I agree with previous reviews. These pants are fabulous. The style is fresh and new, the fit is comfortable and soft, and, as jeans tend to do, they go with everything. They also add style to what might be a casual outfit due to their design. The high waist makes them just a little bit dressier as well. I got the darker wash version and find the wash very "I've had these dark jeans for years," rather than looking like they came that way. Natural, comfortable, stylish.
My only "complaint" is the length. Though I am only 5'5", I normally can wear regular length jeans, only occasionally getting pairs I wear with heels or wedges hemmed for length. With these, I HAD to go with petite and there is still quite a bit of fabric bunching at the bottom. To wear with 3-4 inch heels/wedges, I still need to do about a 1 inch hem to keep them from dragging. This is not at all a deal breaker, but they run LONG.
Overall, a great stretchy, fun and chic style and fabulous fit! Love these.

High-waisted hot momma!
I love the 70's vibe happening this spring/summer and I've been eyeing high waisted styles for a while. I was very excited to see that Pilcro put out a pair of high waisted jeans. I love all of the Pilcro jeans I have ever tried - the sizing is consistent, nice quality, great price point, fits my body type well. I am tall-ish (5'8", 135 lbs) but more of a pear shape so I was a little nervous about how these would look. Well, Pilcro has done it again! LOVE them!!! They are totally retro (in a good way) minus the mom jeans effect - just what I was looking for! And the length is perfect (for my height) with a medium heel/clog sandal. Soft and comfy with just the right amount of stretch. Makes my legs look long and lean. And I agree with other reviewers that these look a little dressier than regular jeans, even with a plain old t-shirt tucked in. Pilcro nailed it with these!
These jeans are great! Not only are they super comfortable and the perfect dark denim color, but I did not need to hem them like I normally have to do with all of my other pants. I'm 5'4 and these jeans are the perfect length on me. They rest slightly below my ankle bone, making it possible to wear flats or heels. I just wanted to let all the other petite girls out there know that these jeans are the perfect length f you are looking for full-length jeans. If you wanted a more cropped jean (like the model in the picture) these jeans would have to be hemmed significantly.

I am a diehard AG Stevie ankle fan, but after trying these on in the store, decided that they were a must have. Like AG, they are made in the US, which is a huge plus in my opinion. The quality is great, and I know that someone is getting a proper wage to make them! I'm 5'3, and they hit right at my ankle. I'm going to preface the following by saying that I don't have much in the way of a bootie. The fit is nice, fabric is smooth, and hugs in the best way possible. Form fitting without feeling tight or restrictive. I found them to sit a little higher than most jeans. They felt snug without being tight, but after sitting or bending down, I found that they slid down a little at the back. For this reason, I really wish I had sized down. On me, I found that they sat higher in the front than they did at the back, so I think they would work best for someone with absolutely NO bootie...not necessarily skinny, just no bootie. Other than that, I am really happy with them. I haven't washed them yet, as I've only worn them once, but I do hope I'm able to shrink them a bit. FYI, I'm 5'3, size 10/12, and I got the 32...wish I had got the 31.

Classic and Comfort, Dress up or down
These are my new miracle jeans. I originally tried on the Skyline Ankle Peg jeans, but they didn't have them in the darker color in the store, so I gave these a try. The fit is amazing, I am 5'4 and these hit just at my ankle (not as high as shown on the model, but she's a model and probably 5'10). I almost could have gone with a 27, (I have hips but am not well endowed in the "trunk" area). These jeans feel like a second skin. I wore them 3 times before I had to wash them because they were showing wear. I definitely recommend.
I've been on the hunt for a boyfriend jean for over a year. At 5'4", the width & slouch of most just wound up looking baggy and adding width. I'd pretty much decided the boyfriend look was better left to very tall, thin women. As a last ditch effort, I decided to try these. Fantastic! Comfort - check. Flattering - check. Perfect color - check. Really high quality. I could go for something with a little less distressing, but it's not over the top on these. I did size down one size; normally a size 27 in AG (126 lbs, relatively hourglass shape), I went with 26 in these. Could possibly have gone down 2 sizes, but I did want to maintain the comfort, casualness & look of a boyfriend. Really great with a tucked in shirt & belt, booties, pumps, flats, sneakers, espadrilles, etc. Great change of pace to all my skinny jeans. Overpriced, but I think worth it for the perfect jean.

As a pear-shaped petite girl jean shopping can be disastrous. The tightness on the thighs that typically happens when I find jeans that fit my waist and butt nicely makes me want to cry. These are the best! They're not very relaxed looking on me.. the are nicely fitted and not too tight. I'm 5'1" and 122 lbs. I tried to buy these elsewhere and it appears they are only sold at Anthro. Winning!! ALSO - these are distressed at the knees and despite being short the holes actually align perfectly with my knees.

