Rated 3 out of 5 by Unimpressive! I sale stalked this little bag, while I thought about it's potential. When it finally arrived, I was disappointed. I must admit, it took me 5 minutes to open the front flap. I pulled, turned and finally pushed the right button to the left by accident. I feel so lame! SIZE: Small but useful. You can easily stow the essentials for a short day or evening out. Money, ID, cell phone, keys, lipstick, gum. DEFECTS: The bag I received looked shop worn and out of shape, despite arriving in a protective bag. First issue, which can be seen in the online photos, is the chain portion of the strap is not removable from the bag. Instead the hooks disconnect from the leather shoulder strap. I'm not sure what the point is. Was the the bag was assembled wrong? The hooks should be located towards the bag so the entire strap (chain and leather) can be removed to convert to a clutch. The metal rings are too hard to open so the chain ends can be turned around. The strap would take up all the space if you simply tucked it inside. One tiny bottle of lotion could ruin this bag. As I looked further I found badly sewn seams on the underside. Then I found an opening in the bottom seam of the pink pocket. I imagined my diamond studs falling through the hole, never to be seen again. LEATHER: The leather is thick and appears high quality, which is necessary to maintain structure. But it makes the bag heavy and cumbersome. The Yellow has a greenish cast, and isn't as bright as it appeared on my monitor in the online photos. The pink appears washed out. I also didn't expect the hardware to appear so distressed. If I paid the original price, I would have expected lining. Comes with a fabric storage bag. If I can't recommend at full price, I can't at a still hefty 2nd cut. Having seen it IRL, it's not as expected and will be returned. June 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cute bag, but..... This is a high quality bag and does hold quite a bit. I purchased at first cut and plan to send it back for consideration at further sale. The pros are its high quality and design. The cons are the yellow is VERY bright limiting its versatility. In addition, the chain is very long almost requiring cross body use. On the bag sent, the front lock also clanged as you walked which is annoying on a bag still over $200. Reconsider at a lower price point. April 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by If you order a yellow bag why complain its yellow? I don't understand the last reviewer's comments. It's a yellow bag. Right there in the photos: yellow is staring straight back at you. If you don't like yellow and aren't totally "down with it" then why order this bag? I dove in fully understanding and embracing the "yellow" issue. This bag is wonderful; soft, chunky, cool and attention-grabbing. The hardware is delightful, the colors rock my boat, and the quality is Frenchtastic. For the record, I would have had no problem with a bag the exact same color as the cute Anthro shots, but the yellow is a little darker and more subdued in real life. Still sufficient to scare off the meek Anti-Yellowists, but not enough to cause a riot in the Patisserie. And this bag is so adorable it deserves it's own riot, darn it! Preferably at a disco where it can boogie the night away once the police drop the charges. June 13, 2013
