    Perfection…and, yes, size down.
This dress fit me like a glove. I'm not alone, either - check out the rave reviews posted by women of all ages, shapes and sizes! I am 5'4", 125 pounds, 34D, very short-waisted and athletic but curvy. I am normally a size 6, but finally settled on the size 4 regular after trying the 6P. It hits about 2-3 inches below my knees, which is both flattering and a pleasant alternative to my other dresses, which are either mini or full-length. The smaller size just feels better and I think the closer fit helps the lace detail pop a bit more. The nude colored slip/lining also alleviated any modesty issues I had with respect to the "peekaboo" detailing throughout the bodice. It might look like you're showing a lot of skin, but it certainly doesn't feel like it once you're wearing it. It's classy and it's sexy, which is usually more than you can ask of a dress at this price point. Bonus: my flesh-colored bra is virtually undetectable, which is key given my cup size and the fact that I have 2 young kids.

    My go-to dress!
I was at the Seattle Anthro and not having any luck with finding a dress for my class reunion. I came across this dress in 12P as a return on the lost & found rack. I tried many other dresses on that day, but after this one, I was sold! It was a bit pricey for me, but trust me, it has been well worth it. I was worried about the lace tearing/being too fragile, but it has held up wonderfully with no problems. So classy and it fits me just about perfectly. It hits me just at the middle of my knee. Don't let the price deter you, it is well worth it! For reference, I am not a tiny lady -- 5'2", 165lb, 36DD.

I would get married in this dress.
I went into my local Anthro store with my sister looking for something else, but saw this dress and had to "just try it on" in white. I'm normally a size 6, but there was only a 4 available in the store. I wasn't planning on purchasing, but once it was on, I didn't want to take it off. I happily paid full price, and my sister and I continued to gush about this dress the entire 20 minute drive home from the store. This dress is GORGEOUS. Even though you're completely covered, it's so figure-flattering and sexy. Definitely a head-turner. I've worn this twice and received many compliments from friends and strangers. It is expensive, but the quality is so good that I see it as an investment. It does run a bit big, so if you're in between sizes, size down. I'm sure a size 6 (if I had been patient enough to wait) would have been fine, but I liked the extra "va-va-voom" I got with the 4. I love the dress in white and am tempted to get it in another color as well! For reference, I am 5'5", 34C, and usually a size 6.

    A masterpiece!
Why, oh WHY did this have to arrive just in time for Christmas? LOL I saw this astonishing dress just after my Carismma Sheath dress, in black, arrived. At first I thought this version was too close, but irl, it's in a class of it's own. You can barely tell from the photo, but the fabric on the bodice and skirt are different. The top has tiny circles with dots of red. The placket is also a different pattern, but instead of the hot mess I expected, the whole thing works to make you look like the most stunning creature in the room. Very, very flattering on most body types, but I'd dare say especially on the hourglass girl. This is the dress I would wear to dinner, to weddings, to business meetings with a jacket, to tea, to lunch with the girls, where wouldn't I wear this? Fit is tts, much like the Carismma sheath. I pray that it doesn't sell out before I can get my hands on one! Or, maybe, just maybe, it will show up under the tree!

    Simply Gorgeous
I have admired this dress forever and when I received a birthday discount code I decided to give it a try. I am not disappointed. The dress is beautiful...a classic! It is also seasonless as I will be wearing it to a spring event with nude pumps. It is well-made and the pictures do not show the intricate details in the design and materials of the dress.

    Even better than I hoped!
I visited this dress many times on the website, hoping it would go on sale, but finally decided to bit the bullet and pay full price. Prior reviews listed its unique detail and surprises that made this dress a conversation piece (and why I love Anthropologie!) and it didn't disappoint! It is form fitting and sexy in a smart-girl way, but it also possesses an artistic/couture quality that renders it timeless. I am 5'6 and a 35" bust/128 lbs and went with the 4p, as I prefer the hem to hit me at or above the knee. The fabric has stretch, which allows it to fit to your body, not bulge and buckle as a stiff fabric would do. I also cut the belt loops and moved belt/ribbon down so it would hit my waist, as the petite waist was higher- no problem at all. I am SOOO happy I splurged and know this will be a 'go to' dress for years to come.

