I'm seeing an older man and as soon as I walked out in this he said, "STUNNING!'. When I say older man, I mean the type of sophisticated gentleman who is urbane and observes cocktail hour, a man who notices every detail, and if it passes his litmus test so effortlessly, my goodness, I may wear it everyday!
I love the fabric, as always soft, just about wrinkle resisted, flows. The design on the fabric is played out perfectly to flatter any woman, and the for the busty woman, there's no need for a cami, they've got your cleavage covered, literally. The back is cut low, too, which is really nice (said older gentleman pointed that out, he said, 'it may just be me, and that I'm a swimmer, but the low back is a real turn on I think for men in general.')
I can find nothing wrong with this dress, and well, everything right! In an effort to beg spring I wore this dress today, and I have OPI's Cajun Shrimp on my nails--HOLY COORDINATION (by accident)!

In LOVE with this dress!
This dress is amazing! Yes, the price is high but it is WORTH it and you will feel like a million bucks wearing it. For reference, I'm 5'1", 118 lbs, average build, small (34A) chest. The XS Petite fits perfectly, with my flat sandals it just barely skims the floor. Coverage in the front doesn't gape, and so even when you bend over there is no sign of cleavage or bra (at least on me), the back as well doesn't come down so low that your bra is showing (though I think you could totally get away with not wearing a bra at all in this). The sleeves on me are true to the model; just barely a cap-sleeve over the shoulder. The fabric is amazing, not too light, not too heavy, and is just weighty enough to drape perfectly and move fluidly when you walk. The dress is lined from the empire waist to the knees with a navy blue slip (in the same fabric as the rest of the dress), in case that matters to anyone. The colors are bright and vibrant, and would look great on any skin tone. This will get a lot of wear from me, definitely worth the money!

Maeve hits it out of the ballpark again!
First of all, let me just say I love the Maeve brand. Most of my pieces from Anthro are Maeve and I love how incredibly chic and comfortable their pieces are. I'm a consistent XS in this brand (120lbs, 32D, 5'4"), this dress fit perfectly. It is slightly long but I threw on a pair of wedges and Voila-the length was perfect! The dress itself is soft and cotton lined and easy to dress up with a pendant necklace or some colorful earrings. Minimal is best since the vibrant colors of this dress stole the spotlight. The only thing that would have made the design of this dress 100% perfect is if this dress had pockets but that certainly won't stop me from wearing this all summer long!
When I saw this dress in the store, I fell in love. I was reluctant to try the dress on because I felt as though the top would draw attention to my chest. I am usually a 36D on top and 4-6 on bottom and tried on a medium. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the dress actually minimized my chest and fit beautifully. It's a very comfortable and flattering dress. Its versatility is a huge plus...perfect for work or for casual get-togethers.

This is the perfect dress. The wrap top is flattering, even to smaller-chested ladies (as a side note, the way the top is constructed it would be a perfect nursing dress, and because it has a high waist it would even work for awhile in pregnancy) such as myself. I ordered a med though according to the size chart I'm a small, and the fit is perfect. The skirt is rayon and polyester, with some shine to it, but not sparkly.

My new favorite dress!
I stalked this dress for months deciding whether or not I really needed it. Obviously I eventually opted to buy, and my only regret was not getting it in both colors before it sold out online. Such a beaut and soooo comfortable! Like other reviewers said it can be dressed up and down to your liking. It will be in my closet until it falls apart. Another wonderful anthro purchase couldn't be happier.
Hi Anthro Fans!
I recently bought this dress when the 25% off dress promo was on and I am so happy i did!!
I am a bit of a sucker for a great LBD and this is the best summer version and the details are adorable. In particular the lace on the cup sleeve and the bib and even the buttons. I actually sized down in this dress and found it fit quite large. For point of reference I am 125 Lbs and petite and curvy and normally wear a 6-8 depending on the fit. I tried on the small and found it was just way too large in the waist as well as the sleeve area. The extra- small fit great so thats what i went with. It fit better and had a more defined A-Line that i was looking for. The small was just too much material in the waist and the seat and the cap sleeve sat much lower. I would suggest going down a size in this one unless you want a much looser fit. I am happy with my decision as i did not want to belt this one because i felt that would take away too much from the fit.

