The style of the dress is pretty true to the picture, however the color is completely different. I too thought that the dress would be a powder gray-blue, but it is a very dark charcoal. The rayon fabric (I normally think of rayon as natural and soft), feels very synthetic and looks like a fine mesh in the light. While I normally have had good look shopping at Anthro, I wanted to upload a picture for this dress so that anyone else who is thinking of buying it will be aware of what they are getting before paying to have something that looks completely different shipped.

I ordered this dress with some trepidation. The reviews were awful, about the color, fit, and fabric, but I LOVE this Danish designer (Whiite), so I decided to take a chance. I ended up being really pleased! I followed the sizing chart exactly and got a Medium, which fits very well. I could possibly have gone with a Large but it would have been very baggy. My measurements are: 32E - 27 - 37 - I am 5'3" - petite but very hourglass/curvy. I thought it fit my shape quite well. On me, the length came to about one inch above my knee, a little longer than the model and perfect. I thought the color was very accurate to what I see on my screen - a medium charcoal grey. The only detractor was the fabric. It is very slinky but feels like of like cheap rayon.

I bought this dress, hoping that I could wear it to my brother's wedding. As the previous reviewer stated, the dress that ships is not the same color. However, contrary to what the reviewer stated, the dress is more of a charcoal grey not navy. The color I didn't mind. However, when I pulled the dress out of the packaging, the dress looked much shorter than it appears online. The dress actually hits above the knee - looking like the typical type of dress that one can purchase at one of those cheesy chains that charge a fortune. It did not at all resemble this classic cut. This dress appears so elegant online and looks like a modern version of something from the 20s. In reality, the dress belongs in Vegas.
