Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! I'm 5.11' with a naturally large cup size (DD) but rather small back (32) so am always very leery to order fitted dresses online. I love cowl neck tops though, they're always very flattering for larger breasted women (or so I find) and this dress is just perfect in that way. I found it sizes a bit large, in that I ordered an 8 (though I'm usually a 4 or 6) after measuring myself with the sizes on the site, but it was way too big. I went down to a 6 and am happy with the look (though it could perhaps be a bit smaller on the hips and waist, the chest area can't take that, rightfully so my challenging area). All in all I love it! January 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it I had been looking for the perfect pencil dress to wear to my courthouse wedding, and the dresses in the BHLDN vein, while beautiful, are just not my style. I came across this little number and thought to myself "It's perfect in every way, except for the color!" - but only because I was trying to find something grey. I didn't have anything against navy, I just hadn't considered it. As my extensive search continued, I kept returning to this dress. The navy grew on me. I bought it. I adore it. 100% true to size, fantastic quality. I'm 5'3" and the skirt hits exactly where it should #it makes me look taller#. It's not too tight around my rear #no underwear lines#, just enought to be flattering. I deducted 1 star for design because the cowl/boat neckline looks way more effortless on the model, and for me it takes a little fussing to make it lay in a manner that doesn't look silly. But this may be due to my lack of bust #32A# After I have a little styling-practice with it, I do not believe this will be a problem, though. I look forward to wearing it at my wedding, and many times thereafter! January 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not good for small-busted women I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it online. I am always looking for great dresses that I can wear to work and thought this one was gorgeous. I was very disappointed when I tried it on, though, and found the cowlneck impossible to work with (and I usually love a good cowlneck). The dress is well made and the fabric is heavier than I expected (which I took to be a bonus). The color is a deep navy and very versatile. However, the fit was less than flattering on me. First, the dress overall was a little bit big and not fitted the way it is on the model. I had expected this as most Anthro clothes are too big for me (I ordered a size 0 and am 5'5" and 100lbs) and figured I would just have it tailored. The cowlneck was WAY too big, though. It is very fussy and looks nothing like it does on the model. I think for someone who is a bit bigger in the chest area (I wear a 32A), it may work. For me, though, no matter how much I fussed with the neckline, I could not get the cowlneck to lay properly. When I pulled the cowl down a bit instead of it just laying off to the right in a triangle, the bottom part of the cowl came into a DEEP v-neck shape that showed way too much cleavage. If the cowl was fixed, I would've kept it. That said, I still think it's a lovely dress and someone a little more well-endowed may fill out the top portion a bit better which may make the neckline lay the way it should. January 25, 2013

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