I loved this dress the first time I tried it on due to it's flowy feel and adorable design. It took the 25% off sale to convince me to run back and make the purchase. I bought the solid black version in a Medium (Average size 6-8). It doesn't have a cinched waist or darting to show off your body if that's what you're looking for. It does have comfort, room and sweet feminine details that allow you to actually laugh, eat and sit for an extended period of time in….gotta love that!
It's fully lined so there is no need for another layer in the form of a slip, yeah! And the pockets are devine - I love not having to carry a clutch when in a dress! This adorable cotton dress will be perfect for cocktails with the girls, my companies summer picnic or even a weekend festival. I've got my wedges waiting on standby and can't wait to wear it out and about.

Little Black Summer Dress
Fell in love with this dress at first sight. It is the perfect little black dress for summer. The detailing down the front and around the collar is so cute. The fabric is very nice and holds it shape. It does a weird poof thing in the back but I don't mind that since it is supposed to be "shapeless". I found it a little big so I sized down. I purchased the black one but I am tempted to purchase the checkered one as well.
I am so happy with this dress! And I highly recommend it to you for its gorgeous materials, cut, and style. I went with the blue. It skims the body and has great movement to it. The many details such as corset- lacing at back (on top of fabric so no skin shows), real lining (not slip), complementary prints, little sewn inserts of fabric at armholes for a flattering look that doesn't show too much armhole flesh, small sleeves. This is a beautiful, feminine, and very wearable dress. I am so happy I ordered this! A real winner. Ageless, fun, bra-friendly. I bought the medium and am 5'1", 130#, 34F. The top fits my bust well and the gored skirt is close enough to my body not to resemble a maternity gown in the least. The length is pleasing to my eye and is at knee for me. If you are tall and younger, you could get away with it much shorter, so I think this dress works for many heights and figures.

Soft, pretty, modern
This is definitely a trapeze dress and it does not have a defined waist. It might not be the most slimming dress, but it is definitely the most comfortable one I have ever worn. The fabric is super soft and the dress does not cling to the body, so it is wonderful to wear.
I got the "red" one #which is definitely a orange shade# and tried on a few jackets with it to see what could work for the office. It should be noted that white jackets clash with the patterns, because they are off-white. The stylist suggested the Cartonnier off-white linen jacket #http://frca.anthropologie.com/anthro/product/4115348690022.jsp?language=fr-CA#/#, which works really well with the shape and colour of the dress.
I tried on the Small first and found it lose, so I tried the XS to compare, but it was too tight on top and the dress was too short, so I went back to the Small. #I'm 5'7" and 145 lbs.#

Not that form flattering but fun for summer
I purchased this in regular medium in the Navy color. Every single dress I own has a defined waist so I wanted something a little different for summer. The medium fit well but was a little tight across the chest. I will admit this dress isn't that flattering to my hourglass-ish figure, but I can always belt it. I bet this dress would look very good on ladies who are more slender.
The fabric is light, and there is a nice navy liner underneath. No pockets. It is really comfortable though, I am actually wearing this dress while lounging at home writing this review.
As for the colors: the main dress pattern is navy and white, but the contrast pattern is midnight/almost black and almost imperceptibly very pale pink and green, with yellow for the flower stamens. The different colors are not noticeable from far away (I only noticed when I got home) and in my opinion they do not detract from the dress.
What an amazing maxi dress! I managed to grab this beauty while it was on sale, 25% off but now that I've worn it around- I know I would still have bought it at retail price. It's just fabulous. Gorgeous vibrant color, soft, comfortable material, and I've only worn it a couple times but gotten so many compliments. I'm 5'10" and got a Medium and it's perfect. Length is great, fits nicely up top (34 C) and totally flattering. I feel like this is a dress for all seasons and that you could accessorize it however you want. It's such an easy piece because it makes a statement all it's own so there's not much else you need to do. A worthwhile purchase in every way.

I love this dress
This is a beautiful dress. The colours are so much more vibrant compared to the dullness online.
It is so soft and comfortable. I love Maeve dresses.
I am big busted and could still wear this. I'm using a L or XL and went with the L.
The only disappointment was the cross crossing of the straps, hence taking a star away. I'd much rather they just be regular straps.