Great for summer & worth the $
These jeans are luxuriously wonderful. As the previous posters mentioned be prepared to size down two sizes! I highly recommend these if you have an athletic body. The cut hits curves in all the right places. Also, the fabric is great. I plan on wearing these with my Superga shoes while traveling. At home, I'm going to pair them with wedges or a healed sandal.
I can't usually fit in designer jeans, even the largest size 32, being a size 14 curvy girl. Boyfriend jeans are usually not good at all on me because they are still tight in the waist/hip area (when they shouldn't be), but loose in the leg, which isn't flattering. These are the first designer boyfriend jeans I have ever tried on that I like on my curvy borderline plus-sized figure. They aren't too tight in the waist, they don't give me muffin-top, and the legs are slender and more fitted, and actually flattering! I am 5'6" tall, for reference. I tried them in a 32 without much hope but was pleasantly surprised! At last, a pair of boyfriend jeans I can actually wear and not look ridiculous or gigantic. I tried them with simple soft flat shoes, rolled them into one big cuff (instead of the little rolled cuff as shown in the photos online here), and wore a messy-tucked top and a long cardigan. Really nice slouchy spring look! Very happy! If you're a curvy girl, give these a try! I would also say these would work on shorter gals because the leg is more fitted than most boyfriends. Since they fit me, I would say that perhaps they run a little large...? I always thought the term "skinny boyfriend jean" was ridiculous, but now I understand!

Perfect for Athletic Build
I tried these jeans on because I am a HUGE fan of Paige Denim. I tried in my usual size of 28 but they were way too big around the waist, so I went down a size to 27. (I am 5-6, usually wear a size 4 or 6) My legs are very muscular and it is pretty hard for me to find jeans, as they are usually too tight around the thighs and too big around the waist.
These fit so well- though they are more snug on my legs than intended (not true "boyfriend" fit) they are in between a skinny and boyfriend jean for me.
I would highly recommend for anyone with an athletic build!

Flaunts your assets!
Very soft and has a nice slim fit with some bagginess in the legs. The back pockets are perfectly placed to make your derrière look like a juicy pear!
I love these jeans but unlike the previous reviewer I did not find them true to size. I am ALWAYS a 26 in Pilcro- I have several pairs of different styles and washes, and I could barely pull these over my thighs in the 26. I sized up to a 27 and they fit like a glove, but still more snug than I would have expected. Luckily the Pilcro jeans always relax to your shape after the first wear, but be careful on sizing! Btw, I am 5'7" and 130lbs. Other than that the color is gorgeous in person- dark with some nice grayish fading. They look more expensive than they are because of the wash I think.

new favorite in my closet!
I am really enjoying these jeans! The fit is just right and the denim is very soft. The dark wash is very nice. I am 5'8 and usually a size 10/12. The rise is high which is wonderful for me as I carry extra weight in the stomach area. I recommend this style of Pilcro jeans. I have a different pair of Pilcro that do not fit as well as these. Go ahead and buy them already!!!

Perfect Fitting Jeans
Just bought these today and I LOVE the fit. They're high waisted, yet don't bind at the waist, fits the legs snuggly (I've got skinny legs so hard to find jeans that don't bag there) and super comfortable. I wish they made these in white. Pilcro brand has high quality as the other name brand jeans, yet less in price. Winner!
It's hard to find white jeans that aren't too thin and see through. these are perfect as the other reviews mentioned. I bought a 25 (my usual size) and they fit perfectly. They are kind of long on me because I am only 5 feet tall. I just cuff them and they look great. The only thing I would mention is that the distressed look varies by pair. The pictures shows having a rip in both legs. Mine only has the tear in one, which I am fine with. I might suggest going to an Anthro store to pick out which pair you like the best if you have that option.

Perfect white jeans
I love these - though they definitely run small. I'm generally a size 25 across the board, but I got these in a 26 and they're even still pretty tight. Don't be offset by the sizing, though. They get comfortable after just one wear.

Great White Jeans!
Finally, a pair of white jeans that are cool and comfortable! Denim is a good weight... Not see thru, but not too thick. I decided to go one up from my regular size and ordered the 27 (usually 26 in jeans, 5'4", 115lbs) and they fit perfectly!! The deconstructing will add some "edge" to my summer looks!!
Do not hesitate to try these jeans if you van afford them at all. I felt so guilty after I ordered and was sure I would return them to my local anthropologist upon receipt. But they fit so perfectly, I would now happily pay even more for them. They make my legs look long and lean, and my backside pert!!!! I have not experienced any "baggy butt" with these either, they just keep their shape through wear after wear! They are long so you might have to hem them, but I am 5'9 with long legs and they fall perfectly with a mid heel. The rise is perfect on my 50 year old body as well. Love the easy returns that anthropologist offers...no reason not to try them if you can afford the splurge!

Best jeans ever
These jeans are totally worth it! They look amazing, the quality is great and the material is so soft-they are the comfiest jeans I've ever worn.

Can I just express how happy I am that flare jeans are back?! And no fakey whiskering or strange over faded butt/thigh zone on these babies! The wash is beautiful. The quality of the fabric and stitching is evident when you try them on and the waist is perfect height. I got the 31 size, I am 5'6 140lbs and maybe I don't look as good as the model but I feel pretty good in these :) The only complaint I have is that I wish they were offered in short, reg and tall lengths. I will have to get them tailored, which I hope doesn't ruin the silhouette.
