This dress fit me like a glove. I'm not alone, either - check out the rave reviews posted by women of all ages, shapes and sizes!
I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 34D, very short-waisted and athletic but curvy. I am normally a size 6, but finally settled on the size 4 regular after trying the 6P. It hits about 2-3 inches below my knees, which is both flattering and a pleasant alternative to my other dresses, which are either mini or full-length. The smaller size just feels better and I think the closer fit helps the lace detail pop a bit more.
The nude colored slip/lining also alleviated any modesty issues I had with respect to the "peekaboo" detailing throughout the bodice. It might look like you're showing a lot of skin, but it certainly doesn't feel like it once you're wearing it. It's classy and it's sexy, which is usually more than you can ask of a dress at this price point. Bonus: my flesh-colored bra is virtually undetectable, which is key given my cup size and the fact that I have 2 young kids.

Loved it, but it had to go back
I loved this dress instantly online and was pleased with the quality and it fit well. I needed something for a specific function though, and even though the lace peekaboo is an illusion, it felt too risque for my need. Additionally, although it fit well, I felt like it made me look a little frumpy. The tiny hooks were also a little problematic for me - tended to open up.

Elegant and versatile
Very elegant dress and very flattering. I've worn it to operas, concerts, special events. Definitely good for a wedding. I do not wear the ribbon that it came with, but wear it with a black leather belt instead. The dress is a little delicate, especially the sleeves which are just lace and look like they could tear easily. Definitely recommend.
I ordered the medium size in green and wasn't sure whether to keep it until I read the first reviewer, who found it huge. She was correct. I just received the same dress in small, and it's a dream. Everything is better. The fit is excellent all around, and the effect on me is uplifting. So, the small on me worked; I am 5'1", 130#, 34F. The length was just as in photo, at the knee bottom. This will be ideal with wedges as shown. I highly recommend this dress, but suggest that you order one size down. I will be returning the size medium in which I was swimming and weighed down, with a little too big all over. Oh, I bought the belt in M/L, as I am 29" waist. The dress looks very good without it, but it does add class. How nice to have this very versatile dress as summer approaches! I love that it is modest, bra-friendly, works with a bust, armholes not too large, length at bottom of my knee.

Another great find!
I loved the green print on this dress and tried on a size L (for reference my measurements are 42-32-42 generally a size 14). It fit, but there was excess fabric on the sides, so i sized down to a M and the fit was much more flattering. The thick elastic waist really makes this dress extra a keeper.
the fabric flows nicely and does not provide stretch but there is plenty of fabric up top to accommodate those of us with a full bust. The length hit me at just below the knee in the regular M, I'm only 5'3.5", which makes it work appropriate. I will wear it with a thick brown belt and brown heels.
Measurements from side to side:
waist 16" (relaxed - there is about 5" of give due to elastic)
HIGHLY recommend this one to ladies in the 12-16 size range, this one will fit really well! I know how hard it is to find cute, unique, dresses when we're in that size range.

Must try on in person
I read many complimentary reviews of this dress but was bit skeptical because of the shape and color of the dress. Being an Asian, the yellow/green colors are not the most flattering to my skin tone. However, I decided to give it a try since I have a wedding this weekend and am in a desperate need of something to wear... I was very very pleasantly surprised! even after reading all the positive reviews! The green color is absolutely gorgeous and didn't make my skin appear gross sickly yellow. The fit is fabulous and flattering... cinching in the waist at its smallest part... the length is slightly below the knee (I am 5'3"). As others noted, it's on a large side... I had to size down to xs and it fit perfectly. It was money well spent and will be my staple dress this spring/summer.
Why, oh WHY did this have to arrive just in time for Christmas? LOL I saw this astonishing dress just after my Carismma Sheath dress, in black, arrived. At first I thought this version was too close, but irl, it's in a class of it's own. You can barely tell from the photo, but the fabric on the bodice and skirt are different. The top has tiny circles with dots of red. The placket is also a different pattern, but instead of the hot mess I expected, the whole thing works to make you look like the most stunning creature in the room. Very, very flattering on most body types, but I'd dare say especially on the hourglass girl. This is the dress I would wear to dinner, to weddings, to business meetings with a jacket, to tea, to lunch with the girls, where wouldn't I wear this? Fit is tts, much like the Carismma sheath. I pray that it doesn't sell out before I can get my hands on one! Or, maybe, just maybe, it will show up under the tree!

