by craftysunday On the fence about recommending this one...
I bought two of these tanks recently, in cream and black, figuring they'd go under just about anything, which, they do. These tanks are silky, smooth, and comfortable. The tag is easily removed to make the tank reversible (I didn't even need a seam ripper, just my fingernails and some careful pulling!). Wearing them tucked in (yes, they do ride up a bit) under tees, blouses, and sweaters, they've smoothed me out and provide a nice warming layer on the colder days we've had so far this season.
Now. For the not so great part. While the black tank is in great condition after several wearings and washings (gentle cycle, lay flat to dry), the cream one is a pilled and pulled disaster. I am baffled why one tank, which I've actually worn less than the other (maybe 3 times?) and washed once, would be in such terrible shape. The surface is filled with tiny black fabric pills, and the fabric is pulled in weird ways that make it...fuzzy. It's hard to describe, so I've provided a picture for reference.
This is where I'm on the fence for a recommendation (which is required). I really like this tank, and several sales associates have recommended it to me before. Maybe certain colors have a different fabric make up that makes them wear and wash better? I don't know. I like this tank, but think it's a little risky to buy full price. Wait for a sale, if you can!

by Kjop Bringing old favorites back, love Eloise Cami's
Ok, while this one is ok, I, like another fan of the Eloise Cami's, would love to have some of the old favorites back. I had purchased two a while back which had the pretty soft, but durable lace around the neck and arms, and yes, they are getting worn out and I can't find anything exactly the same. These older ones are so wonderful, with the touch of peekaboo lace they are feminine and yet cover perfectly. Change just for the sake of change isn't always a good thing. Bring back the lace lined Cami please!

Rated 3 out of 5 by JAspen The grey is different than the other colors
The grey that I received is different from the other colors I have for several reasons:
1. It's much longer
2. The heather look must be achieved by dying the whole tank (not the thread color)
3. It bleeds color badly in the wash.
I have these tanks in black, pink, blue, and orange and just ordered three more- white, sapphire and grey. I washed the white and grey together because I wash all my other greys and whites together, and the grey tank dyed all of the whites in the load a dingy grey (including my brand new white tank.)
So, be warned- wash the grey with dark colors- and it is a different style from the rest- at least mine was.
