Don't let this one get away
I had no intention of buying this dress at full price - but I shouldn't have tried it on. It fits really well! I like the unique styling on the top - how it covers your shoulders rather than just being a "tank-styled" top. The style of the top was a little different on all size S in my store - the center piece of the bodice was mainly navy with a small green spot or spots. It didn't bother me too much though. At 5'5", the regular length will require that I wear heels, which is unfortunate, but I think the P would be too short if it's "perfect" for one of the other reviewers, who is 5'3". The empire waist of this dress hides a few sins, without being frumpy and without looking like it's doing any hiding. There is a nice flow to the skirt. The lining only comes to my knees - which was a little distracting but not enough to dissuade me from purchasing the dress. The colors are very vibrant - and I think this dress looks way better in person than it does on the model (and how many times can you say that??). The fact that the dress is washable was a must in my book - hopefully it holds up in the gentle cycle.

    My Favorite Maxi Dress
I adored this dress from the first moment I saw it online, but held off because of the price. Once I saw the spring dress sale, I jumped online and ordered it right away. Unfortunately by the time I ordered, the petite sizes were sold out. After reading the other reviews, I knew the regular sizing would be a little too long, but I went ahead and ordered the Regular XS. I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs and the Regular XS fits perfectly other than the length. I'll probably get 3/4 inches hemmed so I can wear it with flat sandals, but I don't regret the purchase one bit. The pattern is more vibrant in person, which I love. The dress is flowy, amazingly soft and incredibly well-made. The shape & cut could not be more flattering. Great purchase, especially if the petite sizes come back in stock.

    Beautiful maxi!
lovely print in a very slimming design. The panel at the top is essential to keep from being overexposed. Fit is TTS and the length is a bit longer than I expected. I'm 5'2" and the XXSP just touches the floor, so I will need a small heel. The pattern does not match up at the sides, but it's fairly close, and close enough to not be obvious. The waist band slims the bodice and makes the dress look so sleek. Jersey fabric is very stretchy so you may be able to size down if you are small busted. I think any body type could wear this and look fantastic.

    Fun and Edgy
Gotta say I didn't recognize this online when I went looking to write a review. I almost passed it up in the store, as well, but it was facing the dressing room, I loved the "tribal" influence, and on a whim grabbed it "just to see". Big surprise how unique and flattering this is. On me it's a dress (5'1" 115 32DD) took the PXS/S and I plan to wear it that way with tights and booties. The front hit just above my knee with a slightly longer back. The top is not as loose on me as on the model and the bottom curves in slightly keeping it from being totally straight and shapeless. Will look great with the long two toned horn earrrings I bought at Athro last summer. Can't imagine it with boyfriend jeans, although it would probably be fine with skinnies. Although I usually look best in fit and flair, as I'm petite, but hourglass, I'm thrilled with this new look for me. Plan to wear it year 'round.

    Soft and beautiful
Incredibly comfortable and flattering. I am 32DD, 5' 1" and usually wear a 2 or 4 petite. I ordered the petite XS/S. Although it is a loose fit, it has shape and is very flattering. It hits a couple of inches above my knees. The neckline is not quite as low as it shows on the model. Something that is difficult to see in the pictures, it has a lengthening vertical stripe in the fabric, and the pattern is beige, not white. The sleeves are snug enough to push up, and the material is soft, like your favorite nightgown. It is unlined. I will wear this with tights and boots or shooties.

    Another winner by Tracy Reese!
I wasn't sure about this tunic/dress when I saw it online, but in person the shading and design is so unique and eye-catching, you find yourself picking it up! The super soft fabric blend has spandex which makes this dress feel so good on as well. Because of the reviews I originally got a small thinking that as a petite person the dress would be overwhelming. But, I found the sleeves were super tight, so I sized back to my usual medium, and the dress fits very nicely. I say dress, because at 5'3 the front is only slightly above the knees. I also have good skimming coverage over my chest and hips, unlike the smaller size which was too exact. Feels like I'm wearing a big sweatshirt, except it looks so chic! Pair with a low ankle bootie and leggings or bare legs in warmer areas.

I thought that I had found a pair of jeans that I loved when I found the Abercrombie jeans 5 years ago. They fit nice, albeit a little tight in the legs, but were very soft and comfortable. But now that I've essentially outgrown their demographic, I thought I'd try a new pair of jeans. I've been wearing the pilco stet's for a while, and they were nice (and 19.95 in clearance!) but they weren't a perfect fit. So I tried some ag jeans on in store the other day, only I wasn't ready to pay 213$ for them. So when I found this pair in clearance, I was over joyed! They fit perfectly, which is amazing seeing as if jeans fit my legs, they are always too loose in the waist (years of being a back catcher made my thighs slightly disproportionally thick). These jeans wash up amazingly, and they don't stretch out. I'm not usually one to wear jeans multiple times before washing, but I was running late and threw these on, and they looked as good on day two as they did day one. I can't wait to run out and grab another pair. I would highly recommend these jeans!