The dress is gorgeous and incredibly flattering. I've worn it several times and gotten many compliments - its a 3 season dress. Fits like a glove but very comfortable. Only bothersome thing is that found the die-cut sleeves catch on the lace/crochet that is under the arms and pills a bit. But since its a show-stopper of a dress, I overlook this.
I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs - hourglass shape and bought the 2. I'm thin on top and small-waisted.

Even better than I hoped!
I visited this dress many times on the website, hoping it would go on sale, but finally decided to bit the bullet and pay full price. Prior reviews listed its unique detail and surprises that made this dress a conversation piece (and why I love Anthropologie!) and it didn't disappoint! It is form fitting and sexy in a smart-girl way, but it also possesses an artistic/couture quality that renders it timeless. I am 5'6 and a 35" bust/128 lbs and went with the 4p, as I prefer the hem to hit me at or above the knee. The fabric has stretch, which allows it to fit to your body, not bulge and buckle as a stiff fabric would do. I also cut the belt loops and moved belt/ribbon down so it would hit my waist, as the petite waist was higher- no problem at all. I am SOOO happy I splurged and know this will be a 'go to' dress for years to come.
This dress is a show-stopper and has exquisite movement. I'll be wearing it to a cocktail party where I'll be on my feet for most of the evening. The styling is unique and timeless. I can easily wear this dress as resort wear, out for a nice dinner, or cocktail party/semi formal.
I'm 5'4, 114 lbs, small B cup. My body type is straight, no curves. I have longer legs than torso. The dress looks a little longer on me than on the model, but it's still a fun length. I tried on the small, but it was way too large. The XS fit much better, but it's still just a little big in the chest area. I'll either take it in just a smidge or wear a more padded bra. The dress slipped on very easily - no need to wiggle or force it on. There are no zippers on garment.
The colors look more vibrant in pictures. I feel in real life the colors are a bit more muted.
It's such a great dress, I just had to have it while it was available and I was more than happy to pay retail for it!

perfect for weddings
I am usually an XS or S in anthro brands and I went with the XS on this one. I am a 34 C but still had room in the chest/arm holes in the S. The length is perfect for me, hits a few inches above the knee. The best part is the back, the swinging details dress it up just enough for nicer weddings, but you could also dress down with wedges for a shower or day event. Perfect for summer! The colors are even cuter in person! Must buy!!

Seriously Perfect for Everything
Okay, i saw this dress and although it usually takes me a week or so to commit to an anthro dress, i bought this one immediately. I love it so much, it is very unique and very comfortable. I usually wear a 0 at anthro but sometimes a 2 in the more fitted dresses. The XS is perfect. It is a little on the baggy side, but that is the cut not the sizing. I recommend this dress to anyone. I cannot wait to wear it out!
This is the kind of dress I can really only find at Anthropologie, and much to my delight, it fit like a dream. For reference, my measurements are 42-32-42 and generally a size 14. I tried on a size Large and it fit loose all over. I decided to try on a Medium (which i normally would not dream about fitting into), but it fit perfectly, and more flattering than the L. So, I say this dress runs 1 size big. The fabric does not provide stretch but as a full-figured woman with ample bust, the design up top is spot on! it fits without any gaping between buttons, the waist has elastic and there is a hook right at the center button to prevent it from opening (SO helpful and it's these details that make this dress a must even at full-price).
it fits me just below the knee, which makes it work-appropriate, and with some heals it will look quite classy! I have worn it with a thin black belt and black sandals and received a few compliments. :o)
measurements from side to side:
bust 24" (right before sleeve ends)
waist 15.5" (with some give because it has elastic)
waist to hem: 24"

This dress runs very large! I am a 14 and go back and forth between a L and an XL in anthro sizes in general and I got the XL. It is huge. I could have easily fit into the L. I can cinch the waist though with a wide belt and it looks like a fun flowy summer dress. That being said - I'm not particularly overly endowed (38C). The cut of the neck is scooped and although it is loose it still falls modestly. I love that the dress is lined and and the pockets are both functional and add to the look of the design. The material was not what I would have expected. It is flowy, but thicker and harsher (more textured) than I would like. The colors I find to be about spot on to the pics on-line. The one down side is that it is not particularly shape flattering. I feel a bit as if it looks like I am wearing a sack - but overall it is cute. I love that it is comfortable, modest, and will get many opportunities to wear it.