    Gorgeous, versatile dress.
I have been a long-time admirer of Anthropologie, but this is my first purchase. I love it so much, and can see myself wearing it to versatile occasions: a late summer wedding, a date on the boardwalk, the farmer's market, or even work with the right cardigan. The print is a bit more bold than what I usually wear, but the soft, earthy colours appeal to me. I'm a small/size 4 on top, and a 6 to 8 on bottoms. In dresses, I'm a 4 or 6. The hips on this dress are free, so I sized down to a 4. The sales clerk told me this dress was basically made for me (which was very sweet), but to be honestly I think it will be flattering on many shapes and sizes. I really love that the banding around the waist negates the need for a belt. My only wee concern is that the dress is polyester, and therefore won't breath as well as a natural fiber in the summer. However, I hope the flow of the skirt will still allow this to be comfortable on even the hottest day.

    Flattering + Gorgeous gown
I would have never, in a million years, have picked this dress for myself. I was desperately trying on every dress in the store, looking for something to wear to my brothers wedding. This was last on the hook, and once I tried it on, my jaw dropped at what I saw in the mirror. The fit is impeccable (once I went up a size) and I looked long, lean, and lovely. Fit info: I'm normally a size 4 at Anthro. Size 34C bra. This was snug in the boobie area and because I can't really wear a normal bra with this one, I went up to a size 6 in this dress so I can wear some of those stick on boobie lifter things or a strapless bra giving me some lift to my 2 kid having body. The waist still fits nicely even though now there is a bit of give in the top.

    Stunning dress worth the investment
There are so many reviews on this dress so I tried to follow everyone's advice on sizing. Being 5'4" it's always a gamble whether to order regular or petite sizing. I ordered a 6 regular and it was still too long with heels on so I think the petite size will work better for my height. I am 32DD, 27-28" waist and 126# and the 6 was too loose around the waist and bust so I'm exchanging for a 4P. Besides the fit being off, I could still appreciate the construction and quality of the dress. It is absolutely stunning and worth full price!

    Petites run very short-waisted
I first fell in love with this dress in the catalog shot and tried on my usual size 2 in store, but it was clearly too big in the bust and long in the shoulders. This problem is typical for me as a petite--5'2", straight and athletic figure--so I ordered the 2P. Unfortunately, the petite size is tight in the waist (where I'm proportionally larger) and noticeably short-waisted. I actually am short-waisted myself, albeit with a long torso, but the petite dress's waistline hit above my high natural waist. Combined with the shorter length, it felt childish and babydoll-like. To get the right fit I'd have to purchase the size 2 and get it professionally altered, so I'll wait for sale. A few other notes about the dress itself: every dress has a slightly different pattern layout, and in most of them the dot centered on the v-neck is NOT centered (i.e. like the model shots but not like the perfect catalog shot). Also, there are pockets hidden in the front where the two different pattterns meet in the skirt, not on the side seam as I initially expected.

    Flattering!
I have a full hour glass figure and sometimes it's difficult to find something that will flatter that. This dress is PERFECT on me! It defines my waist and flares out nicely to accent my curvy hips. I know some reviews said it runs big, but I got my usual size 10 and it fit wonderfully. I love the way they mixed the patterns and how they placed them on the dress. It's not overwhelming at all, and I think the v-neck helps break it up a bit. Also, the length is spot on for me, I'm 5'5" and it hits about an inch above the knee. I plan on wearing it to a graduation with wedges, and then a little more casually to a bridal shower during the summer with sandals. I can't wait to wear this!

