I agree with the previous reviewer that this dress runs small on top. Size up.
I'm 5'2", currently a 30D/32C, 33-24.5-~37 with narrow shoulders and ribcage. Often the size XS regular dresses at Anthro are too large for me on top, but the XS fit me almost perfectly and was just a few inches too long while wearing my flat boots. I have a longish waist and the seam hit just below the narrowest part of my waist - you can see a bit of the extra fabric in the one photo. True petites shorter than me may do better with petite sizes for the waist seam placement. I would say the top portion fits like the Larksong Corduroy Dress in 0, and the Painted Plaid dress in 0 by Corey Lyn Calter.
This dress felt so comfortable on. The silk crepe is substantial, not so thin that it will snag or wrinkle by just putting it on. Hidden zipper in back. There is a stretchy poly lining that goes from the bodice to about the knee, but I don't think it is even needed. There is a slit one one side only...to the knee. About 5 or 6 gores make the skirt flare from the waist seam without adding bulk. Looks great while walking. I think the pattern placement may be a bit different with each dress, but as this isn't a symmetrical pattern it shouldn't matter too much. Worth full price for me.

Elegant silk maxi
I just wore this dress to Easter and felt elegant and beautiful (I also received many compliments). I am 5'9 and got a large, which was perfect because this dress is tight across the chest. People that are short will definitely have to shorten the dress, but it fits perfectly for me whether wearing flats or heels. I definitely recommend this dress. It looks classy yet effortless at the same time. I know I will get a lot of use out of it.

I bought this dress for an upcoming wedding and I am anxiously awaiting my chance to wear it. The fabric is lovely and the print is rendered beautifully. It does run a bit small, particularly across the rib cage and shoulders, but some slight tailoring or shape wear will solve this problem easily.
I picked this dress off the rack on a whim, looking for a dress for our family photos. I've always adored lace dresses but have never been able to find one that's both comfortable and flattering. I'm short and curvy and wasn't sure how a straight dress would look on me. It's perfect. It'll be just the right length with heels and because it runs just slightly large, I can wear a medium because I prefer a more fitted look. I love that the sleeves cover my arms a little bit and the slits on the side are perfect. Love, love, love it.

Lovely summer option
The photo here makes this dress look slightly like a window curtain, but I swear it's much more flattering in person. I tried this on in store after seeing it on display. This dress would be great for concerts/festivals, traveling and general casual use. Depending on your office environment, I could also see this as work appropriate if styled correctly.
The good: The dress is super comfortable, true to size, leaning toward a more relaxed fit. The color is a lovely shade of warm ivory and the lace is quite pretty, in my opinion. I also love the shorter chemise/slip and longer outer layer. It makes the dress modest without being old ladyish
The bad: The dress is way too long. I'm 5'6' and this dragged on the floor for me in a medium. However, when styled with a more substantial leather belt, you can blouse the top a tad and take off a few inches there. (Warning: This also makes the slip shorter so take that into account when determining sizing). Also, the belt it comes with is pretty much useless. If you are petite, or even just shorter than 5'6, the length on this dress might be an issue for you.
Overall, I would recommend this, but definitely ditch the attached string belt and use a more structured accessory instead.

Beautiful and comfortable
5'6, 140lbs, curvy frame - S fit perfectly
Received tons of compliments. A little bit, I feel like I'm about to get married on a beach, but some chunky wooden jewelry fixes that.
Love how the inner lining cuts off at the knee.
I LOVE this dress and highly recommend it. I've worn it as a guest to a wedding and received a ton of compliments on it. The material is soft and comfortable and looks very high quality. The dress is simple - which I love - yet elegant. It drapes well and is flattering, although it's cut in more of a straight line. I agree with the other reviewers in that it runs a little large. I'll likely need to take the hem up a bit, but wore higher heels to make up for it for the first wear. I normally wear a size 4-6, and I ordered a small.

I purchased this in the store on April 9th for a trip to Tahiti. The material is beautiful and so is the dress. The only negative is that I have to take in the waist of the dress because it just falls straight and could look so much better with that adjustment. All in all, that's still worth it to have such a unique dress for the summer. Highly recommend. Also runs large - I am a size 4-6 and purchased an XS.
This dress is gorgeous. I purchased it for my rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding since it is a cook out with casual dress. This is perfect, so visually interesting with the texture, beautiful finishing details. I am short so a purchased the petite and I am so glad I did! The length and fit are both perfect. I cannot wait to wear this!!!

This is not your typical white dress. The texture of the dress is what drew me to it initially and I had to give it a try.
I took my usual size 6 and it fits perfectly.
Where do I start with so many pros?
• The fabric isn't delicate.
•The underlay is long enough to be modest and is also smooth to the skin.
• The V back creates a lovely silhouette
•The A line cut is so flattering to the body.
• Most importantly it's so versatile, I tried it with a Pilcro denim jacket and a few long necklaces. Perfection.
This will be your go to dress for several occasions.

I tried this one on in the store today and LOVED it, and would have walked away with it but it was 3 inches too short. This would be perfect on someone about 5'8. It's sexy on, but comfortable at the same time! Can't go wrong with that.
This dress is amazing quality and better in person that on the website and better than on the hanger. It is heavy fabric and the detail is beautiful. It is fitted in the bodice and flowing down from the waist down. I tried it on in the store and all the other people in the dressing room and sales people loved it. Two others went to try it on as well. It is perfect for summer and to wear for a bride at her bridal shower. The model must be very thin and does not fill in the dress well to really see the fit and style.

Perfect White Dress
I tried this on at an Anthro store with a floppy straw hat and got lots of compliments from other customers. Expensive for a simple, white summer dress, but well worth it. Looks simple on the hanger, but looks amazing on.
I'm 5'6", 135 lbs ... I purchased a size 4.
Beautiful dress and fabric! However the fabric is cut different on every dress so the one I received today looks completely different than the photos. The way the fabric was cut for my dress is really unflattering and not symmetrical like the model. I ordered a Medium and am usually a size 10 anthro dress size and it fit well but will probably return because of how the fabric was cut. Was looking forward to wearing it to the beach but I know Anthro has something else!

Gorgeous dress, soft high quality fabric and bright saturated colors. Very flattering cut out in back, highlights a good area instead of love handles. Had to return because it was a little too small and made me look extremely busty. Ordered a large. However, loved it and recommend!
Let me be the first to review this beautiful dress. I always look for reviews before I purchase to get the low down on sizing, etc, but had to go ahead and purchase this without that helpful information. The dress is just what I was looking for. It has the feeling of a 1920's or 30's fine antique including the details to trim and embellishment. Although it is not silk, it has the feel of a crepe silk chiffon. I love the way it looks on. It has a modern drape which is very flattering as well as loose enough to be incredibly comfortable. There is an under slip that is cut closer to the body so there is some nice silhouette when backed by light. I usually wear a size 8 but sometimes a 10 depending on the designer. This dress fits me perfectly but I wouldn't want it to be any smaller. One word of caution is the fabric will snag easily. Will be necessary to keep all abrasive and sharp surfaces away from it. Anything like velcro or abrasive jewelry will ruin the surface and being it's color and texture all snags will definitely show. I will be wearing it to a summer wedding with a pair of flat sandals and plan on being absolutely comfortable. Very pleased.