This dress is just as vibrant and beautiful in person as it is in the photos. I'm usually a 10-12 on the bottom and an 8 on the top so I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly. The top is perfect and it flows on the bottom. I'm 5'8 and its the perfect length for a maxi dress.
Also LOVE the pockets! Will be my go to dress for the summer
This laser cut, eyelet style dress is absolutely beautiful. I would have overlooked it online, but in person the detail and colors are just stunning. I'd say the blue is a bit brighter than shown online. The only reason I say that I think this dress runs small is due to the bust. I generally wear a size 0 which is what I ended up buying because it fit quite well overall, but it was a bit tight through my chest (for reference I'm a 32D). I think if you are smaller chested, it would probably be fine in your true size. I also think part of the problem was the zipper.
The fact that this dress is relatively form fitted with a side zipper does not help with the slight sizing issues. The fabric is also of a nature that this zipper is a big sticky regardless. I actually hate the zipper, but I still love the dress. I think it would be perfect if the zipper were placed in the back rather than the side as I need a bit of help to get in it. Still worth the purchase in my opinion.

Great Dress for Summer Event
This dress quickly caught my eye in my local store, where I was looking for dresses to wear to afternoon and evening weddings this summer. I love the design of this dress, and the level of detail is excellent. I normally wear a size 8 (I'm 5'10", 160 pounds, and hourglass shaped) but tried on a 10 since there were only a few of this dress left in the shop. The 10 actually fits me very nicely, and I am glad for a little extra room, as it is very hot and humid in the south in the summer! I highly recommend this dress,

This is one of those dresses that you can wear at any age. It is very flattering and doesn't add bulk despite the material being pretty substantial. It still has some swing to it but stays structured and doesn't wrinkle once you've sat down. Other reviewers have commented on the top running small but I didn't find that to be the case (I'm a 32D). It maintains a slim silhouette through out the midsection and flares out perfectly just above the knee. The bottom hem hangs slightly lower on the sides than at the centre, which I personally love. I originally bought this dress to wear to a wedding but wore it to work the other day and it was perfect with brown heeled sandals. It runs true to size. I am typically a size 6 (5'10" 145lbs) and I mail ordered the 6 and it fits like a glove. I see this being a dress to wear for many years as the styling and pattern are classic.
This dress is a show-stopper and has exquisite movement. I'll be wearing it to a cocktail party where I'll be on my feet for most of the evening. The styling is unique and timeless. I can easily wear this dress as resort wear, out for a nice dinner, or cocktail party/semi formal.
I'm 5'4, 114 lbs, small B cup. My body type is straight, no curves. I have longer legs than torso. The dress looks a little longer on me than on the model, but it's still a fun length. I tried on the small, but it was way too large. The XS fit much better, but it's still just a little big in the chest area. I'll either take it in just a smidge or wear a more padded bra. The dress slipped on very easily - no need to wiggle or force it on. There are no zippers on garment.
The colors look more vibrant in pictures. I feel in real life the colors are a bit more muted.
It's such a great dress, I just had to have it while it was available and I was more than happy to pay retail for it!

beautiful colors & pattern, unique design
Feminine yet edgy dress, fabric also good for occasions like cocktail parties and summer weddings. The 2 swing shoulder panels make this dress unique. The top of the dress is a little more halter-like than in the picture with a sport-cut back. I've even worn my dress with the swingy back panels tied low in the front, sarong style for a different silhouette. I'm 5 foot tall, athletic build and this dress provides a nice flare, the pattern is not overwhelming for a small person. I ordered the XXS and the front hem falls 3 inches above my knee. Colors are beautiful, navy, chartreuse and powder blue, looks much better in person than in the photo. Am so glad I bought this fun dress for spring.

I was happy to find this at my local store after seeing it on the website. Love the color - the deep blue is gorgeous and a nice change from pastels. It took me a few minutes to figure out how the back works. It's a racer back that has strips attached at the top of the shoulders and along the side seams, so the middle of the back is open and the strips flutter behind you as you walk. I am 5'6" 100 lbs so the length was a bit longer than on the 5'10" model but still a couple inches above my knees. The fit was true to size; I tried the xs and it was large in the chest area, which is typical. This does come in xxs but only through the website, so the store ordered it for me (free shipping - thanks Anthro!). I plan to wear this as is for one look and with a belt for a second look.
