I agree with previous reviews. These pants are fabulous. The style is fresh and new, the fit is comfortable and soft, and, as jeans tend to do, they go with everything. They also add style to what might be a casual outfit due to their design. The high waist makes them just a little bit dressier as well. I got the darker wash version and find the wash very "I've had these dark jeans for years," rather than looking like they came that way. Natural, comfortable, stylish.
My only "complaint" is the length. Though I am only 5'5", I normally can wear regular length jeans, only occasionally getting pairs I wear with heels or wedges hemmed for length. With these, I HAD to go with petite and there is still quite a bit of fabric bunching at the bottom. To wear with 3-4 inch heels/wedges, I still need to do about a 1 inch hem to keep them from dragging. This is not at all a deal breaker, but they run LONG.
Overall, a great stretchy, fun and chic style and fabulous fit! Love these.

Love these jeans!
I have a long torso, so high-rise jeans aren't always THAT high-rise on me. These, however, were perfect. Very flattering cut. There is just the right amount of stretch so that they are neither too stiff nor too "jegging-like". The wash looks exactly like the picture online. They are quite long so they will definitely need to be worn with wedges/heels. I feel like this is the aesthetic they were designed for, though, so I do not see this as a con. As the 70's inspiration enters this spring/summer, these will be right on-trend, but will also remain a staple in my closet long after the "trend" has ended for all the reasons above.

These will make your legs looks GREAT
I tried these at my sister's recommendation. She's actually in LOVE with this style. I wasn't disappointed. They make my legs look like they go on for miles. Also, can I say I am so happy that there is a style other than skinny jeans coming around? They're a bit stretchy with makes them very comfy. Hopefully, they don't stretch out too much with wear.
My only complaint is the length. I'll probably need to have them altered if they don't shrink up a bit in the dryer. I 5'8" and even with a four inch heel they still bunch up at the bottom due to the long length. Great for really tall girls though!
These are my new go-to jeans. The denim material has just the right amount of stretch, the color is just want I wanted and at 5'4" the length hits right at my lower ankle. I loved the figure flattering fit so much that I'm buying up other Verdugo styles.

I am a diehard AG Stevie ankle fan, but after trying these on in the store, decided that they were a must have. Like AG, they are made in the US, which is a huge plus in my opinion. The quality is great, and I know that someone is getting a proper wage to make them! I'm 5'3, and they hit right at my ankle. I'm going to preface the following by saying that I don't have much in the way of a bootie. The fit is nice, fabric is smooth, and hugs in the best way possible. Form fitting without feeling tight or restrictive. I found them to sit a little higher than most jeans. They felt snug without being tight, but after sitting or bending down, I found that they slid down a little at the back. For this reason, I really wish I had sized down. On me, I found that they sat higher in the front than they did at the back, so I think they would work best for someone with absolutely NO bootie...not necessarily skinny, just no bootie. Other than that, I am really happy with them. I haven't washed them yet, as I've only worn them once, but I do hope I'm able to shrink them a bit. FYI, I'm 5'3, size 10/12, and I got the 32...wish I had got the 31.

My favorite (mid-weight) jeans
I wear these jeans all the time. Out running errands during the day. Walking the dog. Brunch with my friends. To a date night dinner. They fit like a dream compared to other labels. I don't know why others think these jeans are pricey considering that there are jeans (here at Anthropologie) that cost >$200. Considering how much wear I get out of these jeans and the fact that they have no issues being washed (fading, stretching, shrinking), I feel like I get my money's worth owning these jeans.
I love these jeans but unlike the previous reviewer I did not find them true to size. I am ALWAYS a 26 in Pilcro- I have several pairs of different styles and washes, and I could barely pull these over my thighs in the 26. I sized up to a 27 and they fit like a glove, but still more snug than I would have expected. Luckily the Pilcro jeans always relax to your shape after the first wear, but be careful on sizing! Btw, I am 5'7" and 130lbs. Other than that the color is gorgeous in person- dark with some nice grayish fading. They look more expensive than they are because of the wash I think.

new favorite in my closet!
I am really enjoying these jeans! The fit is just right and the denim is very soft. The dark wash is very nice. I am 5'8 and usually a size 10/12. The rise is high which is wonderful for me as I carry extra weight in the stomach area. I recommend this style of Pilcro jeans. I have a different pair of Pilcro that do not fit as well as these. Go ahead and buy them already!!!

Perfect Fitting Jeans
Just bought these today and I LOVE the fit. They're high waisted, yet don't bind at the waist, fits the legs snuggly (I've got skinny legs so hard to find jeans that don't bag there) and super comfortable. I wish they made these in white. Pilcro brand has high quality as the other name brand jeans, yet less in price. Winner!
These caught my eye because of the details. Love the tough carpenter style mixed with delicate paint splashes (look more like soft focus polka dots). I sized down in these, though they are probably made to be worn really slouchy, but I already own a pair of boyfriend jeans. They also taper down towards the bottom, which means you can roll them up easily.

Better in person
I would not have given these a second look online, but when I saw them in the store, I had to give them a try, although, I wasn't immediately sold on the paint spots, but I came around when I put them on. They are a slouchy style, so I had to size down, and even still they have a relaxed look. Highly recommend.

