Le Petit Prince in a pop-up book... awesome! The quality is great - nice thick pages with solid pop-ups. The drawings are the same as the original charming drawings. I can picture reading this with my kids and grandkids some day! :) This is a real treasure. The only way I can think of to make it better would be to publish it with both the French & English texts (this is English only).

This is one of my favorite books and I absolutely love that it's been turned into a pop-up version using the original illustrations. The pop-up versions of the illustrations are brilliant and really enhance what was already a wonderful, beautifully illustrated story. The only thing that could make this better is if it had used the translation by Katherine Woods instead of Richard Howard, since the Woods translation is more charming. (Plus, the Woods translation is older, so it would fit better with Anthro's vintage theme.)

The first time I read this book it was in French... which is the only thing that would make this pop-up book better.
Some of the pop-up mechanisms would probably be subject to tearing and such with wear (and I don't mean being hard on the book but general wear).
The illustrations are vivid and the meaning behind the book resonates even more with the interactive interface.
"were you so sad then?" I asked, "on the day of the forty-four sunsets?"
