I was looking for a dress for a bridal shower and I absolutely fell in love with this one. As my mom said, it's not my "typical style" because it's so structured, on the more modest side, and I don't know... Blair Waldorf-y. Most aspects of it are things that I would not typically go for in a dress, but I had to have it. It makes me feel like a fancy lady with her life together/a princess. It is also very flattering. My very favorite part about it has to be the skirt part. It's AH-MAZINGGGG looking and makes you want to twirl around in it for the rest of your life while baking pies or something. In summary, I would definitely recommend.
I am 5'6", 140 lbs and I got a 6.
(I also typically hate that kind of sleeve because I think it looks like I'm wearing a muscle tee... but that did not bother me with this dress.)
So I was freaking out because tomorrow I'm attending a "celebration of life" party (Like an anti-funeral, it's like a remembering happy times with the people who've passed away).
Obviously I freaked out because I ignore the dress code for these ocassions since Ive never attended a 'Celebration' like this and my boyfriend wasn't being very helpful (It's his grandma's celebration of life). Friday night, still no idea and just at the very last moment before I left the changing room THERE IT WAS.
Solemn yet subtly feminine, figure flattering, super comfortable fabric and fun to wear....
Can't get more pefect than this!!
I am so in love with this dress. I snagged a petite size 0 on Anthro Day and I am so glad I splurged! I am not the biggest fan of neoprene for clothing, but this far exceeded my expectations. The material is very soft and swingy, and fairly lightweight (considering neoprene is pretty weighty). I am 5"3 and the length is perfect, hitting just a few inches above the knee. I also love that it has pockets! I do wish that this dress was lined, as the seam at the waist can be slightly itchy, but I can easily overlook this because the design of the dress is so beautiful. I can't wait to wear this for my wedding rehearsal dinner in May!

I received this dress yesterday in the mail, and I love it! I know the other review says it's not your classic sheath, and this is true; however, after looking the dress over top to bottom before I ordered it, the whole reason I got it was because of the noticeable pleating in the back. I wanted something with a little flow. It looks nice and slim fitting when you're standing; but when you move and sit, you have some freedom (best of both worlds I think). The material is very soft, definitely not structured to hide imperfections if you're concerned about the mid-drift area. But the print is not overbearing, the material is gorgeous, the fit is TTS, and the petite fell to the perfect length. I've had to hem petite dresses in length sometimes, but this dress was cut as if it were made for me. I highly recommend this dress if you're looking to play on the feminine side, without having a floral print that ages you drastically.
Pretty and Feminine Dress
I ordered this dress on a sale and I was very happy with it! The dress fit very nicely. Even though the material is thin and a bit see-through, it still has a flattering effect. It also accentuates the shoulders, which gives it a little sexy edge. The colors are a little more muted in real life, so the floral look is downplayed, yet feminine. The material does not seem to wrinkle.
I am about 5'7" and 120 lbs. I usually wear x-small in Anthropologie dresses but ordered an x-small petite. I have a 32-inch bust so it was perfect there, and I wanted the length to hit me at the knee versus below. Great to wear with heels for church, a performance, party, etc. I would recommend this dress for a classic, feminine look!
The picture is deceiving. I thought this was a shift that I could wear to work. It is a dressier dress, made from chiffon. It is very sheer, though it is lined. It is pretty, but a big fragile. It is not as flattering on as it is in the picture. Pretty print. Going back.
