Size depends on how you want it to look, I think.
I read a lot of reviews before ordering this jacket. I wanted a stylish jacket that's not too boxy, but I didn't want something that was super short on me. I was worried about the other reviewers saying the back rides high. I'm 5'1", about 135-140 pounds. I have a short waist and longer legs, so petite tops usually work well for me with regard to length. Occasionally, petites are too tight in the shoulders, though. I debated a lot, but went with the regular medium (not petite) and was very happy with it! The length is perfect, hitting me at the top of my hips, I can fit a thin sweater underneath if I want. The leather detail gives it edge. I didn't feel that the shoulder distressing was really a big deal. It didn't jump out at me, but I looked for it because of the other reviews. I think it's just fine. If I'd wanted a shorter jacket that rides above the waist, I think the petite would have been the way to go.

    This is THE ONE!
Not much I can add hear that hasn't already been said but for the first time in my petite life I have a denim jacket that fits and flatters and does not add bulk to my frame. Hallelujah! 5'1", 115llbs, 30D and the XSP fits a treat. Sleeves are perfect length. Collar is just the right proportions. Buttoned up it's a bit of of a squeeze but I'll never wear it like that anyway. Open over a sun dress, t-shirt or tank top is the way this one will add value to so many outfits this summer (you might wanna size up like many folk have said if you're planning to take this through winter over a sweater) The high low styling and stitching details make this very chic. Yes, it's a little pricey for a cropped denim jacket - you could get one just about anywhere for half the price - but this a a wardrobe staple and worth a little extra to get it just right.

    Just Adorable!
Everything other reviewers say about this jacket is true; it is cropped, it is distressed, the buttons are initially hard to work, but man is it cute. I've been coveting it for months and finally took the plunge. I can see if you're looking for a more traditional denim jacket that this might not be what you're looking for, but I love how unique and tailored it is, and I don't mind that there's a gap (with blouse showing) between some of my pants and the jacket. Because it's cropped it looks especially adorable with dresses, which is a major reason I purchased it. The leather tabs are unique and one of the selling points for me. I personally wish it weren't quite so distressed, but I can live with it. The color, I should add, is perfection. Such a pretty, strong blue. I normally wear small and I sized up to a M. I do wish the arms were a touch longer at my wrists, but the fit is close enough and sizing up would only make it too boxy. Overall, one of my favorite new purchases!

    love it
I am rarely happy with anything from Anthropologie, but this dress is the exception. I ordered blue and got in mail today. Super impressive fast delivery. The blue is rich and perfect fall color. It goes with every fall color including burgundy and olive. The material is soft, flowy and warm. NOT overly thick material but perfect weight for fall. Very figure flattering too. I have similar body type as model wearing the blue dress and that is why the dress looks perfect on me. Unfortunately, I am not sure this dress would work for all body types, but if you are slender, it will be perfect. I used my birthday discount and plus the extra 25% sale and was sold on it. Really perfect dress.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Flattering, great sleeves and neckline, and the blue is a particularly lovely peacock color.

I am a voluptuous girl, and I am also petite. This dress is unreal and really is beautiful on me. If you have a small waist and big bust, be prepared to look like a classy Marilyn Monroe. It is so elegant yet sexy and very flattering. I bought it in the blue... then saw it came in other colors so I order the other two as well. I don't normally do that, but this dress is definitely worth the price. If you're thinking about buying it, BUY IT before it sells out-- you won't regret it! Bordeaux always does such a lovely job, I am a little obsessed with this.

    Even better in person
OK. Pics do NOT do this poncho justice. Online I kind of looked at this like "oh, ok, cute, next..." but that is impossible to do when you see it in person. It is just too cute for words. The maze color is so darn pretty. And there are these ADORABLE button closures under the sleeves. The design is awesome. Fits TTS, IMO. I vacillate between M and L, and because of the sleeve style I went with the large. If you tend to go between sizes and you have a small upper body frame, I would go to your lower end. If you are like me and have broad shoulders and larger arms, I would go with your larger size. The ONLY caveat I would write is the sleeves are dolman. It comes down to a preference thing; for me, I am just not a huge fan of the style. But with that written this poncho can pull it off. Get this sweater! It will work with jeans, leggings, and even skirts and is perfect for casual nights or can even be dressed up for the office. A real winner!

