    Perfection…and, yes, size down.
This dress fit me like a glove. I'm not alone, either - check out the rave reviews posted by women of all ages, shapes and sizes! I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 34D, very short-waisted and athletic but curvy. I am normally a size 6, but finally settled on the size 4 regular after trying the 6P. It hits about 2-3 inches below my knees, which is both flattering and a pleasant alternative to my other dresses, which are either mini or full-length. The smaller size just feels better and I think the closer fit helps the lace detail pop a bit more. The nude colored slip/lining also alleviated any modesty issues I had with respect to the "peekaboo" detailing throughout the bodice. It might look like you're showing a lot of skin, but it certainly doesn't feel like it once you're wearing it. It's classy and it's sexy, which is usually more than you can ask of a dress at this price point. Bonus: my flesh-colored bra is virtually undetectable, which is key given my cup size and the fact that I have 2 young kids.

    So Beautiful!
Purchased this for mine and my husband's first date night post baby/wedding anniversary and simply felt sexy while wearing it.

    True to size
I am 5 ft 2" and weigh around 103 lbs. I decided to try for a 0P according to the sizing chart. I would say that the measurements are true to size though that wasn't exactly a good thing for me. The waist and hips fit perfectly but because I'm small-chested (70B), there is substantial room at the chest and the dress looks a little wrinkled there :( This was quite upsetting for me since the pattern at the chest is one of the dress' unique features. The dress just covers my knee caps and will look really flattering if only my chest was a little fuller. Nonetheless, I will probably still keep it - that's what maximizers are for. :) The quality of the dress is good and there is a slight stretch to the skirt so climbing stairs/ getting out of car etc shouldn't a problem. The hooks in front do come off quite easily and I am quite sure there will be skirt wrinkles after sitting down for long.. I love the dress in ivory and plan to wear it on my wedding day for a casual reception.

    A masterpiece!
Why, oh WHY did this have to arrive just in time for Christmas? LOL I saw this astonishing dress just after my Carismma Sheath dress, in black, arrived. At first I thought this version was too close, but irl, it's in a class of it's own. You can barely tell from the photo, but the fabric on the bodice and skirt are different. The top has tiny circles with dots of red. The placket is also a different pattern, but instead of the hot mess I expected, the whole thing works to make you look like the most stunning creature in the room. Very, very flattering on most body types, but I'd dare say especially on the hourglass girl. This is the dress I would wear to dinner, to weddings, to business meetings with a jacket, to tea, to lunch with the girls, where wouldn't I wear this? Fit is tts, much like the Carismma sheath. I pray that it doesn't sell out before I can get my hands on one! Or, maybe, just maybe, it will show up under the tree!

    Simply Gorgeous
I have admired this dress forever and when I received a birthday discount code I decided to give it a try. I am not disappointed. The dress is beautiful...a classic! It is also seasonless as I will be wearing it to a spring event with nude pumps. It is well-made and the pictures do not show the intricate details in the design and materials of the dress.

    Even better than I hoped!
I visited this dress many times on the website, hoping it would go on sale, but finally decided to bit the bullet and pay full price. Prior reviews listed its unique detail and surprises that made this dress a conversation piece (and why I love Anthropologie!) and it didn't disappoint! It is form fitting and sexy in a smart-girl way, but it also possesses an artistic/couture quality that renders it timeless. I am 5'6 and a 35" bust/128 lbs and went with the 4p, as I prefer the hem to hit me at or above the knee. The fabric has stretch, which allows it to fit to your body, not bulge and buckle as a stiff fabric would do. I also cut the belt loops and moved belt/ribbon down so it would hit my waist, as the petite waist was higher- no problem at all. I am SOOO happy I splurged and know this will be a 'go to' dress for years to come.

    Gorgeous, versatile dress.
I have been a long-time admirer of Anthropologie, but this is my first purchase. I love it so much, and can see myself wearing it to versatile occasions: a late summer wedding, a date on the boardwalk, the farmer's market, or even work with the right cardigan. The print is a bit more bold than what I usually wear, but the soft, earthy colours appeal to me. I'm a small/size 4 on top, and a 6 to 8 on bottoms. In dresses, I'm a 4 or 6. The hips on this dress are free, so I sized down to a 4. The sales clerk told me this dress was basically made for me (which was very sweet), but to be honestly I think it will be flattering on many shapes and sizes. I really love that the banding around the waist negates the need for a belt. My only wee concern is that the dress is polyester, and therefore won't breath as well as a natural fiber in the summer. However, I hope the flow of the skirt will still allow this to be comfortable on even the hottest day.

