This skirt 's design is a simple A-line midi, but the huge polka dot black and white pattern is show stopper! I was initially somewhat suspicious about the look that it would produce (I am not friends with large contrasty patterns), but or my, I am gave I gave it a shot! I mostly experimented pairing it with solid tops, and it always looked amazing. Very romantic, but at the same time bold, making a statement.
In terms of sizing, you may want to try on your size and the next size down. My usual 10 was fine but the waist came a tiny bit lower than natural waist. I sized down to an 8, which had little difference from 10 but a slightly narrower waist line, which put the skirt a little higher on my figure, right at natural waist. The look was noticeably better this way so it is my impression the skirt is meant to sit high on your waist, and you may need to size down to achieve that.
I can visualize this skirt paired with a white wrap blouse as well, which will accentuate your waist and produce a classic, flirty look. A classic!

this is now my new favorite skirt! it has great structure but still flows very nicely and the detailing is high quality as expected from anthro. i would say it definitely runs large because i am 156 lbs and ended up purchasing a size 2 (unheard of). however, i have a small waist so it sits nicely right above my belly button and love the way it looks. all in all this is wonderful for hourglass figures! I've dressed it up with button downs and dressed it down with crop tops. looks awesome either way :)

When I went to Minneapolis, I stopped in at an Anthropologie store to look at all the beautiful things. This skirt caught my eye, but I didn't try it on or buy it. I left and thought only of that skirt and decided I had to go back the next dat and at least try it on. I am so happy that I did!
This is such a fun skirt, and since it has a simple design it can go with many different colors and patterns. I have worn it plenty of times since then and every time is a treat. The fabric is hard enough to keep shape, but soft enough to be comfortable. The extra fabric on the bottom is fun to twirl around here and there. It sits comfortably on my hips and I found it to be TTS. I am losing weight, and I think I could get the waist taken in a little and it would still be fine.
So happy with this one. If you are thinking about it, I would recommend it, because it is so versatile and lovely.
This skirt is adorable and adds nice variety to my wardrobe. The colors are outstanding-- vibrant and fun. As another reviewer noted, the pattern doesn't match at the side seam, but I found this to be excusable as the overall design is so smile-worthy. The fabric is a nice weight-- light enough for spring and summer, heavy enough not to feel flimsy. The full lining is slightly stretchy and very soft, removing the need for a slip. I wore it the first time to an art reception-- perfect.

I fell in love with this skirt the minute I saw it! It is so distinctive and I really wanted to stand out in a sea of the same old in your face graphic prints. The A line was a bit too extreme for me so I had it altered and it is my new fav! LOVE LOVE!

Abstract Expressionist skirt
This skirt has a cream ground and gorgeous tones of pinks, corals, yellows, ochres, and even a little splash of green. It is fully lined and the fabric is a nice weight. The fit is true to size. I wanted it to sit at low waist, but above my knees (I'm 5'7). I sized up from a 2 and bought the 4p and it fits perfect for me.If you like your a-line skirts to sit at your waist I'd order your normal size. I love this purchase!! The skirt looks like a work of art painted by Helen Frankenthaler!!
I totally love this skirt... but I must say that unless the model is 6'tall, it will be longer on you. I ended up with a petite... although I prefer petites typically, often I can get away without one. but this one really required the shorter length. it is super soft and stretchy.... I know it will be a summer staple for me. I wear it with one of the chambray tank tops- so cute.

I love this skirt. It's super soft and fits quite nicely. I like that it's a bit higher on the sides...a nice shape that will compliment any body type. I'm a size 14 typically and the large fits me well. It is also slightly stretchy so if a food baby comes your way there is room to grow ;)

beautiful casual spring skirt
This is a go-to spring skirt for me this season. It is a casual material but I'm wearing it to work today with heels, a plain navy knit shirt and statement necklace, and it's perfect. It's fully lined and hangs very nicely. I agree it's a little big - I am normally a 4P but ordered the XSP in this skirt and it's not tight in the waist at all. The material is stretchy and forgiving. At 5'2" I love the length in the petite - great for work or a casual dinner date!
This is a great a-line skirt! It fits very comfortably TTS and drapes very well. I'm a full-figured hourglass, and I didn't find it to be bulky or excessive at all. I'm 5'8" and the hem hits at a very flattering spot just below the knee. The skirt looks great and makes me look great, and it's very comfortable, to boot! It is definitely blue and white, and I plan on wearing it with a lot of navy, be it a top or cardigan. It's GREAT for summer!

