    worth the wait
we tried 4 times to order this gorgeous dress for Prom. It would sell out the minute a small size appeared. We finally snagged a O....it is elegant fabric, beautiful deep blue, flows beautifully with a bit of "poof: but not too much. worn on someone 5'7", 122 lbs, and the 0 was right on. If you have any kind of a chest, you may want to go up one size. The details on the back are lovely as well.

Wore this as a prom dress and it was beautiful! But be aware, if you are under 5'6'' the train will be quite long (might require tailoring)

    Perfect Petite Fit
Lucky to be able to try this on in store. I am an extreme fit poster child, and this is PERFECT in everyway for my 00P skinny self. The material is substantial but not heavy. the bodice detailing of lovely. This would be a wonderful summer to fall piece and is on my next purchase list.

    perfect summer dress
The dress is simply and beautifully cut, and the fabric is great. It is flattering to an hourglass figure. The cutout at the back is cute, and just high enough to hide a bra strap. Planning to wear it to work with a cardigan, and on its own out after work. It is classic with a twist, like the rest of the Eva Franco line. Paid full price, which I don't do often, and it is worth the price.

    Old school anthro LOVE!
Love the dress and that is all I have to say! Let's bring these types of dresses back at a reasonable price and style! the stripes are med. gray with black grossgrain ribbon at the waist. Runs small so size up one size! If you have a larger, well endowed bust maybe 2 sizes, which I don't even have! I have broad shoulders so I needed one size up. It is very gorgeous with all types of solid color cardigans.

    Attractive dress but runs LARGE
I loved the look of this dress in the photo. The color and style, plus the fact that it is pull-on styling really appealed to me. Based on a previous customer review I ordered the dress in a size XSP and XXSP. For reference I am 5', 105 lb.., with a 32D chest. The fabric is very stretchy with a lot of give and the dress does run large. I am keeping the XXSP. The XSP was just too large with no shape at the waist. The XXSP still had plenty of room. The length hit me below the knee. I love the color, the gingham pattern and the floral pattern at the top of the dress. The color is beautiful. Just beware when ordering that the dress does run on the large side and the fabric is very stretchy. I would size down. I am giving it 4 stars because it does run large. It is also a heavier fabric. Great for Chicago Summers but may be too heavy for really hot and humid climates.

    Runs large
This dress runs large, so definitely size down. I ordered the smallest size, and it was still too big. It's a slightly heavy knit fabric, very stretchy, so I imagine it will be very comfortable.

    Pretty Dress
This dress runs large. I initially ordered a size up, since in most anthro dresses, I have to size up due to being busty. But I was swimming in it. So I exchanged it for my usual size. My usual size fits well on me around the bust area, but the waist is loose. I know if I exchange for next size down, it might be tight around the bust, but perfect around my waistline. Any other dress I would have returned, but it is a pretty dress. (will have to use a belt) If you are not busty, definitely order down. (The next size down or two). The fabric is stretchy - so definitely order size down.

    Runs tight in the chest
Beautiful dress. I bought in a M, my usual size and it was uncomfortably tight around my ribs/chest. Im a 38B for reference. Its also really overpriced I returned it. I am on the fence about buying it a size large, its such a pretty print.

    Wanted to love this dress!
Loved the print and styling, it was just too long!

    Classy
This dress is a beautiful color and is soft and stretchy. It IS long, but I am 5' 9" 128 pounds and a Medium fits perfectly, just barely brushing the floor in flat sandals.

    Perfect
I am always skeptical about rompers because I am 23 years old, 5"2, 95 lbs (so small without curves) and rompers tend to overwhelm my frame or look really sloppy. But I loved the dark burnt orange color. So I tried it on and instantly fell in love. I still decided to order a petite xs ( my usual size) and I loved it even more. Its really cute and classy looking. Not too revealing. You can dress it up easily or wear it casually. It fits in all the right places. Its perfect!

