I didn't think I knew this designer personally, but I must bc these pants are made for me!!!!!!!!!!! This is my new go to pair of crops. The dark denim color is SO slimming, and the slight flare at the ankle is perfect. Not as bell as shown here. Also, these are exponentially softer and more comfortable than any other pair of jeans I've ever worn. EVER! They feel more like yoga pants than jeans, which means I will be dressing more like a real person on my days off than I tend to for the sake of comfort. They look fantastic on my nothing special tuckus, too. Lifts my bum and gives it some shape. LOVE everything about these. Considering ordering a second pair in black to wear to work. I actually ordered my regular size 8 (Im 5 ft 7 in and wear about 8-10 in pants) and these are a good fit. I think the length is perfect for me... above the ankle but not a short crop. The rise is a really decent medium rise, preventing any muffin top, but definitely not mom jeans... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Best fit out there!
I've searched high and low for jeans that fit my more athletic body both in the waist and legs. These pants are just right! No gapping at the waist, not too tight at he calves or quads. The only thing I have found- the crop and regular length seem to fit me a bit differently. I am generally a 4 or 6. In the AG Stevie a 28 is perfect, regular length Lily's the 28 is also perfect, but in the crop I chose to up to a 29. The 28 fit nice in the waist but the hips seamed a bit more snug? Either way, that's fine by me because the do feel like butter on- almost as nice as the sateen Stevie's but won't collect as much lint! My only complaint- Anthro please bring back more options in the regular length! Love love love

Finally, the perfect pair of black pants that are neither jegging, nor legging, nor too-thick denim! These are soft, have a little give in the legs, hug all the right leg and butt curves, but don't look too-tight or tawdry (pleather, anyone?). Appropriate for any age, for sure. I'm 5'3", size 8 or 28, but got a 27—while I *do* size up in the AG Stevie colored denim, all of us at the store hands-down agreed it was necessary to SIZE DOWN in this pant, as it stretches differently from the AGs. One of our girls even went down two sizes for this pant. The stretch mainly occurs in the waist (which is great—no inadvertent muffin topping!), which is great, and lets you wear these a few times before getting the dread "elephant knee." Another perk is that the regular length hits right at the ankles for me. They look cute rolled up with booties, rolled down with flats, tucked into boots, or even with a favorite pair of Chucks. And the price for the quality and versatility is EPIC.
These pants are soo soft, comfortable and look and feel great on. I have a pair of the classic Sateen Stevies in black from last year, I've machine washed and dried them (cold, inside-out) MANY times and they haven't faded, still look and feel like new every time I take them out. I'm petite (5'3), so when I saw this ankle version in the store I gave it a try. Again, the fit is just perfect and pretty much the same, although they are a little lower rise than the classic Sateen Stevies. I'm around 120# and curvy and took my regular 26. I just couldn't leave the store without these, and I'm thrilled that I don't have to get them hemmed! FYI, I'm generally not a full price shopper at Anthro, but I've watched the classic version of these pants on my wishlist for over a year, hoping to get another pair on sale, and they haven't been marked down. The price is high, but quality and material is excellent, they are easy to clean and don't wrinkle, so in my budget-minded opinion, well worth the money.

Great pants perfect petite fit and super forgiving
LOVE these pants they fit perfectly and super flattering. I have always had a hard time finding cute pants that fit since I am 5 feet tall and have booty, thighs and hips. The stretch to them are fantastic and the cut and length are perfect. Look great with flats or heels. Couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic black pants
I bought these in black and couldn't be happier. I was looking for a pair of casual black pants that fit like jeans but would be work-appropriate without feeling stiff or scratchy or getting easily wrinkled like most suit pants. Well, these are perfect! They're soft, with a little bit of stretch, so you can pull them on easily but they still keep your butt and thighs "tucked in" the way regular jeans do. Although they're 'sateen', they're definitely not shiny and feel more light a light velvet to me. I'm 5'3, approximately 115 pounds and usually wear a size 5/27 in pants, and the 27 fit perfectly; The 26 also fit but was a little tighter on the bum then I wanted. With my height, the pants ended right at the ankle (not above it, like on the model), which is perfect for pairing with heels or tucking into boots. If you're looking for great black pants, get these!
I agree with previous reviews. These pants are fabulous. The style is fresh and new, the fit is comfortable and soft, and, as jeans tend to do, they go with everything. They also add style to what might be a casual outfit due to their design. The high waist makes them just a little bit dressier as well. I got the darker wash version and find the wash very "I've had these dark jeans for years," rather than looking like they came that way. Natural, comfortable, stylish.
My only "complaint" is the length. Though I am only 5'5", I normally can wear regular length jeans, only occasionally getting pairs I wear with heels or wedges hemmed for length. With these, I HAD to go with petite and there is still quite a bit of fabric bunching at the bottom. To wear with 3-4 inch heels/wedges, I still need to do about a 1 inch hem to keep them from dragging. This is not at all a deal breaker, but they run LONG.
Overall, a great stretchy, fun and chic style and fabulous fit! Love these.

Love these jeans!
I have a long torso, so high-rise jeans aren't always THAT high-rise on me. These, however, were perfect. Very flattering cut. There is just the right amount of stretch so that they are neither too stiff nor too "jegging-like". The wash looks exactly like the picture online. They are quite long so they will definitely need to be worn with wedges/heels. I feel like this is the aesthetic they were designed for, though, so I do not see this as a con. As the 70's inspiration enters this spring/summer, these will be right on-trend, but will also remain a staple in my closet long after the "trend" has ended for all the reasons above.