A pretty skirt
Skirt is really adorable, and unusual, too. I am 5'2" and I ordered a size 14 as I am a bit overweight around the mid-section. The skirt fits perfectly, is made of beautiful fabric and is well-made also. It is chic and "different" looking, with its photo print on the fabric. Just a little word of warning: the website says it is black and white and it is NOT! it is blue and white, which is what I love, but if you are longing for black and white, forget it.

Great for summer!
This skirt is lovely - the fabric has a lovely drape, and it has a built-in slip/petticoat that helps it keep it's shape. I think it's well suited for an hourglass figure.
This is the most beautiful skirt I have ever owned. It's one of the most beautiful pieces in my extensive wardrobe. The material is thick and feels as expensive as the price tag. The lining is the crimson color with a light blue scalloped trim. No one will see that but you but it makes this skirt even more special and lovely. The photo doesn't do the colors justice. The red is much more vibrant. Sort of a neon red/coral color. The thick, high waisted band is so flattering. I am a solid size ten with an hourglass shape and i got the medium. I would say that if you are a size 10-12 but have some extra around the waist, size up.to a Large I plan on wearing it to a bachelorette party with a sheer, lacy black top.

Had to go back for it, because pockets
My roommates and I walked into the store and I saw this skirt right away, I was drawn to the colors. Unfortunately I couldn't afford it at that time (college student), however the next morning my roommate told me about a sale that was going on for Mother's Day Weekend and I immediately went back for the skirt. It is so soft and vibrant and IT HAS POCKETS. I can't wait to wear it all summer and I'm excited that it is now a staple in my ever expanding wardrobe.

I had been eyeing this one online for a few days, and finally tried it on at my local anthro 2 days ago. This skirt is beautiful flattering, and the bright bold colors make it so special. I can't wait to wear it. I am typically a Large on anthro skirts, but this one sits higher on the natural waist, and the medium fit nicely.
I just received this today and I love it! It is super soft to the touch, slight sheen in the fabric. It is lightweight and drapes beautifully. I went with the petite size even though I never wear petites because I wanted something that hit closer to my knees like in the picture (the regular size would have come close to my ankles). I think it runs big because based on the size chart it seems to fit more like a 2P than the 0P that I got. That's ok because I would rather wear it lower on the waist. A great not-so-basic basic.

The skirt runs a bit big. It is so soft and is flattering. I think it will be great for a change from pants in those hot summer nights. Still casual, yet a bit elevated from the rest of the crowd!

I found this skirt ran a little bit small in waist. I sized up so that it fit lower on hips, which also made it a little longer, which works for me since I'm tall.
When I saw this skirt online I was going to wait to get it in store but realized that I needed it and I'm so glad I ordered it! I usually wear a 4 in Anthro bottoms and this skirt fits TTS in my opinion. It's the perfect weight for summer and is incredibly versatile. I know this is a closet staple I'll wear for years to come!

Cute in theory
Thought this would be a great casual skirt for summer and was thrilled see online that it was in stock at my local Anthro. They had to search in back for it though and the sales associate just grabbed a 4 to see if this was what I'd described to her. It was a regular, not petite and I usually wear a 2 but thought I'd just see. As the other reviewer described, it's a pull on with elastic in the back only. To be honest, I had a really hard time pulling it up over my hips but when I finally wiggled into it, the back waist sagged and there was too much volume in the skirt. It was still above my knee and I would have tried a smaller size but don't think I could have gotten it on. Don't know what to say about the sizing. Had there been more stretch to the elastic in the back or had the buttons actually opened in the front, I guess it would be true to size. I'm 5'1" 115 and an hourglass shape with a 10" differential between my waist and hips. Perhaps it would work for a straighter figure, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. If it fits you, I think you'd like it.

tight in waist but worth it
As the other reviewers mention, this skirt is elasticized only in the back - I'm curvy on the bottom so I could not pull it on that way, but instead pulled it down over my head. I have a small waist, but bigger hips, so it fit perfectly once I got it on. I'm keeping it because it's a great casual skirt that I anticipate will get much use this spring/summer. I am 5'2" and ordered the regular, it hit right above the knee which is where I like the length in a casual skirt.