    LOVE IT!!!
I am 5'5 and weigh 160 lbs. I haven't ever found a romper that would work until this one. It was soooo cute in the window that I had to try it on. Surprise...surprise...It fit perfectly. I am very busty but even that wasn't a problem. The material is very soft and cool to wear. The romper is flattering in all the right places. I was happy to pay the price point for such an adorable outfit. A little worried about wrinkling in the heat...and humidity...but I think I can work around that. I hope this helped!

    Warm Weather Versitilty
I live in Hawaii so I'm always happy to find styles at Anthro that suit the warm, humid weather here. This is a great romper because the material is very nice. It has a good substantial feel to it but is still airy and breathable. I like the "bronze" color, it looks the same as pictured. The straps are adjustable and the waist has some elasticity plus a drawstring, making this easy to tailor once on. It does run true to size: Since you have to pull it up over your hips and then slip arms through, it's best to not size down. I'm 5'4" 125lbs, size 6/8 pants and 34C bra, and I like the way the small petite fits just right but I'm wondering if I'd like the regular small a bit better, to have a little extra length and flowiness. It's short, but not immodest since it's not tight-fitting. It'll work with slippers in the day or dressed up a bit with accessories and a dressier sandals for night out. Overall, very good quality at a good price!

    Perfect in every way
This dress has everything I look for in a summer dress: beautiful print, comfortable fabric and feminine style. I'm size 2-4 in dresses and size xs in this one fits perfectly with a little extra room in the waist, which I prefer, and I recommend to size down if you're in between sizes.

    Rehearsal Dinner Dress
Just left the store with this! I tried it on and got tons of compliments! It's a beautiful dress! I'm normally a medium in this store, but this dress runs just a tad bigger. I'm 5'4" and weigh roughly 137 lbs. The small fit perfectly!

I am not the norm or target size or age for any designer; at 63 and AA special order bras AND 5'2" no one is looking to "please" me. I am a DRESS person - as pants, shorts and skirts mostly never fit. With that said, the wide range of different designers at Anthro is a plus as I do occasionally find a regular 0 that fits ME, but also there are the 00petites that fall off. THIS sun dress is the later - the best feature should be the pleated, fitted bodice but the 00petite that I was luckily able to try at my favorite Atlanta store (now 5 in our area :)) - Lenox Mall. The material is a nice sturdy cotton - outside and in. The IDEA is good and without being too baring, this is a more flexible sun dress idea. The pattern on the one I tried was more background than print. The print colors are not bright. Overall the quality and design idea is good but you will need to be able to "fill" the bodice to get the right fit. Trying on in store is always best SO ANTHRO: MORE IN-STORE PETITE DEPARTMENTS, PLEASE!

    May work for some
This is lovely, of excellent quality and with a great print. However, if the waist does not hit you in the right spot, it won't work. It should be higher, then it would fit just about everyone as an empire waist--appropriate for a maxi dress. As it is, on me (34-26-36, 5'6" and a long waist), it fits as neither an empire waist (because it sits too low) nor at my true waist (the top section is rather wide), so it was not flattering. That is why the model is standing the way she is--to obscure this.

    A toss-up pros and cons
Interesting cut and fabric design. More casual in feeling than other caftans I own. Great fabric is not too sheer. Attached slip runs very small, My only concern is the amount of fabric that bunches out from midriff area. In a more loosely cut caftan, fabric would fall in softer folds from the shoulder, neckline and arm areas. Here fabric is gathered quite tightly in at raised waistline and I find that gives a look of much larger hips as so much fabric falls from the tighter folds down adding quite a bit of bulk at hip line...Maybe the horizontal stripe pattern adds to this effect The width at the bottom is no greater than other caftans. I am a big fan of Ranna Gill but am going to think carefully about keeping this one at full price for that reason. I like that it is definitely 3 seasons and less dressy.than others. Dress fits TTS but is not form fiitting