    Flattering + Gorgeous gown
I would have never, in a million years, have picked this dress for myself. I was desperately trying on every dress in the store, looking for something to wear to my brothers wedding. This was last on the hook, and once I tried it on, my jaw dropped at what I saw in the mirror. The fit is impeccable (once I went up a size) and I looked long, lean, and lovely. Fit info: I'm normally a size 4 at Anthro. Size 34C bra. This was snug in the boobie area and because I can't really wear a normal bra with this one, I went up to a size 6 in this dress so I can wear some of those stick on boobie lifter things or a strapless bra giving me some lift to my 2 kid having body. The waist still fits nicely even though now there is a bit of give in the top.

    Beautiful dress, high-quality fabric
I purchased this dress to wear to a spring gala, and I am so pleased. I tend to shy away from prints, especially when dressing up, but this one is so beautiful, and the clean, classic lines of this dress offset the boldness of the print. The fabric is even more stunning in person than in the photo, and the fit is very flattering. I am 5'6" and 114 lbs. and I purchased a size 2. It is slightly large in the shoulders, but the fit through the hips is perfect, so I don't think I would want to go down to a size 0. I plan on wearing this with silver peep-toe pumps and simple, dangly earrings. My only complaint is that it had a very strong smell (of fabric dyes, I think), when I took it out of the package. I am hoping this will dissipate after a few days of letting it air out on a hanger, outside of the closet.

This dress is a perfect fit (ordered the OP size) with a flattering length (not too short but not dowdy for this 55+ y.o.). The botanical print is stunning and the colors are vibrant (not too busy or overpowering for a shorter person, as would be expected). The bonus is the fabric which has a matte sheen, like Shantung silk, making the dress even more stunning.

I haven't purchased from anthropologie for several years because the quality of the fabric used in clothing had deteriorated. I am pleased to say this dress is gorgeous, the fabric is of a good quality, the design is lovely and the colors are striking. I am 5' 3.5" and weigh 123 lbs. I purchased a petite size 6P and the fit is perfect. I hope serious consideration will be given to continually provide clothing made from quality fabric? This purchase is an encouraging sign.

Wow, I am in love with this dress! I ordered a 2P and 4P. I am kind of in betweem these sizes, so I ordered both. The 4Petite fit more like a 2Petite, so I would say it runs a little small through the shoulders and chest. The 2P was a lot shorter waisted than the 4P, to where the sash cam right up under my breasts. Not at all how it looks on the model. I am 5'4" and the petite length was perfect. It hit me right about where the regular dress hits the model in the pictures. The detail in the pearls and diamonds is so beautiful. I cannot wait to wear this dress and would recommend it highly. I think it could be flattering on many different body types.

    Stunning in person
I love this dress. That said it is EXCEEDINGLY long - i am going to have to have it hemmed and i am 5'10 and tried it on with a crazy pair of Brian Atwood platform heels - and STILL it was too long - that said it will be gorgeous hemmed - it is so bright and the bandeau is so unique and pretty - I have a colorful arm tattoo so for me the dress is a beautiful way to accent the colors. I really love it and the lined linen falls beautifully. I have an average chest and because of the embroidered top and the fit i do not think i will need any more support that the dress provides if you worry about having to wear a bra with the lines of the dress.

    In Love!
I have been eyeing this dress online, which shocked both me and my husband as I am a girl who HATES sequins. I don't know what it is about this dress that drew me into it, but it did! Since I do hate sequins, I didn't want to order this dress at the full price, so thankfully the dress sale event happened. This dress is even more gorgeous in person, but beware - it is NOT a fitted dress. It is a straight up and down dress, so you must have some sort of curves to make this dress work (either slightly busty or curvy in the hips). Ordinarily you could belt a dress to give it shape, but I don't think this one would look very good with a belt - plus, you'd run the risk of messing up the sequins. For reference, I am 5'2". 34C, 140lbs., and I ordered the size 6. I had plenty of room in the dress (it thankfully was not snug in the stomach area), but I do think the 4 would have been too small for me.