    Adorable dress
I purchased this in store in a size 2. This is my usual dress size (5'4" 125lbs 34B). This hits at my knee and is not too tight on the bust/waist. The front is cut low enough to be flattering, but is still work appropriate. The fabric is a crisp cotton. This dress has a burgundy lining with black scallop threading trim and front pockets. This has the right amount of full skirt (not too big). I can see this easily working in warmer weather as the fabric is light weight. I wore it with a black cropped cardigan, black tights and boots today in the dead of winter, so I can see getting a lot of use out of this dress. Love how the pattern looks on the sides of the dress. Hope they make this dress in a lot of different patterns.

    A Box of a Dress
Well, I like a shift dress. Usually....but, this one was just too boxy for me. FYI: 5"3", broad shoulders/back, 36C, normally a 10 in a dress, but I can go down to an 8 in a dress that is not fitted in the waist. I am an 8/10 on top and a 4/6 on bottom, so I am very sensitive to a design that makes me look boxy. The fit of the 10 was a bit tight in the bust area, but the hips were just fine. But, I don't carry my weight in the hips, so... Too bad, too, because the quality of the fabric (silk) is wonderful. The dress was a couple of inches above my knee, and that length is perfect on me for sandals in the summer. But, I couldn't get over the square in the front that, for my build, made me look like a big "square". If this dress had been made without the box design on the front, it would have been a winner, though. If you were flat chested and had smaller shoulders, this would be a very versitile, comfortable dress for many occasions. For those that can fit this one, bravo!

    My New Favorite Dress!
I normally wouldn't try a dress like this on simply because of the cut/shape. I'm an hourglassy person and I find that when I wear dresses that don't nip in at the waist I get the effect of looking bigger than I am, but I AM SO GLAD I TRIED THIS ON! I normally wear S/sometimes XS in Anthro tops and dresses (27 in pants) and am 5'4'' with a 36C size chest for reference in case any of you curvy ladies aren't sure about trying this baby on. The print is so sweet and whimsical, and my favorite part is the band of color at the top. Give this dress a shot! I've gotten tons of compliments on it! Thank you Anthro!

Unique dress for many body shapes
I usually can't fit into Anthro dresses in this style because of my ample bust, but this one actually fit! it hit at the knee and is very comfortable. I can see it looking a bit more flattering with a skinny belt to define the waist and some heels. i love that it has a little sleeve and it's very classy but quirky. for reference, my measurements are 42-32-42 and i tried on a size XL which measures 22" from underarm to underarm.

Very cute and a little sexy.
When I saw this dress I was so happy, finally a dress that is not too short! Plus a flared A-line. I tried on the x-large which was too big, the large (my normal size) fit perfect, even my 40DD bust with a little cleavage showing, classy sexy. The material is soft and stretchy, very comfortable with a little weight and texture to it. I love the "key-hole" back (which hides the bra) and of course the length which falls just above my knees. The navy blue hem is a nice touch as it enhances the fun springy flower pattern. My only wish would be pockets. I am looking forward to wearing this cute dress out to daytime fun and with a little jewelery, a heeled sandal and a shiny clutch out to dinner. A perfect dress for spring sun and summer nights. My husband will love it! My girlfriends too!

    Gorgeous!
I tried this on in the store today and fell in love. I am going to wait for a sale, but almost walked out with it. I am a solid petite in everything, but this in the XS regular fit me just fine (I'm 5'1", 115 lbs). I would probably order the petite, but could have gotten away with the regular size. It is stretchy material, but it won't stretch out to shapelessness because it is heavier material (but not warm…I'm in FL and would wear it in summer). I'm small chested, and the shape of the dress was flattering. Definitely a fun, party, nite out dress, not really for office wear. Really, it is beautiful.

    Lovely, fun dress
This is a very fun, pretty dress, with vivid print and colors. It is prefect for spring and summer wear. The flared A-line skirt has great movement and is very flattering, and the key hole in the back is really pretty. The material is soft and stretchy, making it very comfortable; however, it does run very large. You'll need to go down at least one size. If you are busty, the neckline will look/fit low-cut.