    LOVE this top
I bought this dress for a house wedding in Park Slope, NY. I LOVED wearing it. This is MY dress to 'wear three ways." I've also worn with a flowy card out for dinner with my husband. AND I wore with a black more fitted/conservative cardi and heels for work. I LOVE the black and white bold, but sophisticated pattern. The little checks add light throughout. And the combination allows for a lot of accessory choices. For me, it fit a little small--I wear anywhere from a 2 to a 6 depending on brand, and found the 4 was way too tight- ended up with the 6. (I.m a 36B) The fabric IS stiff, but I did not find it to bunch. Instead, it felt like it held me in at the top very well and had a nice line from the waist down- fairly straight. I love the length- it balances the straplessness and avoids that skater/flouncy look that is not for me. Overall, a dress that you can wear to a wedding AND wear on a more casual occasion is one I like to have in my closet!

    Great quality!
This dress is great quality! The problem for me was the fabric; it's stiff and gathers around the tummy and hips.. The dress made me look chubby and I'm not. It's going back. If the fabric was lighter and would drape, I think this dress would be a keeper.

    Gorgeous
This pic does not do this dress justice!! I saw it in the store and as soon as I put it on i knew I had to buy it....2 other girls saw me trying it on and loved it so much they bought it 2! The silk feels so luxurious on ur skin! I wear a belt with it and sometimes without, either way I wear it still looks amazing!! you will not be disappointed with this dress.

    Gorgeous and so easy
If pink and earth-tones and shift-silhouettes suit you, grab this dress. It is beautifully made, feels wonderful on, and the print is just lovely. I am 5'3" 116lb, and the regular XS fitted me best. It came to about 2" above my knee, which is about as short as I like to go. I tried the Petites XS as well, but that came to 4" above my knee, and I felt looked less elegant and more boxy on my frame. The only flaw this dress has for me was that it makes me look a bit shapeless up top (I am 34C), but more well-endowed ladies will probably fill the dress better.

    A great dress!
This dress isn't as short as it appears on the model - I'm 5'4" and it is a perfect length for me. I wore this dress to a casual rehearsal dinner, to the office, on the weekend - it's terrific. It is loose-fitting, yet not boxy - it is lined, comfortable and people stop me and ask where I got the dress...so glad I bought it! Highly recommend this dress to any and all body types.

    LOVE this dress!
I really love this dress, just what I was looking for. Simple yet a little bit of style. Runs true to size to a little small which is great for me as I am a true XS/size 0, 5'4", 100#. Got the XS and it's perfect even in length. I'm not tall but long in the legs so XS is what I need but is often too short. This is perfection, came back to buy the other color. Great quality too!

    Cheap Material
I tried this on in my local store. I really like the idea of this dress and it fits well. The bodice is really pretty. BUT, the fabric of the skirt feels really cheap. It is not real linen, although it looks like it in the picture. The stitching also looks poorly done. Even when it was 25% off, I couldn't justify the purchase. I might get it on clearance.

Flattering style, a bit small up top
I am 5'7", pear shaped, 145 lbs and usually a size 8 or M top and bottom. The medium in this dress was fairly tight around my chest, and mind you I am a 34B so I am not exactly overflowing in the boob department. The medium fit and looked flattering, even though snug, so I tried on a large just to see the difference. MUCH better and less restrictive even though I am rarely ever a large. The large hits me right at the knee, which is perfectly appropriate for office wear. I do agree with other reviews that getting in and out of the wrap part of the dress can be a challenge! The cut of the dress is very flattering for those without perfectly flat abs, or for pear shapes like me who have plenty of hips/rear to spare! The flowy bottom isn't too billowy. It is just enough where it is loose but doesn't make you look bigger than what you are. Overall, this is a versatile dress I can dress up with the right shoes and accessories, dress down by pairing with sandals, or throw a cardigan over it and wear it to work.
