This dress fit me like a glove. I'm not alone, either - check out the rave reviews posted by women of all ages, shapes and sizes!
I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 34D, very short-waisted and athletic but curvy. I am normally a size 6, but finally settled on the size 4 regular after trying the 6P. It hits about 2-3 inches below my knees, which is both flattering and a pleasant alternative to my other dresses, which are either mini or full-length. The smaller size just feels better and I think the closer fit helps the lace detail pop a bit more.
The nude colored slip/lining also alleviated any modesty issues I had with respect to the "peekaboo" detailing throughout the bodice. It might look like you're showing a lot of skin, but it certainly doesn't feel like it once you're wearing it. It's classy and it's sexy, which is usually more than you can ask of a dress at this price point. Bonus: my flesh-colored bra is virtually undetectable, which is key given my cup size and the fact that I have 2 young kids.

Classy, Sexy & A True Head-Turner
This dress is sure to solicit compliments. The intricate lace detail is beautiful, and the nude slip underneath gives just enough risque appeal, but it's still classy. It's extremely versatile - I can wear this on a date night, or at a work cocktail event, or a winter evening wedding. Works with or without tights.
The only downside for me is that the clips on the front can come apart easily - if you plan on dancing in this dress, beware! I'm just very conscious of this and keep my moves to a two-step when I dance. Also - this dresses nude is complimenting on all shades - it compliments my chocolate brown skin, and the model looks great too!

I would get married in this dress.
I went into my local Anthro store with my sister looking for something else, but saw this dress and had to "just try it on" in white. I'm normally a size 6, but there was only a 4 available in the store. I wasn't planning on purchasing, but once it was on, I didn't want to take it off. I happily paid full price, and my sister and I continued to gush about this dress the entire 20 minute drive home from the store. This dress is GORGEOUS. Even though you're completely covered, it's so figure-flattering and sexy. Definitely a head-turner. I've worn this twice and received many compliments from friends and strangers. It is expensive, but the quality is so good that I see it as an investment. It does run a bit big, so if you're in between sizes, size down. I'm sure a size 6 (if I had been patient enough to wait) would have been fine, but I liked the extra "va-va-voom" I got with the 4. I love the dress in white and am tempted to get it in another color as well!
For reference, I am 5'5", 34C, and usually a size 6.
I saw this at Anthro and was drawn immediately to the beautiful and brilliant blue of this dress. The flowers elegantly signal the fading bloom of summer and the refreshing arrival of fall. In every way, from the weight of the fabric, the potential for layering, and yes to both heels or boots, this dress is spot on. The only criticism I have is the construction of the dress. I tried this on three times (two in size 0 and one in size 2) and each one had problem with the bust line not being sewn correctly. I finally settled on one of them but realized that one of the pockets was protruding more than the others. At this price, this should not be the case and I examined other sizes and could see that this was happening across the board. Needless to say, because I think it's an unusually beautiful dress, I decided to go with it and enjoy it. Hopefully, however, the label will take note and take measures to tighten quality. BTW, my figure is a stick and I like how this creates the illusion of curves.

I bought this dress in the Alexandria store when I was visiting a friend there. The fabric is gorgeous and the sleeve is great. I am 5'10" and a 12/14. The cur actually looks OK even with the pleating at the abdomen area. A lot of people seem to comment that they do not care for that. The bust is pretty tight. I am a 34DD and it does smoosh a little bit.
My only complaint is that the hem is stitched up with super fine thread and very loosely. The second time I wore this, the thread broke, the hem unraveled , and the whole back hem was hanging straight. I had to scotch tape it in place until I got home from work.

I honestly can't remember the last time I bought something full price at Anthro - this one is so worth it!
I initially tried on the 10 (I'm usually 10-12) and it fit well but smooshed my boobs completely flat. I had to hunt out a 12 at a different store and it was so much better over the chest but still a great fit everywhere else.
This is such a flattering dress for those of us with curves. I have a thick waist and the banded middle helps to cinch me in a little. The neckline and sleeves make it very work appropriate although, at 5'9", I could have done with a few more inches on the skirt length, but this wasn't a deal breaker.
I adore the pattern and colors. I also think this will work really well throughout Autumn too. The material is excellent quality. I found the (slight) poof of the skirt hid my tummy.
I was also very fortunate to be able to apply the (limited time offer) 15% teacher discount, which helped a wee bit with the price!
This is an epic dress. I feel like Joan Holloway from Mad Men in it :) I hesitated a long time over the full price and took advantage of the recent sale on dresses. It was still more than I would normally pay but so, so worth it.
I usually buy Anthro clothes in 14/L. I sized up to an XL (as I do with other Bailey44 dresses) and it's still a very close fit. This dress is great for an hourglass figure. If I was pear shaped or self conscious about lower abdomen/thigh areas, I might skip this dress. (Let me add, I do plan on shapewear for a more streamlined look.) The material and cut make it very clingy and the dress is designed to come to a narrow point at the bottom, exaggerating the V shape from the waist down. I was kind of surprised by this, and if you need more material to balance your shape or less material due to height, be aware.
I really appreciate that this is a modern version of a pin-up dress without showing any cleavage. It makes it so much more versatile to wear just about anywhere. A new favorite!

