This dress fit me like a glove. I'm not alone, either - check out the rave reviews posted by women of all ages, shapes and sizes!
I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 34D, very short-waisted and athletic but curvy. I am normally a size 6, but finally settled on the size 4 regular after trying the 6P. It hits about 2-3 inches below my knees, which is both flattering and a pleasant alternative to my other dresses, which are either mini or full-length. The smaller size just feels better and I think the closer fit helps the lace detail pop a bit more.
The nude colored slip/lining also alleviated any modesty issues I had with respect to the "peekaboo" detailing throughout the bodice. It might look like you're showing a lot of skin, but it certainly doesn't feel like it once you're wearing it. It's classy and it's sexy, which is usually more than you can ask of a dress at this price point. Bonus: my flesh-colored bra is virtually undetectable, which is key given my cup size and the fact that I have 2 young kids.

Like almost everyone else here, I love this dress. I love the way it looks, I love how easy it is to wear. My one complaint is that you can't move your legs around much (the bottom is a bit stiff) so if you, like me, want to wear it to a wedding and dance, it won't be super responsive. The hooks and eyes at the front are a bit of a pain but nothing unmanageable. One of the most beautiful dresses I own.

I would get married in this dress.
I went into my local Anthro store with my sister looking for something else, but saw this dress and had to "just try it on" in white. I'm normally a size 6, but there was only a 4 available in the store. I wasn't planning on purchasing, but once it was on, I didn't want to take it off. I happily paid full price, and my sister and I continued to gush about this dress the entire 20 minute drive home from the store. This dress is GORGEOUS. Even though you're completely covered, it's so figure-flattering and sexy. Definitely a head-turner. I've worn this twice and received many compliments from friends and strangers. It is expensive, but the quality is so good that I see it as an investment. It does run a bit big, so if you're in between sizes, size down. I'm sure a size 6 (if I had been patient enough to wait) would have been fine, but I liked the extra "va-va-voom" I got with the 4. I love the dress in white and am tempted to get it in another color as well!
For reference, I am 5'5", 34C, and usually a size 6.
I had high expectations prior to receiving this gorgeous dress & they were far exceeded. You can visually see the design on the website, but what you don't see is that in addition to the button closures, there's a substantive hook & eye between each button. & is double lined. I mean what craftsmanship! And so elegant! & distinctive!
I'd recommend wearing this dress anytime except summer.
I'm 5/2, 112 lbs with a slim/ahtletic build, 32C. Since I saw some reviews noting it runs large, I got the OOP (normally I'd get the 0P). It fit like a glove & hugged me in all of the right places. The petite version was too high-waisted on me, so I'm exchanging for the regular 00. This happens to me a lot. So if you're a short gal like me, but find it's better to get a regular & have things hemmed, you might opt for the regular size. But the 00 was perfect; I'll just have to get it hemmed, but that's the story of my 5'2 life!

Just Press the 'Submit Order' Button
Ok, so obviously it's hard not to notice the monthly car-payment-like price of this dress, however, that being said... It. Is. Worth. Every. Penny. At least when that repo-man comes, you will look GOOD. Seriously. I'm 30 years old, 5'6", 150 pounds and I purchased the size 8. Never before in my 30 years on this Earth have I owned an article of clothing that fit this well. It's absolutely perfect! The dress itself is clearly stunning. Perfect black dress. The buttons are darling and let you choose your level or riske. The skirt is the perfect sexy, modern length. I feel like I'm over-using the word 'perfect' here, but no other word in the English language would apply quite as well. If you're thinking about purchasing this dress, do it. Don't think about it any longer. It's inconceivable that you could possibly, in any way, regret that decision. Start babysitting. Own that lemonade stand. Whatever you do... Buy this dress. It's... Perfect.

I was so pleasently impressed with this dress. It fits in all the right places perfectly, looks tailored. Usually a size 6 I sized down to a 4, glad I did. This dress can be accessorized and worn for multiple occasions. Classic elegance.
This dress is flattering, comfy, and it looked great on me. My body type is similar to the model's in the photograph, and I don't mind that the skirt is prone to wrinkling -- I don't think it's supposed to be perfectly flat.
Wash this with CAUTION. The label says to dry clean it, but honestly Anthro says to dry clean everything and 90% of the time it's not really necessary. I'm not made of money and these fabrics usually stand up to machine washing, so I machine washed it cold and line-dried it. The fabric looked perfect after this, BUT the top 'crosswrapped' part was completely untwisted, to the point that I could not figure out how to wrap it back up. I took it back to Anthro and they ended up exchanging it since no one on staff could figure out how to rewrap it correctly. So, if you want to machine wash, use safety pins to hold the top part together. Otherwise enjoy this great dress!

My new favorite dress!
I stalked this dress for months deciding whether or not I really needed it. Obviously I eventually opted to buy, and my only regret was not getting it in both colors before it sold out online. Such a beaut and soooo comfortable! Like other reviewers said it can be dressed up and down to your liking. It will be in my closet until it falls apart. Another wonderful anthro purchase couldn't be happier.

Summery Go To
Such a perfect summer dress!
I bought the neutral which was a surprise because with my olive skin tone I'm more drawn to the navy and peaches but I just fell in love with the neutral!
I love the way the top of the dress hugs you. The material feels great against your skin and the fit is very flattering giving you a waist but having enough stretch not to cut in any weird places.
The skirt is more of a linen-y and will wrinkle but it doesn't bother me because that is the look. Also it has a shimmery fabric will looks gorgeous in the sun.
Planning on wearing it with a bright orange chunky beaded necklace and cream wedges. So excited!
fabulous dress; hangs well, flattering to a lumpy/curvy figure, except it has pockets which make it slightly lumpy in the wrong place. They are easy to sew shut and the pocket fabric cut off. Unusual coloring true to photo. Silk fabric nice, well made. there are slits down the sleeve that add interest but hide fat arms. A little hard to take off. It should have had a zipper.

