dress at my friend’s recent outdoor engagement party and it was a hit.

    Ophira Dot Dress
Love polka dot dresses and this one didn't dissapoint. Great quality and construction. Fit true to size and very flattering on my busty/curvy figure.

    beautiful but...
There is so much right going for this dress that I feel bad saying anything negative about it. the weight of the material is perfect for winter, the lining super soft, the pockets are perfection and the color - both blue and gold polka dots - classy. My regular M fit me perfectly if not a little on the large side, but I'm not sure I would size down to the S since I have a large bust and the M fit that part of me perfectly. I definitely had room in the waist that if it was large in the bust too, the S would have fit better. So all in all, there's nothing wrong, per say, about this dress. I tried it on, loved the way it felt on me, but my fashion forward 16 year old daughter said it looked matronly on me. That word clinched it for me and I'm probably going to return it. But it's definitely a gorgeous dress - maybe the same style in a different pattern or silkier, more flowy material would make it less matronly?

    Much nicer than expected
Bought on the xtra 30% off sale and expected a thin fabric. This is a medium weight fabric that fits well...better quality than expected for the sale price. I usually wear a medium, occasionally a L in dresses at Anthro and the M fit me like a glove, if anything a teensy bit snug in the rib cage however the fabric has a little give and is comfortable. Perfect for cooler weather with a cardigan or colder with coat over a cardigan. If you carry a little extra weight around the midsection this dress will hide it, at least it did for me. My stats for reference are 36 A/B, 5' 10" with a normal torso length and legs on the long side and 143 lbs. The length was perfect...just a tad above the top of my knee. The dots are definitely gold but not gaudy. For the price it was a great value.

    Gorgeous and versatile colors
I have this dress in the "orange" version and absolutely love it. The colors of the dress are a bit different from the website photo - I would say the background color is more brownish (think "bright tan" if you were buying footwear) and the circles are a dark navy (so may work for you with navy or black depending on how picky you are about these things). So actually the colors are more versatile than you might think because most people will have some tan, navy, or black accessories and footwear that will work well with this dress. If you are layering over it, besides the colors mentioned above, any blue between a bright cobalt and a navy seems to work very well, and a darker gold color also looked great. My usual petite size at Anthropologie worked perfectly here. I do have a very straight up and down figure (very few curves anywhere, although I do have a fairly small waist) and it certainly suits that body type. I'm 5 ft 3 inches tall and the petite length on me is very similar to the model shot.

Excellent quality - a steal at the sale price!
Got this dress in the orange and on sale. I have to say, I have bought a few anthropologie items recently, and this by far surprised me the most. This feels like a high quality dress. I bought an 8P and it fits my body everywhere. My measurements are 34C/36B and I wear 30 waist jeans. The dress hit slightly above my knee, so it might be too short for the taller ladies. I was hoping that the orange would be a brighter orange as shown in the picture - it looks more brown than orange to me (it could be my lighting). Highly recommend! I wish they had more colours/patterns for this dress.

    Great Dress
Based upon the other Reviews (thanks to all!), I went ahead and ordered the Petite length. Although I am 5'3", I typically buy Regular length maxis because I wear 4" heels (sandals included) on a regular basis and sometimes Petite length can be too short. Not so with this dress. The Petite length is definitely long enough for me to wear my heels. I bought the size 8Petite, and the dress does fit a little big. I could have sized-down to 6Petite. However, I decided to keep and may have Seamstress make a few minor tweaks to tighten elastic in the waistband since I am curvy shape with smaller waist, and a tweak to the neckline where the beading meets the fabric seam. If the fabric were brought up a tiny bit, the top of the dress would give a more tailored fit for my bust area. For those who are more large busted...lucky you...probably not an issue. The sale price is a great buy!

    truly stunning dress
I needed a dress for a coastal garden party & fell in love with everything about this dress but was concerned about a maxi fit, being petite, as my style is more tailored-fit. But bought it because the design was absolutely stunning. I am so glad I did because it looked stunning, gorgeous & effortlessly on. I have never had so many complements, heads flinching & all I was wearing was this amazing dress. The dress is gorgeous both in the front & the back. The neckline beading went beautiful against my dark hair & slit at the back showed off the back beautifully. The flow & comfort of the dress, front & the back, was perfect. This is definitely one of, if not, my favorite dress. The only con was the front sides were slightly deep. I had it pinched hemmed up where the front of the fabric & the beading met. Buy this dress if you want an effortless look!

    Absolutely Stunning
The second I saw this dress in the store I had to try it on. The beautiful colors and awesome beading at the neck sucked me in. I'm typically a size 6, but I sized down in this dress, even with a 34DD chest (did not try this on with a bra either). The size 6 just seemed too roomy in the chest area for my liking, and the 4 still gave me plenty of room and wasn't tight at all. I'm 5'8" and it's a perfect length on me, hits right at the ankle. Love when I don't have to get maxis hemmed! I think the colors are more beautiful in person than in these photos shown...not as muted. This is a perfect summer dress. The fabric is light and airy. My Anthro store even showed it belted with a thick light brown belt, which also looked adorable.

    Even better in person
OK. Pics do NOT do this poncho justice. Online I kind of looked at this like "oh, ok, cute, next..." but that is impossible to do when you see it in person. It is just too cute for words. The maze color is so darn pretty. And there are these ADORABLE button closures under the sleeves. The design is awesome. Fits TTS, IMO. I vacillate between M and L, and because of the sleeve style I went with the large. If you tend to go between sizes and you have a small upper body frame, I would go to your lower end. If you are like me and have broad shoulders and larger arms, I would go with your larger size. The ONLY caveat I would write is the sleeves are dolman. It comes down to a preference thing; for me, I am just not a huge fan of the style. But with that written this poncho can pull it off. Get this sweater! It will work with jeans, leggings, and even skirts and is perfect for casual nights or can even be dressed up for the office. A real winner!

    Want One In Every Color!
Purchased the Maize! I love, love, love it. Bought a Petite Medium. This Poncho is very forgiving, so I believe if you get your regular size or go up one size, it will fit perfectly. I am coming back and purchasing the Ivory. If I could I would also get the Two remaining colors. This is this perfect length for me. I am 5' and 125 lbs if this helps anyone. I think I could of gotten a small but love the way the medium fit. The sleeves are also the perfect length. Very cuddly sweater and oh soooo flattering. This was money well spent. It's like putting on your favorite sweatshirt, as far as comfort, only you look so classy in this! Love the design in the Poncho also. Honestly some one hit it out of the park on this one as far as design. If your size is available, grab one before there Gone. Highly recommend this sweater!

Beautiful addition to your fall wardrobe
When I saw this sweater in the catalog I was instantly obsessed and so happy when I saw it in person at my local Anthro store. I tried on both the M and L as I tend to run in between sizes. Both sizes fit, but I felt that sizing up was best for my frame. I am broader through the shoulders then the hips and I have a longish torso. Although the M fit, whenever I raised my arms the sweater came up too much for my comfort showing my tummy. I would say that if you have a smaller frame up top, go with your normal size but if you have a longer torso or broader shoulders, size up. The sweater is made of cotton for anyone whose skin is sensitive to wool. My only complaint is the price, I hate paying full price, but the detailing on the sweater won me over and I thought that this is the kind of sweater that will not see the sales rack for a long time. I plan to wear this sweater with skinny jeans and cute flats or riding boots.