These will make your legs looks GREAT
I tried these at my sister's recommendation. She's actually in LOVE with this style. I wasn't disappointed. They make my legs look like they go on for miles. Also, can I say I am so happy that there is a style other than skinny jeans coming around? They're a bit stretchy with makes them very comfy. Hopefully, they don't stretch out too much with wear.
My only complaint is the length. I'll probably need to have them altered if they don't shrink up a bit in the dryer. I 5'8" and even with a four inch heel they still bunch up at the bottom due to the long length. Great for really tall girls though!
These are my new go-to jeans. The denim material has just the right amount of stretch, the color is just want I wanted and at 5'4" the length hits right at my lower ankle. I loved the figure flattering fit so much that I'm buying up other Verdugo styles.

I am a diehard AG Stevie ankle fan, but after trying these on in the store, decided that they were a must have. Like AG, they are made in the US, which is a huge plus in my opinion. The quality is great, and I know that someone is getting a proper wage to make them! I'm 5'3, and they hit right at my ankle. I'm going to preface the following by saying that I don't have much in the way of a bootie. The fit is nice, fabric is smooth, and hugs in the best way possible. Form fitting without feeling tight or restrictive. I found them to sit a little higher than most jeans. They felt snug without being tight, but after sitting or bending down, I found that they slid down a little at the back. For this reason, I really wish I had sized down. On me, I found that they sat higher in the front than they did at the back, so I think they would work best for someone with absolutely NO bootie...not necessarily skinny, just no bootie. Other than that, I am really happy with them. I haven't washed them yet, as I've only worn them once, but I do hope I'm able to shrink them a bit. FYI, I'm 5'3, size 10/12, and I got the 32...wish I had got the 31.

My favorite (mid-weight) jeans
I wear these jeans all the time. Out running errands during the day. Walking the dog. Brunch with my friends. To a date night dinner. They fit like a dream compared to other labels. I don't know why others think these jeans are pricey considering that there are jeans (here at Anthropologie) that cost >$200. Considering how much wear I get out of these jeans and the fact that they have no issues being washed (fading, stretching, shrinking), I feel like I get my money's worth owning these jeans.
I purchased these jeans today in my local store. Although I have never owned a pair of the Lily crops, I have owned several pairs of level 99s in the same stretch fabric. The fit is a great stretch skinny. Super flattering and trendy and the length make them a great choice to pair with ankle boots. I recommend trying them on in the store or ordering a size down. I say this because once you actually get the pair, they will be snug, but Level 99s made in this fabric stretch out an entire size over time. I have 27s from a few years ago that I am sure would measure 28 or 29 now. The sales girl also suggested that you size down and she said wear them 4-5 times before washing if possible. The other helpful info she offered up, was that the black ones are not made of the same super stretchy material, so they are more true to size.
Overall, love my new pair of jeans and I think they will look great with boots now and flip flops later. You can definitely dress these up or down!

These work perfectly for my more hourglass figure. I stuck to my usual size 28, and I'm very happy with the fit. The tag says they are "contoured" meaning they really go in at the waist. Whenever jeans fit in the waist, they are often too small in the thighs. And when they fit in the thigh area, they are way too big in the waist. Not so with these! I'm smitten! The only reason I didn't give them five stars for quality is because I find them to be the teensiest bit scratchy on the inside. Otherwise, they are perfection. I love the little flare at the bottom. That really balances the silhouette in my opinion.
I love these jeans but unlike the previous reviewer I did not find them true to size. I am ALWAYS a 26 in Pilcro- I have several pairs of different styles and washes, and I could barely pull these over my thighs in the 26. I sized up to a 27 and they fit like a glove, but still more snug than I would have expected. Luckily the Pilcro jeans always relax to your shape after the first wear, but be careful on sizing! Btw, I am 5'7" and 130lbs. Other than that the color is gorgeous in person- dark with some nice grayish fading. They look more expensive than they are because of the wash I think.

new favorite in my closet!
I am really enjoying these jeans! The fit is just right and the denim is very soft. The dark wash is very nice. I am 5'8 and usually a size 10/12. The rise is high which is wonderful for me as I carry extra weight in the stomach area. I recommend this style of Pilcro jeans. I have a different pair of Pilcro that do not fit as well as these. Go ahead and buy them already!!!

Perfect Fitting Jeans
Just bought these today and I LOVE the fit. They're high waisted, yet don't bind at the waist, fits the legs snuggly (I've got skinny legs so hard to find jeans that don't bag there) and super comfortable. I wish they made these in white. Pilcro brand has high quality as the other name brand jeans, yet less in price. Winner!
These jeans are adorable. I saw them while shopping and couldn't resist trying them on. Once in the dressing room they did not disappoint. With Ankle jeans I can usually do a regular or a petite size since I have really long legs for only being 5'0", but went with the 24P in this this case. I like the shorter inseam on the printed version and thought they looked extremely cute with the gladiator sandals that I happened to have on that day. The print is subtle enough that these match quite a few items in my closet, but different enough that they are not just a regular pair of jeans. I also love the classic cut so I can wear them on casual Friday to my corporate job. As with all AG jeans, the fabric is super soft and the fit is great.

When I saw these online I was dying to try them on. In person they did not disappoint. They are just different enough without making it so you could only wear them with a limited amount of things. Blew my birthday budget because I had to have them.
I usually float between a 26P and a 27P. Opted for the 27 just for comfort. I could have squeezed into the 26 but I don't think they would have hung right. I am 5'1" and 115 lbs. They do stretch out a bit during the day. Haven't washed them yet so don't know how they will hold up after that. But I love these jeans!!!!

These pants are just too cute! The fit is great and they are super comfortable. The little dots all over give them a fun and subtle twist. I'm 5'0 and these are more like regular length pants on me....which I like! I'm 105 and the 26 fit perfect.