I think this dress is beautiful and the quality seems great. I am 5'8". 142lbs, and 34A. I usually wear a Size Small or Size 4 in Anthro dresses, and I bought a Size XS in this dress. It is a little roomy on top, but the length is perfect (it falls right to the top of the knee), and the fabric is perfect. Usually dresses are too short for me, but the length is great. I love how it has a elastic waist to show off the smallest part of the body. I also love the 1940's feeling to this dress. I have a pair of tan peep-toe heels that go perfectly with it. A pair of wedge espadrilles would also go nicely with this dress for the daytime. The color of this dress is pretty-a reddish/orange print with ivory background. The color is depicted exactly as you see it on the model. I have yet to wear this dress because the weather has not been warm enough, but I am hoping to wear if for Mother's Day!
As a present to myself, I get a dress from Anthropologie. This year this is the dress.
The top part of the dress is softt and flattering (hiding unflattering bulges). The hem of the sleeves are unfinished. This is not new to Bailey 44 clothes. I have 2 tops that I've had for a few years now and washed myself and the hems are still iin tact. I expect for these unfinished hems to be better treated as this dress needs to be drycleaned because of the skirt.
I am a true XS and tried both the regular and petite. Both fit fine. I went with the petite one, preferring thi fit whenever I can get it.
I expect to wear this dress quite often in the Bay Area, pairing it with boots on slightly cool days and ith flats on warmer days.

great dress for Spring
I saw this dress on-line and didn't think much of it, especially for the price, but I decided to try it on in-store and was very surprised at how flattering it was on me so I decided to splurge and buy it. I am 36C, 28 waist, 135# and 5"4' and the small fits perfectly...very flattering dress. The small hugs in all the right places while still hiding any tummy flaws. A medium would have been ok too if I wanted a roomier fit like on the model. I took away a star for quality because I'm nervous about the white on the bottom and it's dry clean only. This will look cute with flat sandals or wedges.

Dress à la Française
Simple, classic and very timeless! I admired this dress from a distance for a while now and finally gave up and tried it on and have to buy it since it was so-so chic. I got in L (38-34-39) since I really didn't want body con dress to show my non existing ABS. The dress hanged perfectly and I loved everything about it except the scoopneck, it was slightly too wide for my bra and I guess I have to use double-sided tape to hide the straps otherwise it's perfect in every sense.. Also I didn't had any quality issue and didn't mind unfinished edges.
The color is so pretty! The shade of blue is little brighter than most chambray baby blue colors. I checked the 'runs large' category but 'relaxed fit' would be a better description. This fit of this dress is easy and comfortable; it is not supposed to be a form fitting club dress! I wish the length was a couple of inches longer, but if I were younger, I would not want it longer. I am concerned about the sleeve length because it gets so hot in Atlanta, but for Spring it is perfect. The sleeves can be rolled up because the arms are blowsy enough. The feather embroidery and smocked neckline are beautiful details that make this dress very feminine. The deep pockets are great! They are big enough for a billfold or iPhone! Anthropologie does a great job of offering plenty of dresses with pockets. The ability to throw on a beautiful dress and run errands without carrying a purse is freedom! I'm tired of guarding my purse at the grocery store and farmer's market; I had my purse stolen from my buggy this year. So thanks, Anthropologie for offering beautiful dresses that suit my lifestyle!

sweet spring dress
This was my first dress purchase from anthropologie and I'm very happy with it. The blue chambrey color is soft and beautiful. The fabric has a nice, substantial feel to it and the embroidered feathers, as well as the embroidery on the shoulders definitely won me over. I bought a large and was nervous that it might not fit my bust ( I'm a 36DDD) but I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and tried it on. It fit me perfectly but unless you are busty too it might feel too roomy on top unless you size down. Overall I was very pleased.

I finally bought this dress today. I had tried it on a few days ago and kept thinking about what an easy staple this would be in my summer wardrobe. As a mom of two young kids I don't want something restrictive or too short, but I also want something cute and easy to wear. This is it! This will be perfect for taking the kids to the beach, running errands and staying cool in the summer months. As for sizing, I am usually a small in Anthro dresses but ended up sizing to a Medium for my height to get a bit more looseness and drapey-ness.