    Want One In Every Color!
Purchased the Maize! I love, love, love it. Bought a Petite Medium. This Poncho is very forgiving, so I believe if you get your regular size or go up one size, it will fit perfectly. I am coming back and purchasing the Ivory. If I could I would also get the Two remaining colors. This is this perfect length for me. I am 5' and 125 lbs if this helps anyone. I think I could of gotten a small but love the way the medium fit. The sleeves are also the perfect length. Very cuddly sweater and oh soooo flattering. This was money well spent. It's like putting on your favorite sweatshirt, as far as comfort, only you look so classy in this! Love the design in the Poncho also. Honestly some one hit it out of the park on this one as far as design. If your size is available, grab one before there Gone. Highly recommend this sweater!

Beautiful addition to your fall wardrobe
When I saw this sweater in the catalog I was instantly obsessed and so happy when I saw it in person at my local Anthro store. I tried on both the M and L as I tend to run in between sizes. Both sizes fit, but I felt that sizing up was best for my frame. I am broader through the shoulders then the hips and I have a longish torso. Although the M fit, whenever I raised my arms the sweater came up too much for my comfort showing my tummy. I would say that if you have a smaller frame up top, go with your normal size but if you have a longer torso or broader shoulders, size up. The sweater is made of cotton for anyone whose skin is sensitive to wool. My only complaint is the price, I hate paying full price, but the detailing on the sweater won me over and I thought that this is the kind of sweater that will not see the sales rack for a long time. I plan to wear this sweater with skinny jeans and cute flats or riding boots.

I thought that I had found a pair of jeans that I loved when I found the Abercrombie jeans 5 years ago. They fit nice, albeit a little tight in the legs, but were very soft and comfortable. But now that I've essentially outgrown their demographic, I thought I'd try a new pair of jeans. I've been wearing the pilco stet's for a while, and they were nice (and 19.95 in clearance!) but they weren't a perfect fit. So I tried some ag jeans on in store the other day, only I wasn't ready to pay 213$ for them. So when I found this pair in clearance, I was over joyed! They fit perfectly, which is amazing seeing as if jeans fit my legs, they are always too loose in the waist (years of being a back catcher made my thighs slightly disproportionally thick). These jeans wash up amazingly, and they don't stretch out. I'm not usually one to wear jeans multiple times before washing, but I was running late and threw these on, and they looked as good on day two as they did day one. I can't wait to run out and grab another pair. I would highly recommend these jeans!

    A closet staple
I have often favored other brands of high end jeans (always on sale!), but had never tried on AG jeans until one day when I was perusing the Anthro sale room and stumbled across some. I have been on the hunt for a "normal" wash pair of AG jeans on sale ever since. I am slender and moderately tall (5'7'), but have a rounder rear. These jeans (in Landing) hug my figure without lookiing or feeling too tight. Length is typically a problem for me too; I have a pretty long waist which means sometimes full-length jeans are a bit longer on me than I prefer. These hit right where they should and also look great cuffed as well. They're also lightweight enough to wear throughout most of the year, even in my midwest/south region. Like another reviewer, I would put an asterick on the 5 star rating due to the price (though the sale price helps).

    Perfect for petites!
Thank you Anthro and AG for offering the classic Stevie in petite sizes! I love the regular Stevie cut but have always had to scrunch and roll up the hem so during the recent free shipping promotion, I ordered the petite version in both grey and blue in 25P (I'm usually a size 25), thinking I would try them on for size but keep only one pair given the high price. The fit is so perfect and flattering, and it's so hard to find such well fitting jeans, I decided to splurge and keep both pairs. I've already worn them both multiple times so I think they're a good investment in keeping with typical AG quality. Fellow petites, these trump the Stevie Ankle! I believe they're a genuine petite cut - not only is the hem shorter but the overall fit is tailored down and slimmer at the knee and opening. I'm 5'2" so these may be a tad short for taller petites. Note that the blue color way feels softer than the grey, but the grey is also a perfect neutral. Highly recommend these jeans and only wish that Anthro carried petite sizes in stores so that other petites could try them on.