    A closet staple
I have often favored other brands of high end jeans (always on sale!), but had never tried on AG jeans until one day when I was perusing the Anthro sale room and stumbled across some. I have been on the hunt for a "normal" wash pair of AG jeans on sale ever since. I am slender and moderately tall (5'7'), but have a rounder rear. These jeans (in Landing) hug my figure without lookiing or feeling too tight. Length is typically a problem for me too; I have a pretty long waist which means sometimes full-length jeans are a bit longer on me than I prefer. These hit right where they should and also look great cuffed as well. They're also lightweight enough to wear throughout most of the year, even in my midwest/south region. Like another reviewer, I would put an asterick on the 5 star rating due to the price (though the sale price helps).

    Perfect for petites!
Thank you Anthro and AG for offering the classic Stevie in petite sizes! I love the regular Stevie cut but have always had to scrunch and roll up the hem so during the recent free shipping promotion, I ordered the petite version in both grey and blue in 25P (I'm usually a size 25), thinking I would try them on for size but keep only one pair given the high price. The fit is so perfect and flattering, and it's so hard to find such well fitting jeans, I decided to splurge and keep both pairs. I've already worn them both multiple times so I think they're a good investment in keeping with typical AG quality. Fellow petites, these trump the Stevie Ankle! I believe they're a genuine petite cut - not only is the hem shorter but the overall fit is tailored down and slimmer at the knee and opening. I'm 5'2" so these may be a tad short for taller petites. Note that the blue color way feels softer than the grey, but the grey is also a perfect neutral. Highly recommend these jeans and only wish that Anthro carried petite sizes in stores so that other petites could try them on.

    Favorite tee!
I love this shirt. I have it in gray & white. It's cut a bit large but does shrink a bit in the wash. I bought the gray in XL (my usual Anthro size) & it's very big. I then bought the white in an Petite LG. It fits better. It's is soft & comfy; I want to wear it to bed every night (but I don't because I do t want to mess it up)! I'm thinking about getting it in blue.

Had to have it in TWO colors!
I first saw this online and loved the pink color. By the time I finally got to one of my Anthro stores the only size left in pink was a S. Since most Anthro tops run small I usually buy mediums, but I have a few small and extra-smalls in my closet, so I tried the small on. Many reviews I'd read said it ran big and the sleeves were long. They were right. Altho I loved the length in the front, it was really full in back and I had to turn up the sleeves several times. But I wanted it so much I bought the small and ordered the XS before I left. When the XS arrived I could see it was a better fit, altho I had to get used to it being shorter in front, the way it fits the model in the photo. The sleeves fit right at my wrist and the back no longer looked like a billowing sail. Of course, when I went back to my store to return the Small, I came home with the blue one (also an XS)!! The blue is a lovely shade of sky. A cami might be worn right now for warmth, but isn't needed, as these are not see-through. Should be pretty in spring with white skinny pants. I plan on wearing them casually with skinny jeans, then dressing them up for an evening out.

    Great Top!
I love the brand left of center. All of their tops are super comfy, have great details and are cut really well. They also wash like a dream. I still wear left of center tops I bought YEARS ago! I ended up getting two colors in this top. The details are amazing. The front is a cozy kind of thermal and the back is a clean and little more dressed up blouse material. It is extremely comfy while still very stylish. I got true to size and the arms have stretched a bit. Its very much a swing shape, so more petite girls can definitely size down! Highly recommend!

    Great Basic!
I saw this top on-line and I decided I had to have it! I wanted to try it on because in tops that run a little more baggy, I tend to size down. I'm between a small and medium and I went with the small in this top. I wear a 34D, 27 waist and usually an 8 in pants. Also, I was worried that if I went with the small it would be too small around my hip/butt area since it's pretty long and that it might be tight in the arms too but it wasn't at all! Also this is a great lightweight tee without being paper thin and hole/snag prone. It seems to be a great quality item. I bought two and plan to pick up a couple more colors in the near future!

