I am so excited about this dress! It is stunning in person- the colors are just gorgeous and the pattern is adorable. I'd say the pictures on the website are very accurate. I was worried the sleeves would be a bit much but they actually look great when the dress is on. Love that the material is corduroy- very warm and comfortable- and being corduroy it makes it more casual so thicker tights and boots looked great! I would say definitely order based on your bust size because there is is plenty of room for larger hips and backside :) (I'm a size larger on bottom than top so I was very happy about this!) At 5'2 I tried the regular and the petite and went with the petite size. The only slight issue was the slit in the front is pretty low and does show cleavage. Not enough for it to be inappropriate for me because I am not large chested but just something to be aware of if you don't like showing a little skin or have a larger chest.

Fun fall dress with nice details!
I tried this on in a regular size 4. For reference, I am 5'1'' and 118 lbs and usually a size 4P or SP. The regular 4 fit me in the waist and the length was alright, but it was a bit loose in the top portion (and gapped a bit at the neck), so I think I will be purchasing in petite sizing. I'd say overall it runs TTS.
This dress is very fun. It came to just about my knees. It flares out at the bottom, and the tie at the waist provides a defined waist, so the overall look is very flattering. I love the sequin detail at the sleeve, and surprisingly, the cap sleeve does not make my shoulders or arms appear bigger than they are.
The dress is very well-made in a thick corduroy, and the colors of the pattern are rich and gorgeous. I love the littles birds on it. The neckline is quite low- I may want to wear a cami underneath.
Overall, this is another great anthro dress! It will look great with boots all winter long!!

This dress is my favorite thing in life right now. It is described as corduroy, but when I first saw it I was thinking 'velvety.' It is lined, and the material is thick. It is stretchy, but if you are between sizes #in anthro world# I would go with the bigger of the two. Sometimes I wear a 2 but I bought a 4 in this one. I love how it cuts in at the waist and gives me some shape! That is not an easy thing to find in a winter dress these days. I also love the sleeve caps! What a super sparkly and colorful touch! & the cut at the front is nice; not too revealing but shows I've got some stuff there. I find this dress to be superb, very unique. The zipper is kind of unfortunate because it is right under the armpit, just a bit awkward, and it's too bad there are no pockets because there is room for them where the dress flares out. I wore the dress to work the other day with a sweater, tights and boots #lace-up fitted lighter brown boots and navy tights# and felt pretty all day long. Will also wear for Thanksgiving dinner. This is my favorite purchase in some time. Totally worth it.
Why, oh WHY did this have to arrive just in time for Christmas? LOL I saw this astonishing dress just after my Carismma Sheath dress, in black, arrived. At first I thought this version was too close, but irl, it's in a class of it's own. You can barely tell from the photo, but the fabric on the bodice and skirt are different. The top has tiny circles with dots of red. The placket is also a different pattern, but instead of the hot mess I expected, the whole thing works to make you look like the most stunning creature in the room. Very, very flattering on most body types, but I'd dare say especially on the hourglass girl. This is the dress I would wear to dinner, to weddings, to business meetings with a jacket, to tea, to lunch with the girls, where wouldn't I wear this? Fit is tts, much like the Carismma sheath. I pray that it doesn't sell out before I can get my hands on one! Or, maybe, just maybe, it will show up under the tree!

Even better than I hoped!
I visited this dress many times on the website, hoping it would go on sale, but finally decided to bit the bullet and pay full price. Prior reviews listed its unique detail and surprises that made this dress a conversation piece (and why I love Anthropologie!) and it didn't disappoint! It is form fitting and sexy in a smart-girl way, but it also possesses an artistic/couture quality that renders it timeless. I am 5'6 and a 35" bust/128 lbs and went with the 4p, as I prefer the hem to hit me at or above the knee. The fabric has stretch, which allows it to fit to your body, not bulge and buckle as a stiff fabric would do. I also cut the belt loops and moved belt/ribbon down so it would hit my waist, as the petite waist was higher- no problem at all. I am SOOO happy I splurged and know this will be a 'go to' dress for years to come.

