Rated 1 out of 5 by Mikkif8 Anthropologie, please listen to these reviews
We've had a long run together, you and I. But now you need to step up to the plate. You are selling door knobs that are pretty much useless with modern latches. I ask of you two things: (1) please buy from vendors willing to supply a complete working modern lock set with their knobs (not these that really don't turn and don't fit latches) and (2) where is your quality control on these? Yes, the knobs are beautiful but with major design flaws mechanically. Take a look at the other reviews. I'm sure those who gave excellent reviews didn't install them yet.
I will let this slide this time and am looking forward to better days ahead with you.

I saw vintage glass doorknobs in an antique store for $15, but didn't buy them because I didn't want the extra effort to make them work in a modern door. Thought buying this for $38 would be worth the extra price, assuming it would work in a standard modern door. I've changed a few doorknobs in the past few years and never had problems. My husband is very handy and had to cut down the post with a power tool to make it fit better, but still doesn't work well on our door- it doesn't always turn. The knobs had the look I wanted, but not worth the money or trouble. I've learned my lesson- I will read the reviews online first!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Autobot Who designed this thing anyway?
This is the most beautiful doorknob I've ever seen - - BUT, it is nearly impossible to get it working. My hubby is an engineer/handyman and it took him an entire evening to improvize with other parts for it to "kinda" work.
I would buy one for every door in the house, BUT again - - not worth the effort for shoddy functionality. Dear Anthropologie - - please re-design this product to actually work! I'll buy more if you do.