Gorgeous and beautifully made
I hesitated to try on such a form fitting dress but I couldn't resist just trying - the very dark teal green was too enticing. I tried the dress and was shocked to find it so flattering. Being proportioned a bit larger on the bottom, I thought that this dress would accentuate that but it was quite the opposite! Due to the details at the neckline and the width of the sleeves at the shoulders, the dress balanced out my proportions. The ruche detailing throughout the dress also was flattering and did not add lumps and bumps. t skimmed over everything. After purchasing/wearing, I had it cleaned and it came back looking just as beautiful as new. Most importantly - this dress is incredibly comfortable.

Sexy and elegant
this dress is so comfy and does not choke you, for example, it does not ride up. it's so soft and i love the ruching detail. the pic on the anthro website shows the dress sitting above the knees, which it's able to do. However, it's naturally long, and can sit right below your knees, which is where I wore it the other night and it only rode past 1/2 my knee.
Love this dress! Usually when I order online, I am rarely satisfied with my purchase because something is off - the fit or how the fabric lay or the color, etc. This dress, however, was a lovely exception to those experiences. The color is stunning and full of life. I tried two sizes: 8P and 6 regular, and found the fit of size 6 regular is very comfortable and compliments my figure perfectly(regular size 6 runs bigger then 8P). I did not find that material looks cheap, as previous review says. It is light, but warm enough to wear in cold days with bright leather jacket. The skirt was a little long, I'm 5.6" tall, but I thought that made the dress a little bit more elegant. Dress it up with heals or down with sandals, you will look gorgeous. Dress smells a bit, but it made in India and
clothes from this country usually has some specific smell. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase even I paid huge amount of custom duty on this dress.

It was not my initial intention to buy this dress but anywhere I was in my local anthro, this dress was in my sight - it stands out because of the stunning color. So I gave in, purchased it and happy about it.
It's not cheap looking at all to me but for sure it is kind of delicate as it is made of chiffon like fabric.
I recommend go down a size. I purchased my usual size 10 and I thought 8 would have been better. The waist is elastic and stretchy, and the dress has lots of fabric, it is better when gathered fabric is stretched out more.

The pattern, color and silhouette of this dress are amazing. The waist is cinched, making the wearer appear very slim. The patchwork detail is what caught our eye when this dress first hit our sales floor. It makes the dress look expensive and special. It really stands out in our selection. The dress is a true midi length, which is great for many different heights. There is a lot of fabric in the skirt of the dress which helps it to feel expensive but this could be something that wouldn’t be as flattering on women with fuller hips.
The neck of the dress is cut very high, which can be a bit uncomfortable if you are not used to it. The waist is elastic and can accommodate many sizes but we wish that the construction of the waist was a little more sophisticated looking to match the rest of the dress. This is easily remedied with a great belt and wouldn’t deter us from splurging on this dress!
I ordered this in a medium. I was a little concerned that it would be tight across the bust-however, it fit nicely. This dress probably isn't the most form fitting, flattering dress, but it is so stinking cute!! I loved the look of it! Plan to pair with tights and boots for Fall. I purchased in the blue. Smaller chested girls should size down. Stats: 34E, 132lbs, 5'4"

Not too Shabby
The material of the dress is nicer than I expected, although the silkier fabric of the skirt does wrinkle a tad when worn. There were some loose threads on the bodice but after snipping them I found the rest of the embroidery to be pretty durable. I'm thin but busty (32D) and the medium fit well. The dress doesn't touch anything below your bust so order to fit the shoulders and chest. Overall the dress is cute (the short length balances out the baggy shape below the bodice), comfortable, reasonably good quality, and I get compliments whenever I wear it. I'm taking a star off because I think it's poorly done that neither Anthro nor the designers acknowledge that the gorgeous embroidery used by Edme and Esyllte on their clothes are traditional Palestinian designs. Cultural appropriation isn't cool, guys.