BUY THESE NOW!
These jeans are so soft, so comfortable and unique enough to set them apart from any other denim you own. The picture does not do them justice. I am usually a 27, but went with a 26 for a more fitted look. I will be living in these gems for the rest of the year and then some.
Amazing pants, stretch and a bit of distressing. I like my pants to fit tight, I don't love the baggy look so I ordered down a size and they are perfect. I wear a size 27 in AG jeans but I ordered a 26 and I couldn't be happier.

I splurged on these and I'm glad I did. These jeans are comfortable, stretchy enough for comfort but not overly elastic to show all the flaws of your bottom. The rise is high enough to flatten the stomach with comfort. I usually size 27 for Hei Hei pants but bought the 28 Pilcro. I'm 120# 5'5, curvy at bottom. Really cute stripes, great comfort, perfect length. Love it.

The cutest jeans!
The online photos don't do these jeans justice. They are a blue-and-white vertical stripe, with the typical soft Pilcro stretchy fabric, and super flattering. These are mid-rise and nice and snug, good elasticity. I wear a 26 in most jeans sizes and wear a 26 here too. The inseam was perfect on me, and I'm 5'4". Wish they had more colors!
I've been on the hunt for a boyfriend jean for over a year. At 5'4", the width & slouch of most just wound up looking baggy and adding width. I'd pretty much decided the boyfriend look was better left to very tall, thin women. As a last ditch effort, I decided to try these. Fantastic! Comfort - check. Flattering - check. Perfect color - check. Really high quality. I could go for something with a little less distressing, but it's not over the top on these. I did size down one size; normally a size 27 in AG (126 lbs, relatively hourglass shape), I went with 26 in these. Could possibly have gone down 2 sizes, but I did want to maintain the comfort, casualness & look of a boyfriend. Really great with a tucked in shirt & belt, booties, pumps, flats, sneakers, espadrilles, etc. Great change of pace to all my skinny jeans. Overpriced, but I think worth it for the perfect jean.

Beautiful Distressed Jeans
I 100% agree with the previous reviewer. I first overlooked these jeans because paying 188.00 for distressed jeans with holes seems like a lot. But I liked the color of the fabric so I tried a pair on. I also had to go down 2 sizes! I am 5'8", 142lbs, 34A. I usually wear a size 27/4 in jeans. I had to go down to a size 25. But once I figured out the correct size, they fit great! I I love these jeans and they are very comfortable and flattering. I love the length as well, I did not roll them up because I liked the length as they came to the bottom part of my ankle. It shows off a cute pair of ballet flats perfectly! I do wish that the hole on the knee had something behind it to prevent it from opening up further. Other than that, these jeans are perfect.

Another great AG option
I was trying on jeans in a store and the salesperson brought me these to try. I had kind of overlooked them because of the distressing, but I just loved them once I put them on. I sized down TWO sizes for the right fit, and I don't wear them cuffed either. I have proportionally wide hips and these fit me very comfortably. They are super-cute, and while I can't wear them to work because of the distressing I think I'll get a lot of wear out of them in my off hours.
If you are looking for a flattering, high-rise pair of skinnies, then this is it. This is by far my favorite denim I have worn. The stretchy material makes them oh-so comfortable! I will say, though, that as the day wears on, they do stretch a little more than I would prefer. I also have the Rocket High Rise Skinnies in Riverside, and I found this pair to be a bit stretchier. Consider sizing down, or possibly a belt (though I still need to find a belt to go with this pair, so I don't know how that would look with this particular style of jeans).
The look is stunning, and much more polished than, say the AG Farrah High-Rise Skinnies, which to me felt like leggings more than jeans, and thus much more insecure. THESE, on the other hand. have my confidence level through the roof! They make my legs look great, they seem to be very well-constructed, and the black wash is very dark, so it's perfect for transitioning from casual to date-night attire.
For reference, I am tall and lean with a long torso, 5'8", 128 lbs. I have a size 27, but given the stretchiness and the fact that I'm going to the gym more often now, I definitely could have gone with a 26. The length is perfect for my long legs, and hits just about where it does on the model.

Comfortable but not that great
Don't get me wrong, these jeans are comfortable, but they're not THAT flattering. I'm a little shy of 5'5 and around 130 with an athletic build..whatever that means, I run so I think I'm athletic. I'd like to believe I have a very average body. I wear a 27 in almost all jeans, and these jeans fit, but I have noticed that they stretch throughout the wear and I find myself hiking up my jeans throughout the day. Because they are listed as "high rise" and not "high waisted" I'll give CoH a break, but I think I was hoping they would be high waisted jeans, and they are not. They sit somewhere right below my belly button or at my belly button and I was hoping they would be a true high waisted jean and they definitely are not. As noted, they are stretchy, but do not look like they are stretchy and do not look like jeggings at all. The problem I have is that I don't think they are super flattering around the stomach because they are stretchy--I like structured jeans to hold my figure and not stretchy jeans where they accentuate flaws. I don't love they way the accent my nonexistent butt, but at least they don't make my butt look saggy. Other CoH jeans have given my rear a nice lift appearance, but I wouldn't say the same thing is true for these. Super comfortable, maybe size down because they are high waisted, and they're a little long on me--nothing a quick hem couldn't fix ( I have really short legs). I'll probably end up returning these only because of the price. I like them, but I don't "just like" them enough to keep for $178.

Citizens are my favorite denim brand, and the Rocket is my favorite style. In fact, I own several pairs of them. As always, the cut is super flattering, the material is soft while holding you in, and the color is a super saturated black. In addition, you can easily dress these up or down depending on the occasion. I took my regular size in these.