I'm presently overweight and have trouble finding anything to look good (165#, 5'7''), I bought this dress in a size large, fits great and conceals my flaws. The medium was to tight and also shorter than I would like. I suppose I'm a size 12...just in denial. It falls an inch or so above the knee in size large. I like that my chubby arms are covered, and still the open side gives it a little something extra. Has a slip. The colors are true-except I can't really see the lovely medium turquoise at the top on my computer. Also can be hand washed. Can be dressed up or down. If you can grab it on a sale even better.

Great all purpose summer dress
This is a great little dress to wear with cute little flat sandals for a more casual look or a pair of heels for work. The print is lovely and brighter than pictured. The hem hits right above my knee and the fit is a little boxy so I purchased one size down (I typically wear a S or 4). I love that is made with a natural fiber fabric. Definitely worth the price. Would definitely recommend.
I also REALLY wanted to keep this dress. The material has no stretch, so you're going to want it slightly loose in order to sit down and move around in it. Measurements are 32-24.5-32.5. 5'2". 32c. I couldn't come close to zipping the XXSP, yet there was extra room in the bust. It fit everywhere else. I often size down in sheath dresses to fit my narrow hips better, but I need some stretch to the fabric in the top to accommodate my broad athletic shoulders. This dress has no stretch. Couldn't even close to get the side zip up under my left arm.
My suggestion when ordering this dress, if all of your measurements don't fit neatly into one size, is to order the size that matches your largest measurement. I am a 0p bust, 00-0p waist, and 00p hips, which translates to an XSP on top and XXSP on the bottom. I should have sized up to an XSP. It's sold out (boo!) but I'm betting on a lot of returns/ size exchanges on this dress and hope I'll be able to snag the XSP.

Wonderful summer dress!
I just wanted to chime in, because I thought this dress was adorable online, but was afraid of fit after reading reviews. Ordered anyway and am so glad I did. Really so pretty and flattering. Very cute summer date dress. I'm typically a 0 and the XS fit perfectly. No give in fabric, but I think it stretched out a tiny bit after a day of wear, and, yes, I was able to sit down comfortably and eat dinner...just wouldn't recommend if you're planning on hitting a big buffet! This dress DOES need to be a little snug to look good.

This is a chic little dress. Fits perfectly and super flattering.
It's very pink. Not red AT ALL. But even though it reminds me of Pepto, I love it and can't wait to wear it. I wish it came in other colors too - I would buy it in multiples!
Love this dress - comfy, can be dressed up or down, and as someone who always deals with bust issues I was surprised this cut worked without making me look like I was pregnant. it was actually quite flattering. my only thing is that I don't know how they are saying this is a GREY motif... it's brown!!!! straight up brown. which is fine, but it looks a little tribal so make sure that's your thing

My New Favorite Dress!
This is going to be my go-to summer dress, especially for travel. It is lightweight and flowy, yet flattering. Not see-through, and the straps are adjustable. I am usually a small/2 or 4 at Anthro, and I took the XS, so I'd say it runs a tad big. I am small in the bust, however. 5'7", 32D. Highly recommend. I got the "grey motif", which is more of a brown motif.

I'll keep it.
I received this dress, but I wonder if I had an altered version? There are no care notes and the straps are crossed in the back, unlike the pictures. I'll do the work of fixing the straps (I think they look better uncrossed), but I'm keeping it because the fabric is nice and cool for summer and the pattern and length are great!
I've been browsing for a good maxi dress this summer as I am 21 weeks pregnant, but not really big enough for maternity dresses just yet. I also wanted something I could wear post pregnancy. This dress is stunning in person! I must have browsed by this on the website 10 or so times and never noticed it. But once I saw it in the store I knew I had to have it! As others have stated, you are mainly only fitting the top as the bottom flares out. It hits right around the ankles which is perfect for wedges, sandals or flats. I love that it isn't too long so it won't drag the ground in flats. I wore this yesterday and got so many compliments! It is super comfortable and doesn't make me look large while pregnant. Very pleased with this dress.

Perfect Summer Maxi
Ordered this on a whim, mostly because it was reasonably priced and machine-washable. It's hard to tell in the image if it is going to be heavy or a thin jersey, and thankfully it falls somewhere in between. The top portion is a double-layered jersey, while the skirt portion is one layer of the same fabric (medium-weight). I'd say the colors are pretty acurrate in the image - navy and cream, and I can wear my criss-cross backed bra with this easily. Totally comfortable and very flattering. I'm more of a straight-up-and-down figure (sadly, minimal curves), and find this to actually give me a little shape where I need it. Worth the full price!

This dress is amazingly flattering and beautiful to wear. It's a nice medium weight knit that feels substantial enough to not be clingy or see through and floats around your legs. Very comfortable and no tummy accentuation that you sometimes get with maxi dresses. :)
It's really long. I'm 5'6 1/2" and wearing a 4 inch wedge and it's still close to dusting the ground as I walk.
Major con though -- I wore it with a cross-body bag into work today and the knit across my chest is already pilling from just that one 20 minute commute. I've never had a knit top or dress do this before - at least not so quickly! It's noticeably worn after one morning!