What's not to love?
I absolutely love this dress! It's similar to one from a year or two ago, but it actually fits well, unlike that one. There happened to be a medium on the "only one left"rack. I would normally wear a small, but decided to try it. I'm glad I did, because a small would not have fit. I am 34DD, and the medium was perfect. I wish it went in a bit more under the bust, but oh well. It is a light and airy dress for summer. It will be extremely comfortable when the temperature is way too hot. The length is perfect. It hits above the knee.
Another Maeve dress, this is cut almost exactly the same at the navy polka dot dress the designer produced this season. I would say it runs a tad smaller than the other dress and thus is a little more TTS. Another reason I would venture to call this true to size, is I don't feel that the lace would look as classic if the dress were too tight. The dress has wonderful stretch, so I think it would still be very comfortable, but I think it might pull the lace some and take away from the product.
The lining is a great wine type color and the dress has pockets also lined with this fabric which I really love. Also, the lining helps the dress work as a transitional piece that doesn't look to "white" or "summery" for the winter. It also avoids looking too bridal. I'm 5'2" and 110 lbs and I went with the XS which hits right at my knees. I think the XSP would have worked, but I really loved the length of the regular size.
Flattering, comfy, and well-made. As with anything lace, it is delicate so jewelry after putting it on. I find it worth the full price and I don't think it will make it to the sale rack.

I wasn't sure about this dress when I saw it in person but I loved it in the picture so I thought I might as well try it on. It fits so well! No gaping at the bust area, no bumps or gathering in the back. I am 5'3" and the length was just about at my knee. It might have been better a little shorter but not enough that I am going to bother hemming it. The waist area fit really well and was very flattering as I sort of have a straight waist. This accentuated and flattered my waist. I was debating ordering the petite since you can't get petite sizing in the store but since this one was great, I am going to stick with it. I tried on about 6 other dresses and this was the best fit. I love how it sort of looks vintage/retro. I very good find! Just for reference, my measurements are approx 39" bust, 29.5" waist, 37" hips and I bought a small.

Love this dress!
This dress was exactly what I wanted - will wear it for our employee Christmas party with some fun burgundy heals, but can dress down for other occasions with my cowboy boots (I live in Colorado) and a jean jacket. It is very comfortable and I love the pockets. The only issue I had was at the cross over seams - they were open to the inside? Was this how it was supposed to be? I ordered a size L as I am 6'0" , normally a size 10/12 and it fit perfectly very flattering for my curvy figure!
What more can I say other than I love this dress. The styling is simple and timeless. The colors are more muted than on-line. The fabric is substantial and feels good next to the skin. The vee neck and slight capped sleeves are very flattering and help make my waist appear small and the A-line is flattering to not so perfect tummies and hips.I have a hard time fitting into dresses and this one was no exception. The reg. size 4 fit in the waist but was too small across the back. When I sized up to a 6 the dress was too long waisted for my short torso and long legged body. I think it would cost too much in alterations to make this dress a viable option for me but if it lasts till it goes on sale it's the dress for me. Perhaps going to a petite is an option but I loved the length of the reg. on me. If you have a special occasion this is the dress for you.

Top 5 Fave Anthro Purchase of All Time
This dress is absolutly beautiful and extremely high quality, better than many $300+ dresses I've tried at Anthro and other stores. The fabric has just a smidge of sheen in real life, and it is on the heavy side, but I think it adds to the luxe feel.
It's a very versatile dress, I would wear this dress to work with black tights, blazer, and booties or to an event or date night.
Couple fit related notes: I am 5'9", the length is perfect for me, right below the knee. Overall I think the dress is TTS, but I found it a bit snug in the chest and I am not busty (definitely a pear). Just something to note if you are busty. I think the main reason is that the fabric has no stretch, so it doesn't give much when breathing in/out.
Overall absolutely love it, wish there were more dresses of this style and quality.

I bought this beautiful dress this past wkend during the sale, and I agree with the other reviewers-- it is stunning and well-made. I appreciate the caplet shoulders, as opposed to spaghetti straps, especially for winter holiday season. The other thing I will add is that the "pouff" of the skirt is due entirely to the weight of the material-- there is no tulle underneath, only a standard slip. Size 6 is usually what I wear in most Anthro dresses, and it fit to a T, for ref, 5'8, 135 lbs, 34-B. This is a dress that can work for all ages and will not go out of style.
