Just want to say I really don't feel this top is maternity looking at all. Of course it is always a personal preference thing! It is long & flowy but not overwhelming on my small frame of 5'3". Looked adorable w/ my washed light blue skinny jeans. Not sure it wld look as appealing w/ wider style pants. The navy color w/ the white splash shaped dots appealed to me in the store so I tried on the XS & S. XS was tight in the arms. S was perfect- long & flowy, & does have a nice fall to it. Swing or tent-like style dresses/tops are not for me, but this is really an oversized long pretty blouse. I purchased the navy & white dot one in the S. Have decided to order the blue & white criss-crossed pattern I saw online. Plan to wear these tops w/ my white skinny crop jeans or denim skinnys. Might also try w/ white roll-up jean shorts for summer. May also go well w/ a skirt. Of note, the model pics pair the top w/ slims or skinnys also. At 5'3", 119#, sometimes XS, usually S in tops.

Love this flowy, bright top!
The only hitch is that I got a large and being a busty DD girl with pregnancy boobs there is a slight gap between two buttons, which is easily fixed with some fabric tape. I'm actually 6 months pregnant and got my usual size (I'm usually a 14/L/xl in most anthro tops/dresses) and it is ADORABLE! Super flattering. I've been buying things I can easily wear postpartum and this is one of my favorite purchases. It's light, breezy and the material feels high quality..which is a given considering the price but sometimes that's not the case with some anthro clothes. I got the blue checkered pattern and it's perfect for spring/summer.

This top is a home run! It's the perfect length for leggings and regular pants, sf it's very flattering. It has a cute swing style, yet the shoulder area and sleeves are more fitted so it doesn't look like it's big all over. It's really adorable! I wish it came in more colors, if it did I would buy more.
I normally buy from Anthropologie online, but I am so happy that I had time today to go into the store. Anthropologie dazzles the senses with its unique fabrics, design, and always the best detail. I bought this blouse in the lavender in my normal size 8. I am 5'1", 34F, 130#. I tried it in Petites as well, but the regular 8 was ideal. I was attracted to the easy drape, which definitely enhances a woman's shape and is very flattering and feminine. There is a sloping hem at the back, not too much, just perfectly covers the upper hips. The rayon has a tiny, patterned weave; buttons are matching and high quality; the back yoke has gathered detail, which enhances the fit. 3/4 sleeves have a nice, draping, current shape. This exceptional blouse completely surprised me as I was planning to just return something in a quick visit. I encourage my fellow Anthro lovers to pop into a store. Although I do very well buying online to provide me with beautiful clothing, I was blown away again by stepping into the Anthro environment. Happy Day!

Feminine and Breezy
I'm thrilled I stumbled upon this shirt in the anthro store. I went with the white, which is neither a stark white or a cream. The thread color on the buttons is a soft teal, adding a little pop (the color varies with the color of the shirt). I am a 34-D and while the size 4 fit ok, the size 6 was better. It draped perfectly, romantic and a bit whimsical; I didn't feel like I was wearing a tent which often happens with shirts of this style. The fabric is rayon, which a don't love, but in this instance, the added texture of the small diamond-esq weave created a look and feel that makes it seem more elegant.

Simple & Flattering
I bought this top in the blue to wear with the Yida Printed Wide legs. It matches perfectly! The color is beautiful- I am 5'8" and very slender and I thought the top looked great and although I have tiny arms and wrists I did not think it was swallowing me and was quite flattering. I would also like to note that it looks super cute unbuttoned with a tank underneath. Overall I think this top would look great on any size gal and in any of the colors!
Tried this in the Blue Motif. It is in no way see-through (as rayon - and Maeve tops in general - can sometimes be). It IS an infinity top, meaning, the fabric in the front "loops" underneath. Maeve did a good job here: the top is secured not only with a snap, but is also sewn shut in one area as well (about 1" above the snap closure). With that written, I would recommend a cami underneath this, just to err on the side of caution.
I have very large biceps, and very wide shoulders, so Maeve has always put me in this situation where I need a 4 for the body, but a 12 to accommodate my biceps and shoulders. This is NOT the case with this top: the size 6 fit comfortably in both the arms and in the shoulders, albeit it was slightly large in the chest area. So I would recommend sizing DOWN from your usual Maeve size, one, maybe even two sizes (the latter if you are very petite). Also the arms on this are very long; if your arms are on the shorter side, going with the Petite version of this may be a better call.
This is just a nice staple piece. And it really looks great tucked AND un-tucked (always a plus).

This skirt has a lovely sheen and the colors really pop. I ordered the size 2 and it fit well. I am not straight (have hips) and this skirt has just the right amount of flare that is does not hug my bottom too tightly. It sits well at the waist just like in the picture and the drape is perfect. I really think that this style would flatter many body types. It hits just at the bottom of my knee (I am 5'6") and is great with either boots or pumps. So glad I found this beauty!

