    Perfection…and, yes, size down.
This dress fit me like a glove. I'm not alone, either - check out the rave reviews posted by women of all ages, shapes and sizes! I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 34D, very short-waisted and athletic but curvy. I am normally a size 6, but finally settled on the size 4 regular after trying the 6P. It hits about 2-3 inches below my knees, which is both flattering and a pleasant alternative to my other dresses, which are either mini or full-length. The smaller size just feels better and I think the closer fit helps the lace detail pop a bit more. The nude colored slip/lining also alleviated any modesty issues I had with respect to the "peekaboo" detailing throughout the bodice. It might look like you're showing a lot of skin, but it certainly doesn't feel like it once you're wearing it. It's classy and it's sexy, which is usually more than you can ask of a dress at this price point. Bonus: my flesh-colored bra is virtually undetectable, which is key given my cup size and the fact that I have 2 young kids.

    Parisienne Charm
This dress was a definite must-have the minute I saw it online. After reading numerous reviews I had to wait until it was re-stocked before ordering. I am not disappointed. The dress hugs me and accentuates the curves of my petite frame and I felt elegant and sexy. The dress on me (size 8 for reference) does have some extra room in the back end which might fit better on women with more 'booty' but it still flatters my waist, hips and bust. I felt immediately as though I had stepped off the streets and cafes of Paris in this dress. A classic for my closet.

    Elegant and versatile
Very elegant dress and very flattering. I've worn it to operas, concerts, special events. Definitely good for a wedding. I do not wear the ribbon that it came with, but wear it with a black leather belt instead. The dress is a little delicate, especially the sleeves which are just lace and look like they could tear easily. Definitely recommend.

    Exquisite.
I had high expectations prior to receiving this gorgeous dress & they were far exceeded. You can visually see the design on the website, but what you don't see is that in addition to the button closures, there's a substantive hook & eye between each button. & is double lined. I mean what craftsmanship! And so elegant! & distinctive! I'd recommend wearing this dress anytime except summer. Sizing: I'm 5/2, 112 lbs with a slim/ahtletic build, 32C. Since I saw some reviews noting it runs large, I got the OOP (normally I'd get the 0P). It fit like a glove & hugged me in all of the right places. The petite version was too high-waisted on me, so I'm exchanging for the regular 00. This happens to me a lot. So if you're a short gal like me, but find it's better to get a regular & have things hemmed, you might opt for the regular size. But the 00 was perfect; I'll just have to get it hemmed, but that's the story of my 5'2 life! Highly recommend!

Ok, so obviously it's hard not to notice the monthly car-payment-like price of this dress, however, that being said... It. Is. Worth. Every. Penny. At least when that repo-man comes, you will look GOOD. Seriously. I'm 30 years old, 5'6", 150 pounds and I purchased the size 8. Never before in my 30 years on this Earth have I owned an article of clothing that fit this well. It's absolutely perfect! The dress itself is clearly stunning. Perfect black dress. The buttons are darling and let you choose your level or riske. The skirt is the perfect sexy, modern length. I feel like I'm over-using the word 'perfect' here, but no other word in the English language would apply quite as well. If you're thinking about purchasing this dress, do it. Don't think about it any longer. It's inconceivable that you could possibly, in any way, regret that decision. Start babysitting. Own that lemonade stand. Whatever you do... Buy this dress. It's... Perfect.

    Quality and Fit
Beautiful, sexy dress. I normally take an 8, and the 8 fit very well. I'm hourglass, and this dress seems to be intended for curves, and is probably the reason it fit so well. High quality, and work-appropriate, as this dress is mostly about fit - there is plenty of coverage, and as per the photos, can be worn buttoned up fully, or with a few open buttons. Some knit dresses lack structure, but not this one - it really provides good support. Part of the reason is that this is a very heavy dress with a lining with substance, and as such, is really only suitable for fall/winter. I didn't knock down the rating for it, as it's an intended and important part of the structure, but you won't be getting in or out of this dress very quickly - it has both buttons and metal hooks all the way down, so you will need to open it just below the waist to get in and out.

Bold color, bold design, TURNS HEADS!
I'm seeing an older man and as soon as I walked out in this he said, "STUNNING!'. When I say older man, I mean the type of sophisticated gentleman who is urbane and observes cocktail hour, a man who notices every detail, and if it passes his litmus test so effortlessly, my goodness, I may wear it everyday! I love the fabric, as always soft, just about wrinkle resisted, flows. The design on the fabric is played out perfectly to flatter any woman, and the for the busty woman, there's no need for a cami, they've got your cleavage covered, literally. The back is cut low, too, which is really nice (said older gentleman pointed that out, he said, 'it may just be me, and that I'm a swimmer, but the low back is a real turn on I think for men in general.') I can find nothing wrong with this dress, and well, everything right! In an effort to beg spring I wore this dress today, and I have OPI's Cajun Shrimp on my nails--HOLY COORDINATION (by accident)!

    In LOVE with this dress!
This dress is amazing! Yes, the price is high but it is WORTH it and you will feel like a million bucks wearing it. For reference, I'm 5'1", 118 lbs, average build, small (34A) chest. The XS Petite fits perfectly, with my flat sandals it just barely skims the floor. Coverage in the front doesn't gape, and so even when you bend over there is no sign of cleavage or bra (at least on me), the back as well doesn't come down so low that your bra is showing (though I think you could totally get away with not wearing a bra at all in this). The sleeves on me are true to the model; just barely a cap-sleeve over the shoulder. The fabric is amazing, not too light, not too heavy, and is just weighty enough to drape perfectly and move fluidly when you walk. The dress is lined from the empire waist to the knees with a navy blue slip (in the same fabric as the rest of the dress), in case that matters to anyone. The colors are bright and vibrant, and would look great on any skin tone. This will get a lot of wear from me, definitely worth the money!

