Delicate and Whimsical: Makes you feel pretty!
I love this top (in the blue floral patten)! If I had only seen it online, I probably wouldn't have paid attention to it. But I first noticed it in the store. I was drawn to a folded stack of very soft looking, subdued, very light light fairy wings cloth. I picked up one of the pieces, shook it out, and realized it was a very dainty, airy top. I can't really describe how pretty this is, but even though it's polyester, it feels super soft. It's a high quality polyester and enjoys those special little touches that Anthro built its name on: sweet little pleated touches, both vertically (down the back) and horizontally (along the bottom hem), ruffled tissue hemline that is longer in the back and along the sides, a very delicate vertical striped/corded pattern/texture, and a sheer airiness that feels pretty and delicate. This is trapeze cut, but the proportions work really well for narrow frames in the petite size: closer cut around the chest, small armholes, and perfect placement on shoulders. It's roomy without feeling billowing or like there's too much fabric, and hangs really really well. This doesn't look like a maternity top, even though there's enough room to accommodate if you are expecting. For reference, I bought the XSP and I'm 31.5-22.5-33.5, 5'2, small bust. Recommended for all.

    lovely tunic
I was so excited for this pretty top to come in the mail. When I opened the package i was a bit surprised to see that the red color that was offered was more of a rusty red than a burgundy/purple - either way that didn't stop me from loving it! I wore it that night with some destroyed black skinnies & a bo-ho sweater + some booties. it's perfect for dressing up or down and very versatile. I can imagine the ivory being even more so, but I already have a top like that....but that might not stop me from getting that color too! 5'3, 110lbs, 34B, got an xs - top has a flowy/oversiezed fit.

The first thing I reach for...
The other reviewers are right on about this top: the side slits are a tad high, the neckline is a tad low, it runs a tad short, and it wrinkles if you let it cool in the dryer. But even with all those mini-problems, I am absolutely in love with this shirt and wear it constantly. The pattern reads as bright and cheery, but not so bright it's going to compete with your face for attention. VERY flattering. I wear it without a camisole at home on the weekends and just let a cute bra peek out here and there, but it definitely requires something more beneath for work. It goes with absolutely anything. And it's exactly the sort of (washable!) blouse that I can throw on when I'm running around with my kids and feel cute and completely appropriate (stains not a problem) at the same time. I paid full price (which I never do) and it was worth every penny. This plus skinnies plus ankle boots and you're good to go!

    Pretty Pattern
Contrary to other reviewers i feel the arm size is perfect, if not a bit large. I wear this top tucked in, and it does wrinkle at the bottom where it's tucked as the other reviewer complained, but since it's tucked you can't see that anyways. Wrinkling on the rest of the top during the day is not an issue. Also I don't see what people are saying about the back hem being cut abnormally shorter than the front? Mine does not have this issue at all. However there are very deep slits on the sides that do make tucking difficult because they go above the belt line about an inch. In agreement with others the fall leaf floral pattern is really stinkin' cute! It is cut very deep in the neck and I wear with a colorful tank otherwise it's guaranteed to flash people. Also the tank helps skin not show on the sides in that inch above the belt line where the side slits go up too far. The rayon makes this really flowy and soft. :) fits TTS

    Lovely shirt-runs small though!
I saw the Llama's in my local anthro today, and being a lover of animal print tops, I had to have it. I have found the Maeve tops this season are running a little smaller than normal. I am a 36C, 5'8" and usually wear a 6 or 8 in all anthro tops. I tried the 8, and it seemed a bit too fitted for the style of the top, (which I think was styled on the model as a bit looser fit) so I ended up sizing up to a 12. I was shocked, but the length is better, and it's not too tight on the arms, nor does it pull across the chest. Don't be afraid of the larger size when you size up in this top- it's worth it if you love it!

    Beautiful Colors
I fell in love with the coloring in this blouse and couldn't wait to get it home. The colors are as vivid in person as they are in the photos. The front and sleeves are a blouse material and the back is more like nice t-shirt material, making it even more unique. No quality issues with this at all though. I would typically take a medium petite in this, which is what I ordered, but the petite size emphasized my stomach in the wrong way, so I exchanged it for a regular medium, which I kept. For reference, I am 5'3", 36C, and curvy. I have worn this with the sleeves up and down and it works well either way. Very pleased with this purchase even though I wish it was lined rather than needing a camisole..

    so lovely
I think it should be said that Anthro may need a new photographer. Or stylist. Or something. These photos are not depicting what the items really look like, and I think this top should be photographed on a brunette, or at least someone not so fair. I would never have looked at this top online. It looks so bad on the modelcompared to real life. I usually take a small in Tiny tops, but I took the xs in this one. For reference, I'm 5'7", 117, 34C, so sometimes the xs tops are a little tight, but this is incredibly flattering. It's low so I'll wear a cami, but the easy fit is so flattering, I can't wait to wear it. And the price is fabulous.

    Such a pretty blouse
Every time I wear this blouse I get compliments. It's lightweight and comfortable. You can dress it up or down. The back is a jersey fabric and the front is silk. Great combination.