Gorgeous dress, amazing design
Having never purchased a Byron Lars dress, I was not sure to expect given that it is not made of ideal fabric. It was already sold out in all stores near me, so I took a chance and ordered it in my usual size 6. It fits perfectly, it is not too tight at all, yet simultaneously slinky and feminine. I was a bit worried how it would sit over my hip bones, but it looks perfect, and really has a slimming effect and creates gorgeous lines. I'm guessing that the material it is made of allows for this effect, therefore I"m ok with spending nearly 300$ on it. It feels sexy and vintage, while simultaneously uniquely modern and luxurious! This is an amazing dress: I definitely plan to buy the Carissima sheath asap as well.
This dress is so cute on and very flattering. Love the neckline and the lace is a fun detail. I bought the moss and it's a beautiful, rich color. The wine looks a little more berry in person than the online pictures appear. I am usually a medium but sometimes a large in Anthro brands. I tried the small and medium in this dress. At first I thought the small looked best because the bottom part was a little less voluminous, but tried the medium because I have large shoulders and the small was a bit tight under the arms. Loved the medium. Voluminous in the lower half, but it has a nice nip in the middle that keeps it swingy instead of tent-like. I have a thinner torso and larger legs, so this line is very flattering for my legs. I also loved the length - it's longer than most dresses of this type, which I appreciated - minis are not my best look. Most flattering on small to medium breasted women. Great with tall boots, booties, leggings & flats. And it's REALLY soft - it feels like wearing a nightgown!

Wow! So warm, yet swingy, and lightweight.
I love this dress! If I didn’t know better, I’d think I’m wearing pajamas to the office. Seriously though, this is a high-quality piece. From the stitching to the design, fit and texture of the fabric, much effort went into executing this really comfortable tunic. The wine isn’t as vibrant in person as online, but it is still lovely and oh, sooooo comfortable. Did I mention comfortable? Lastly, it does run large. In tops and sweaters at Anthro, I usually wear an XL across the board (some L), but an XL in this dress would be just too much. I’m an athletic, but curvy build. I wear between a 12W and 14W with a 38D bust and the dress rocks on me in size L. As is, it is still shapely, but has a nice tunic feel. Wearing with tall black boots and wine tights. Work appropriate, but warm. Btw: If you want to utilize the pockets, use a seam ripper to open up access as they come stiched closed. Love the pockets, too! Buying the moss as soon as I can get my hands on it.

This dress doesn't look like much on a hanger, but it looks great on! I purchased it in the moss color. It's made of a heavy, jersey material that drapes beautifully! I wore it with high boots, as pictured on the model, and I felt like a million bucks! Perfect for those cool, sunny days. I bought a a size small, I'm 5'4" and 135 lbs.
I went to the store and tried on the dress in blue-- I saw the mauve color, but thought it may wash me out in the later winter months and I had no idea that green was an option. I was hesitant to try on the dress as it looked long (I am 5'3" and I tried it on in XXSP), but when I tried it on it looked perfect. It was stylish, but not too stylish. I could not justify spending $148.00 on the dress, so after much consideration I left without buying it.
However, this fit and style was so perfect I could not stop thinking about it. I went online and discovered the moss color and I was sold. I bought the dress immediately. The blue is gorgeous, but with my coloring I am hoping that the moss will look even better. I plan to wear this to work and to Christmas parties with suede booties.
The dress is fitted in the chest and arms area-- it is revealing in that sense. Otherwise, the waist down is very forgiving.