    Love it!
Couldn't decide between this and another dress while shopping online, so I ordered both! I'm glad I did! The colors are beautiful and I'm excited to wear out.

    A masterpiece!
Why, oh WHY did this have to arrive just in time for Christmas? LOL I saw this astonishing dress just after my Carismma Sheath dress, in black, arrived. At first I thought this version was too close, but irl, it's in a class of it's own. You can barely tell from the photo, but the fabric on the bodice and skirt are different. The top has tiny circles with dots of red. The placket is also a different pattern, but instead of the hot mess I expected, the whole thing works to make you look like the most stunning creature in the room. Very, very flattering on most body types, but I'd dare say especially on the hourglass girl. This is the dress I would wear to dinner, to weddings, to business meetings with a jacket, to tea, to lunch with the girls, where wouldn't I wear this? Fit is tts, much like the Carismma sheath. I pray that it doesn't sell out before I can get my hands on one! Or, maybe, just maybe, it will show up under the tree!

    Gorgeous.
The dress is gorgeous and incredibly flattering. I've worn it several times and gotten many compliments - its a 3 season dress. Fits like a glove but very comfortable. Only bothersome thing is that found the die-cut sleeves catch on the lace/crochet that is under the arms and pills a bit. But since its a show-stopper of a dress, I overlook this. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs - hourglass shape and bought the 2. I'm thin on top and small-waisted.

    Even better than I hoped!
I visited this dress many times on the website, hoping it would go on sale, but finally decided to bit the bullet and pay full price. Prior reviews listed its unique detail and surprises that made this dress a conversation piece (and why I love Anthropologie!) and it didn't disappoint! It is form fitting and sexy in a smart-girl way, but it also possesses an artistic/couture quality that renders it timeless. I am 5'6 and a 35" bust/128 lbs and went with the 4p, as I prefer the hem to hit me at or above the knee. The fabric has stretch, which allows it to fit to your body, not bulge and buckle as a stiff fabric would do. I also cut the belt loops and moved belt/ribbon down so it would hit my waist, as the petite waist was higher- no problem at all. I am SOOO happy I splurged and know this will be a 'go to' dress for years to come.

Stripes & Flowers for spring - FTW!
I saw this dress online & loved the colors/pattern. Went to my local anthro to check it out & despite that fact that I'm usually a 0P/00P in anthro dresses, I decided to try on the regular 0. So glad I did too! The length was perfect - the shortest sections hit just below my knee (I'm 5'0") and would be just right when seated. I imagine the petite to possibly be a little too revealing. It hugged my hips nicely & the top filled out well (I'm 30DD). I think the petite may have been too tight & prevented me from fully rotating my shoulders. The only issue I had with the top was since it's double layered (nice), the in-seam at the bust almost gives a pointy Madonna-esque look. I figured with some steaming I could flatten those out....also the cashier had just bought the same dress & said she steamed it for the same reason which helped, along with wearing a more push-up type bra. Beautiful dress - excited to wear it to a few spring weddings!

    Beautiful! Worth every penny
I typically wait for things to go on sale but I am so happy I chose to splurge on this dress!! It is unique, soft, airy and summery but not see through. I have gotten multiple complements since I put it on this morning. My husband thinks it is beautiful. It can be dressed up or down for any occasion. Sizing wise -I am 5'4, 32c, 115lbs- I got a size 2 regular. The shortest sections of the skirt hit just above my knee which is perfect for work. I also noticed the darting in my chest area but agree that a padded bra would fix that in a non-work scenario. Don't hesitate! Buy this dress before it is gone.

    Spring in a dress
This is an absolutely gorgeous dress! I just love the combination of flowers and stripes. The material is high quality and is cut to give it a fabulous swing to it. It's not a stretchy fabric, but it is true to size. Love it!

    I utterly love this dress
This dress feels softer than the fur on a pusssy cat. It is easy to wash, keeps its shape, can be dressed up or down. I'll have to send in a picture with a hat I bought to go with it. Unfortunately, the only thing that mars my look is that my foot is in a foot boot due to surgery. On the plus side, it is easy to put on and off. I may wear it every day. I'd like to see it in brighter colors. I got an xs because I'm 5 feet one and weigh 105 lbs. It's also age approrpriate for any age.

    So flattering!
This dress is gorgeous.... It hides tummy flaws and drapes beautifully. I wore it with similar gladiator sandals during the day and changed into heeled boots during the evening when it dropped into the 40s. This is truly an all season dress. For reference I'm 155 36 dd 5'8 and the large fit perfect. It doesn't wrinkle. Great dress for the curvy woman!

    Beautiful and versatile!
I cannot say enough good things about this dress! I grabbed it on a whim as I was walking by in the store...on the hanger, it looks just okay. However, when I put it on, I was sold! The color is a gorgeous deep gray, and the fabric is absolutely to die for...super soft, silky, and smooth. I felt very comfortable and luxurious in it. It is good for dressing up and for casual wear too, and it will span all seasons...great with boots, a jacket, and a scarf in fall and with flip flops or wedges in summer. Absolutely fantastic. I don't love that it is dry clean only, but that's the only negative thing I can say. It is roomy but not huge...I am normally a size S or M, and the S has plenty of room. LOVE it!