    Nice quality and great cut
I always hesitate for a second before buying a peasant blouse (sometimes they're large and overwhelming), but I felt that this one was cut really well. I tried on a regular XS in the store, and it was large. I ordered the XXS petite, and found that the fit was great. The proportions are balanced, the body isn't too boxy but it has flow. The sleeves are slim enough to not overwhelm your body, but they have movement. I like that the gathering detail at the shoulders add interest but lie relatively flat, and the neckline is not too high but not too low and can also be adjusted a bit depending on how the front is tied. The colors are vibrant, and the silk is high quality. One thing that may not be universally appealing is that the cuffs are elastic and may be a little tight. They bunch slightly when I wear the shirt under a sweater. Generally, though, it's a great blouse.

This shirt is beautiful. The colors are vivid and the material is light and falls nicely. The shirt is slightly more fitted than the average peasant blouse, though it's still a little billowy in the waist for hourglass shapes. I generally wear a medium, and a medium fits nicely in this shirt. This shirt will be in heavy rotation from now until summer!

    Beautiful peasant top
I usually stay away from peasant tops because of my hourglass shape but this top it fitted in the middle and bottom . Very pretty print. I am usually a small or a medium and I took a medium because it is fitted on the bottom.

    Love this top!
I bought this top for a work party and I have found excuses to wear it all the time now. I have the blue which is a really bright and vibrant hue. I wear a cami underneath just incase the middle part is a little see through... I don't think it is because there is a backing to it, but I did catch a few glimpses of my bra so I put the cami on. I am 5'2" , 32B and I usually wear a 0P or 2P... in this case I had to order a 00P because the top was so huge and boxy. The 00P also fits better lengthwise. Happy I bought this and would recommend to a friend, I would just size down.

    Very elegant
I love the rich colors of this blouse-- I tried on the royal blue. Although it is 100% poly, it's high-quality, I thought it was silk. Although I have sometimes had to size down with Maeve designs, my regular size 6 worked better than the 4; which gaped between buttons at the upper chest level; for ref. 5'8", 135 lbs, 34-B. The lace is solid and adds a beautiful vertical dance to the whole piece.

    Crescent Street Button-down
Ordered this blouse in blue after trying on and seeing the red in store. The red is quite dull, but the blue is beautiful. I went a size up with this shirt due to the tightness of the sleeves. I usually wear a 0 in Maeve shirts, but bought the 2 and it is much more comfortable. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

    Almost but not quite
I was first drawn to the color of the top based on the on-line representation. It arrived a great color but not as vibrant as I'd hoped. The photo looks bright magenta and in reality, a flat magenta. Not a problem; I still love the color. The problem is the cut. The front is lovely with all the pintucks, design angles, and lace detailing. I feel it is meant to be worn untucked to show off this beautiful detailing. The back of the shirt falls flat, however. It hangs straight like a regular blouse with nothing other than some minimal pintucks & a keyhole opening at the neckline. When untucked, the view from the back is quite unattractive, even sloppy looking. This flaw wasn't enough to make me return it, so I ran the lower back through the sewing machine and added some elastic gathers to give the back some shape. Now, I couldn't be happier with the color, fit, and style.

    Gorgeous blouse
This blouse is absolutely beautiful. It is a very unusual color and the style, fit, and fabric are all spot-on.

    Lovely but size down
The color is amazing! Slightly shimmery spots with pretty tiny silver buttons. The edges of the ruffles at the neck and arms are just barely fraying which adds a whimsical butterfly effect. :). I love that it's sheer, but too much so in the back for me, the front ruffles help conceal that area, but I will definitely wear a cami with this. I ordered my usual size small online, but I wish I would have gone XS this time, because the arms are a bit too poofy and torso is much wider than the usual size S Anthro top. I will probably exchange for the XS or at least go try it on to compare. For reference I'm 5'6" 135 athletic build.

Perfect for nursing mamas and tall girls!
My wardrobe has been really restricted lately because I'm breastfeeding. I have been so sick of having to wear waffle-knit henleys and flannel button-front tops just so I can nurse easily. This top is so functional for nursing, and the lace detailing in the back is so pretty and feminine. I'm normally between an XS and a S at Anthro, and the XS is perfect. Looks so cute with or without a cami, depending on whether you want to show a little skin in the back. It's also a great length for those of us who are on the taller side!

    Cute fun fall top
I adore this top, such a fun way to transition into fall. I have this in the plaid print and loved it so much that I purchased this pattern as well. The shirt looks great from the front but the lace surprise in the back makes the shirt. The material is a soft gauzy fabric with a little stretch. Runs a little on the big side but it works for the style shirt. I can't wait to wear this with skinny jeans and ankle booties.

    lightweight summer must
I saw this shirt at an anthropologie store and decided to try it on.I reaaaally liked the lightweight material ,kind of felt like gauze which is perfect for those hot summer days when you want to wear something light and still be covered up.The color is actually a mix of different kind of blues(dark and light) which gives it a beach/ocean look. I loved it . The sleeve/underarm area runs kind of large so I decided to go for the extra small which turned out to be a perfect fit for me (I'm petite). I wasn't so thrilled about the lace back but finally liked it when I actually put it on. Gives it a unique touch.