Pleasantly surprised by fit and style
I was worried this dress wouldn't be flattering based on other reviews saying it would be best on tall and thin. I am 5'5" and athletic though also curvy and it looked really nice. I bought the Moss in Medium. It fits just perfect but also very fitted at top which I liked but if I wanted it a little looser I would have sized up. I don't usually wear midi length. Normally that isn't the best length for my height and figure but this was an exception. The dress has a remarkable flow and grace and it feels special. I even asked a friend if I should hem it up a bit and she said that it looks really great how it is. I will wear it with fitted suede boots with a medium heel and a gold pendant necklace. The quality seems very good. I am very happy with my purchase.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Flattering, great sleeves and neckline, and the blue is a particularly lovely peacock color.
There are so many things to love about this sweater dress. The pattern is bold, but it isn't loud or gaudy. And, it is so soft. The lace at the neckline is whimsical, and you can easily wear a black bra without the straps showing. What I like the most, though, is that the skirt is a-line rather than straight up and down. For my body type, straight up and down, this dress actually gives me a waist.
FYI: broad shoulders/back, short waist, larger on the top than the bottom (10 on top, 4/6 on bottom), and short 5'2" - I purchased the M. I tried the L, but on my short frame it sort of hung in an unflattering way on my body. Since it is a sweater knit, the more fitted version is best. You can stretch the fabric a bit, to create the shape that you want. The black band falls directly on my short waist, so if you have a long waist it might be too short for you. The length is perfect for my short frame, falling just above my knee.
I have already worn this dress twice. Both times, I wore it with black tights and booties. It really is very versitile, and so I will wear it on many occasions. You can easily pair it with a cardigan or a jacket, though it doesn't need it. Overall, this is a perfect sweater dress.

gorgeous and cozy
This is a sleek sweater dress. Nicely fitted with a black band around the waist for definition. Universally flattering cut. Great length that's perfect work, running errands or going out on the town. The fabric is cozy and not itchy. I saw women from age 25 to 50 trying this dress on.If you are worried about the lace top and wearing a bra, don't be. Just wear a black bra and you won't notice it at all. True to size but since it's a sweater material you may be able to size down. For reference, I am 108, 32-24.5-32 and I took the XXSP. Don't know why the photo came out sideways?

This was on display as we walked into our local store and my husband said " you have to have that." Luckily, they had my size! I wore it to work the next day and got a ton of compliments, then wore it to a semi-casual event and got a ton more. I added a black belt and boots and didn't need any other accessories. Great purchase!
This a great dress for day or night! It's a little longer than the average tunic, so I wear it as a dress with tights and boots. I've worn it both to work and out for a night on the town, so it's a great take on the LBD. The stretchy fabric is very flattering. I did have to buy the XL, which was the only size left when I bought this, and I found it fit ok, which not my usual size (I usually wear a M or L) so it runs small. Wear it with a pendant necklace to dress it up. Very comfortable!

a classic great look
I spotted this LBD hanging on display in the fitting room yesterday in the small, my usual size. I don't need another dress, but it had that classic simple look that appealed to me. It is pullover style, the top part is very stretchy & the dress is lined. Once I got it on & had the lining in place it was just perfect! At 5'3", 119#, it falls about 2" above the knee. I usually have a problem w/ dresses too long or short, but this is just right! Also, it did not feel tight or restrictive at all. Of course I'll wear w/ boots or booties & some sheer dark stockings. Can't wait to wear it!

Love love this dress...so comfy and very out of the box! Wore it to an event where there were mostly men and did not want anything too girly, it was perfect. True to size, Would purchase again, without a doubt.
This dress is absolutely stunning and the length is perfect, even for a 5'2 girl like myself. With 3 or 4 inch heels, the dress skims the floor for me. I tried on a regular XS (I'm usually a 0 or a 2) and it fit like a glove, the waist hitting at my natural waist. The delicate pleating on the bodice and the skirt flaring out were so flattering! The dress moves beautifully when I walk. The jersey lining is extremely comfortable and I didn't find the dress sheer at all. I bought the dress because I fell in love with it, but I'm still debating whether I should keep it since I have no formal occasions coming up. It would also be difficult to wear it as a wedding guest since it's white! Otherwise, if you have an event coming up, you should definitely give this dress a try!

Lovely All-Seasons Dress
I tried this on whim in the store and fell in love. Its absolutely lovely on, very flattering. The neutral cream color is so refreshing - this could easily just have been black. I'm 5'5" and with flats it just touches the floor. I paired this with the Cafe Cardigan and also with a big green statement necklace. This can be styled so many ways during all seasons. I think this is a great investment piece - Bordeaux does fantastic work.

I absolutely adore this dress. At 5'2", I was not expecting this dress to fit but I had to try it on. I tend to avoid long dresses but this dress is absolutely stunning on. With heels it just grazes the floor. Beautiful material and quality. So happy with this purchase.