    Great basic. Buy two.
I got this in Dark Blue with the intention of wearing it under a long cardigan. It looks great with that, and alone. Easy-stylish... throw on with a necklace and skinnies, or leggings. It's a nice medium weight (not too heavy/thick, not too thin/sheer)...Fabric is soft, with a bit of dressiness to it (so it's not just a cotton basic). /Neckline is flattering shape, but not too high or too low. I appreciate that the sleeves are not 3/4 length-- full length is difficult to find these days. Garment is well made and worth the price (although the price is not insane, so that's a good thing). I wish it was maybe an inch or two shorter, but I also like it as-is just fine, too, where I still want a 2nd color and will probably get one soon. You might want to consider petite size if 5'4." I usually have issues finding tops that are long enough with a long torso, so I'm not going to complain! This is definitely a tunic length, though, just for reference. I'm 5'6", 34A, 125, no hips, but a bit of tummy fluff(which doesn't show in this top). I most often wear a Small, but I sometimes go between either S or XS, depending on the brand and cut. XS is still flowy enough on me, but the amount of fabric on the small was just fine too-- wasn't overwhelming and didn't feel like I was drowning. The XS was my preference because of where the shoulder stitches hit.

    Incredibly comfortable, soft, and stylish
Beautiful fabric and great length. I am 5'8'' and this is a great length that is long enough to wear as a tunic, and drapes very well. I bought it in black and light blue. Now ordering a second, black one, so I'm never without this top. Perfect for work and the weekend.

After hunting for the perfect culottes for months, these exceeded my all my hopes! At 5' 7" and lean, these fit a scoche below mid-calf and have wide legs, but not sooo wide that they're weird. Just perfect. The high and wide waist paired with pleats in the back make for versatility I hadn't predicted! They can be paired with a slinky blouse tucked in and high heels, or a casual t-shirt untucked and sneakers. A slim tank and gladiators?! They're just incredibly versatile and adorable on. They do run a bit big, and it's likely safe to go down a size depending on how much booty you have going on... I've got enough that after testing them out sitting down, I opted to stick with my standard size, because the smaller did tend to creep a bit. That factor was no doubt also driven by the fact that I'm very long waisted, so the pants sit especially high on me, shortening the fit of the rise. They're also machine washable. And linen. So let's be honest... they're going to shrink a little. Another reason I opted to stick with my standard size. If you can, I'd vote for trying on multiple sizes in a store if you're able. And don't wait... these are so cute you'll be kicking yourself if they sell out before you get them! I've owned my black pair for less than 24 hours, and I've already decided I'm going to buy them in the tan. They're just going to be hard working staples in my wardrobe this year!

    Sad that petites sold out
At 5'3" the petites would have been perfect, but as usual they were sold out :( I got the regular in my usual pants size, but will need the bottom hemmed.

    love the design
Very flattering pants. I love the design and am thrilled to find these. I don't find the fabric to be scratchy as some reviewers do, but I do think they would look better in a polished cotton or lighter weight fabric that would hold it's shape, but drape a bit more than this fabric does. It's a LOT of fabric. Still, the design is so great it works even in this stiff, structured looking fabric. these run large. I am 5'3" 125 pounds and the regular size 2 fit, but had too much fabric in the legs to be flattering and were too long. I am only marginally a petite size and I thought the petite 2 would be too short in the rise, but it was perfect. If you are only sometimes a petite size, don't be afraid to try the petite in these.

    Petites run very short-waisted
I first fell in love with this dress in the catalog shot and tried on my usual size 2 in store, but it was clearly too big in the bust and long in the shoulders. This problem is typical for me as a petite--5'2", straight and athletic figure--so I ordered the 2P. Unfortunately, the petite size is tight in the waist (where I'm proportionally larger) and noticeably short-waisted. I actually am short-waisted myself, albeit with a long torso, but the petite dress's waistline hit above my high natural waist. Combined with the shorter length, it felt childish and babydoll-like. To get the right fit I'd have to purchase the size 2 and get it professionally altered, so I'll wait for sale. A few other notes about the dress itself: every dress has a slightly different pattern layout, and in most of them the dot centered on the v-neck is NOT centered (i.e. like the model shots but not like the perfect catalog shot). Also, there are pockets hidden in the front where the two different pattterns meet in the skirt, not on the side seam as I initially expected.

I saw this dress on line and thought it was cute but didn't specifically go to try it on. When I saw it in the store, the vibrant colors and unique pattern caught my eye. I tried on a 6 and it looked adorable, very flattering, but the top was huge on me. I went down to a 4 and the top was a little tight but not uncomfortable or tugging. The stiff fabric isn't extremely comfortable but makes for a very flattering g fit. The neckline is not to low either. I can't wait to wear this dress! My new favorite.

Size reference: 5'1, 125 lbs, 26 1/2 inch waist, short waisted, petite build Size ordered: 0 regular I absolutely adore this dress!!! The 0 fit perfectly in the waist and bust, and the length was right at my knees. The side panels create a flattering sliming effect, and the material is a crisp cotton. The pockets are right in the front, which is a little odd, but it's totally ok. The skirt is puffy, but in a playful way. I can't wait for summer!
