I bought this dress for a special event and absolutely love it. It's flattering, chic, comfortable, and very unique. I also like how versatile it is-- it can be dressed up with heels (which looks romantic and sexy) or dressed down with tights and boots (which looks edgy).
I'm on the shorter side (5' 2" and 120 lbs) and usually wear a 4 in pants and XS in tops. Because so many of the reviews from my petite comrades said this dress was overwhelming on a small frame I bought it in a petite 0. It fits perfectly, so I would definitely size down.
I think it's worth sharing that, though I wasn't bothered by it, the yellow in the website pictures is closer to a mild lime green in person. I still think it's lovely but could see how someone looking for something on the more classic side wouldn't be into it.

The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful dress. I had ignored it online, but as soon as I saw it in person I decided to try it on, even though I suspected the shape would not work with my body. The butterfly/moth pattern is unusual and distinctive. The yellow has more green than one sees in the pictures while the cream has a distinct mint undertone, so the contrast of colors is less harsh than it might appear. The fabric, though light, has enough weight to swing, and the split pointed hems on the sleeves makes them float. The seam just beneath the shoulder blades gives the back of the dress a nice line. I agree with earlier reviewers that the dress is tight across the chest, so bustier ladies might want to size up. Also, I could not get the button at the neck out of its tiny loop on either dress I tried; luckily, the neckline is wide enough that I could slide my head through. (Is this just a show button, there only to allow the slit down the top of the back?) Ultimately, I passed on this dress, because the shape--while more flattering than I thought it would be--is a little youthful for me. Younger customers should try it on!

Beautiful Silk Dress from Leifsdottir
I'm usually between an 8 & a 10, but I was happy with the 8P for this dress. The dress falls above the knee on me just as the models in the pictures. The lining has a crocheted lace on the edge which, with the silk, adds to the quality. The bell sleeves end in two points instead of one so I'm thinking I might tie them together if I wear this to work. I wear a 36C bra and I do have to be careful because the front of the dress has a tendency to pull up so that the dress ends up longer in the back. Sizing up might have alleviated this issue but the 10P was sold out at my store as well as online. The dress skims the body so it's very flattering without looking like a tent. Very versatile & it will be a great dress from fall to spring in Houston.
Well, I like a shift dress. Usually....but, this one was just too boxy for me. FYI: 5"3", broad shoulders/back, 36C, normally a 10 in a dress, but I can go down to an 8 in a dress that is not fitted in the waist. I am an 8/10 on top and a 4/6 on bottom, so I am very sensitive to a design that makes me look boxy. The fit of the 10 was a bit tight in the bust area, but the hips were just fine. But, I don't carry my weight in the hips, so...
Too bad, too, because the quality of the fabric (silk) is wonderful. The dress was a couple of inches above my knee, and that length is perfect on me for sandals in the summer. But, I couldn't get over the square in the front that, for my build, made me look like a big "square". If this dress had been made without the box design on the front, it would have been a winner, though.
If you were flat chested and had smaller shoulders, this would be a very versitile, comfortable dress for many occasions. For those that can fit this one, bravo!

Don't Pass this one up!!!
As others have said, if I had only seen this online, I would have quickly passed it up as a night shirt. HOWEVER, I saw it first in my local Anthro store and just HAD to try it on. I'm headed on an awards trip with my husband and was looking for something casual and resort-appropriate. I am pairing this with a nude pair of wedges which makes my legs look REALLY LONG! I felt the length was fun, not too short. Perhaps my height makes this dress work a little better on me than it would on others. I felt that the small fit perfectly. I am 5'10", 140lbs, 36B. Before you pass this one up, try it on--you may be pleasantly surprised!

I just received this dress, and it is beautiful and appropriate for all ages. I typically wear a medium in Anthro clothes but ordered a large so that it would hang loosely . I did the right thing. I think it is actually prettier than the picture shows.
This dress is a perfect fit (ordered the OP size) with a flattering length (not too short but not dowdy for this 55+ y.o.). The botanical print is stunning and the colors are vibrant (not too busy or overpowering for a shorter person, as would be expected). The bonus is the fabric which has a matte sheen, like Shantung silk, making the dress even more stunning.

I haven't purchased from anthropologie for several years because the quality of the fabric used in clothing had deteriorated. I am pleased to say this dress is gorgeous, the fabric is of a good quality, the design is lovely and the colors are striking. I am 5' 3.5" and weigh 123 lbs. I purchased a petite size 6P and the fit is perfect. I hope serious consideration will be given to continually provide clothing made from quality fabric? This purchase is an encouraging sign.

Received this dress yesterday and couldn't be more pleased. The gorgeous print and flattering cut make this a stand out choice. I am 5'1" and 125 pounds and purchased an 8 petite which fit perfectly. Highly recommend
I tried a size 0 and for my body type it fit me a little bigger than I would have liked. They offer them in petite sizes and ordered a petite size 0. I am hoping it will fit because it is such a beautiful dress.

I instantly fell in love with the fabric and colors the minute I opened the package. Alas, I do not like the way it fit me, the drop waist doesn't fall in the right spot and ruffle bottom accentuates my hips too much. I would have loved this as a sheath for my figure. Perfect for narrower hips, should not cling. Can use with leggings. This really is a beautiful, well made dress though, just not for me.

I'm tall but it works!
I tried this on in store and really loved it. It's supposed to be a dress, but I'm so tall that it fits more like a tunic. I tried it on with a pair of leggings and my boots and felt very comfortable, fun and flirty it in. I picture this being an outfit for a festival or outdoor concert this spring and early summer.
When I ordered this dress I was not blown away about. But I have shoes that match this dress, so I thought I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised that the dress is very cute on and flatters my curvy figure.
The dress is lined and fits TTS. I am 5'6 150lbs and the size 8 fits like a glove. The dress falls about 3 inches
maybe a tad bit more above the knee. The dress is a very thick cotton with 3% spandex. It fits very well without
being extremely tight. I love the length not to long, some of Anthros dresses are to long for me.
I got this in a size 0 and a size 2. The size 2 fits better up top but both are quite long on my small frame, I will be keeping the 2 and getting is hemmed at least 4 inches. It's a good transitional dress for spring as it can be worn as pictured or with tights, booties and a cute leather jacket on a cold day. It's a tad baggy, not super flattering unless you are tall and slender but it's still adorable. We will see if the sequins stay on okay, fingers crossed.