    Classic Anthropologie
This top is so chic and absolutely stunning. The funnel top neckline is oh so flattering. From the photos I thought that the flower would be thicker and stand on top of the body of the sweater (if that makes sense) but it's flush with the rest of the material. This is classic Anthropologie and reminds me of why I shop there...a truly unique piece. It has me excited that the weather will be cold next week so I can wear it immediately. It's hard to tell the sleeve length from the model shot but they are bracelet length...longer than a 3/4 sleeve but shorter than a full length. And it's a bit of a bell sleeve...gets wider towards the end of the sleeve. I can't say how excited I am that this was included in the 20% off promo and I predict this sells out. For reference, I'm 5'5" 123lbs and a 34D and went with my normal XS. Get it while it's hot!

Not for Broad Shoulders, but What a Unique Sweater
So soft, so unique, and, yet, not so good for broad shoulders. The front pattern with the flower detail, somehow eloganted the top so you almost don't notice it. But when you turn to the back, the pattern without something to break it up, emphasizes a large back and broad shoulders. FYI: Broad shoulders/back, short waist, 36C - I tried on my usual size M, and it fit perfectly. I normally wear a 10 on top and a 4/6 on bottom. The fabric is very soft, but I just cannot get past the view from the back. I have a short waist, and the top fell just to my high hip. If you were longer in the waist or much taller, this top would probably be a bit cropped. For me, though, the sweater falls just as you see on the model in the photo. Too bad for me, but a wonderful top for those that can wear it.

Chic Winter Sweater Will Become Your Favorite
I bought this gem for myself while holiday shopping and I cannot get enough of it. I have received so many compliments. Very soft and good quality. The flower design is beautiful. I would size down though if you purchase this. I feel it runs a little big. Love it all the same.

    Pretty Pattern
Contrary to other reviewers i feel the arm size is perfect, if not a bit large. I wear this top tucked in, and it does wrinkle at the bottom where it's tucked as the other reviewer complained, but since it's tucked you can't see that anyways. Wrinkling on the rest of the top during the day is not an issue. Also I don't see what people are saying about the back hem being cut abnormally shorter than the front? Mine does not have this issue at all. However there are very deep slits on the sides that do make tucking difficult because they go above the belt line about an inch. In agreement with others the fall leaf floral pattern is really stinkin' cute! It is cut very deep in the neck and I wear with a colorful tank otherwise it's guaranteed to flash people. Also the tank helps skin not show on the sides in that inch above the belt line where the side slits go up too far. The rayon makes this really flowy and soft. :) fits TTS

    Beautiful, Versatile Top
I fell in love with this top the minute I opened the box. It is soft and comfy, machine washable, and looks great with business attire or jeans. I highly recommend it.

    Love the Colors!
I bought this shirt in both red and blue. The colors/patterns are fantastic. The red is in not a pure cherry red, it has a bit of orange tone to it, which I like. The shirt is soft and hangs nice when tucked in (no bulge that some shirts have when tucked). I have only worn each of them once so i can't speak to the longevity after cleaning. I only wish the v-neck wasn't quite so deep. It is as pictured, but I like to show a little less in the workplace. It seems to fit true to size. I usually where a small or extra small at anthro and the size 6 fits me well. Overall I love both of them!

    Embroidered Inspiration
This blouse is lovely in person. The appealing design overall and quality of the embroidery are standouts. The navy bands are part of the 100% cotton print, not separate pieces; I wasn't sure with just viewing online. The designers are talented in their vision here: sizing, colors, textures. It is refreshing not to need a cami for modesty. I bought the medium and am a size 8 top (34F); the sleeves are bracelet length when arms down and 3/4 when I lift them.; in other words, a flattering, useful length. This could go anywhere, and you will feel well-dressed. The workmanship seems very skillful, a work of art.

    great details
Love this top, usually not a fan of designs/patterns. True to size, comfortable and great detail on the bib. I've written a bad review for a previous shirt I purchased from anthro, but I love this top.

    Worth the wait!
LOVE this top! Agree with other reviewers that this top is even more stunning in person. I was so bummed when I initially saw it sold out online and the online representative stated there would be no more (looks like plenty available now). So, thanks to the Soho review, I was able to order from them directly. I went with a M in the top although I purchased a few of this brand in S over the summer. I am broad shouldered and the S was just a tad tight in the back and in the arms. I didn't find the M too flowy- just right!