My favorite features on this blouse are the neckline and the way the bottom front is made. This is a button-up look-a-like that you don't have to tuck in to look great. I am a true size 6 and the top fits great, although a little tight in the upper arm area, but I have somewhat muscular arms. I bought this in 3 colors before it sells out.
Even though the name of the blouse is "peasant," nothing peasant about it. First, kudos for a real silk blouse and not synthetic fabric. It may look delicate but it's well sewn. However, one must take the blouse on and off a bit more careful and a t-shirt because, after all, it's sheer silk. Speaking of sheer, this blouse is very see through so a tank top is a must. A Georgetown-DC sales associate suggested that this blouse can be worn over a tank dress, brilliant idea of multi-tasking! The fabric flows beautifully and I like the muted flower print to make the lace details shine. It shows off my figure and hides the flaws, love it. Thanks to the previous reviewer for the tips about sizing. I'm 34B and regular size Small fits me perfectly, both width and length. I haven't came across a unique blouse like this in a long time. I think it's worth the price because the designer put a lot of thought and talent into this blouse.

Beautiful feminine blouse. May run somewhat small across the chest area for broader and bigger busted women 36C and larger and for those woman I would recommend sizing up one size. Definitely see through so needs a cami. Very flattering with skinny jeans or leggings. I love the flow of the sleeves and the fitted upper back and laced detail of front and back yoke.

Love this top. Very feminine, whimsical, with a vintage look and feel. Yes, it is shear but not at the bust area where the heavier lace is. I am 5'4" 125, 34C and bought the XS.
First let me say this is a well made top that has a beautiful pattern and overall fit. I am 5'0, 135 llbs, 34D, and typically wear 6-8 in most things and the size Medium fit me very well.
With that said, I couldn't help but think I looked like I was wearing a "puffy shirt" similar to the one in an old Seinfeld episode if anyone reading this review is old enough to remember it. The one where Jerry went of the Today show and Bryant Gumbel made fun of him for it. The sleeves are just that, puffy.
Otherwise totally adorable!

A beautiful & unique top!
Ordered my usual size small & a perfect fit. The top looks as depicted in the pic & fit pretty much the same on me at 5'3", 119#. Well made, sheer & fresh white. The details describe the top well... removable tank/cami, has billowy poetic sleeves... the underarm area is very wide but I like the look. Not overwhelming or ridiculous for me. It's a keeper & think this top will be very popular!

This top is beautiful it is really full at the sleeves and one I first put it on was not crazy about it. But the more I had it on the prettier it became. It is loose but it is gathered in the back towards the waist which makes it very flattering. It seems a bit big and I could probably wear an XS and I am usually a S.
got the tunic in the mail today, and since I usually wear a size xl with anything anthro, I thought it might be a tight fit, but it fits surprisingly well, a bit roomy like the photo online, and is very comfortable. I got the light blue and love it! the fabric is a bit wrinkly, though, and when you have a well rounded bottom like mine, the back falls a bit funny - but not a deal breaker. it is longer on me than on the model, and I figure I can wear it also as a cover-up.

great slouchy summer wear
I wore this shirt the day after i bought it which is always a good sign. i'm 5'11, 36B, size 12 pants, and the Medium was a perfect fit for me but i wanted an even slouchier look so i went with the Large.
i like this shirt because it's perfect with skinnies, has great bum coverage and is very lightweight. its cute bottomed all the way up or left open with a tank underneath or anywhere in between.
the green is more of a very pale gray green, like a super light sage. i like that it has a few different textures - that adds interest to a simple top.
i washed it on delicate cycle and hung dry. it is wrinkly and needs to be steamed but that should be pretty easy since the material is very lightweight.

Love this shirt!
I just got this shirt and love it! I just wish that it came in more colors! It's very comfortable and flattering on my curvy body type. Perfect with leggings.
I am a big fan of chambray because of it's versatility, so when I saw this top I took a risk and ordered it online. I vary between Small and X-Small and was so glad I ordered the XS because it does run large. I'm a 34B and it fit just fine. I am in love with the Kimono Style sleeves, they are so fun and elegant at the same time. Also, the sleeves are flattering, they make your waste look small. While you could wear this out, I think it lends itself to being tucked in. I have so many items I can't wait to wear this with printed pants, skirts, white, black, you name it. Being chambray, it did come in the mail wrinkled, but this is to be expected of this fabric. A lovely item to stretch your wardrobe.

I love chambray and this blouse is so cute and unique. The blouse runs true to size a little more fitted at the bottom. The sleeves are flowing but not too much fabric for a petite person. The fabric is very soft and super comfortable, I actually have the pants on the model and an on wearing them together!

I love this brand, so decided to give this blouse a try. I am 5'5", 124 lb., and while I typically wear a Small, I ordered a Medium as I thought this style may be cut somewhat straighter than some of the previous blouses I've purchased from this manufacturer. The Medium is fine for me, although the Small may have been fine as well. I have fairly broad shoulders, so I can often size up. If you don't, you may prefer your regular size. The sleeves are larger as in the pictures, but they fall nicely. The fabric is a very nice quality, although I was hoping it was more light weight. It will be fine for summer time, though, and here in Southern California, I can already wear it. I love longer sleeves and a looser, more flowing fit for tops and this fills the bill. I think it will be great with capris, skirts and shorts.
