Rated 2 out of 5 by Try on first Unfortunately this shift did notthing for my figure. I am usually a size 6 in Anthro dresses, but I usually size up for shift dresses. I tried a 6 and 8 in this dress, but both made me look like I was with child. The culprit in the rigid sequined fabric. When I bend over slightly, the fabric around the mid-section bulges out. I would't spend this amount of money on a dress that simply looks good from 1 angle. FWIW, the size 6 is about 1.5" shorter than the size 8. Both the size 6 and 8 I tried on had missing sequins around the shoulder area. I asked an SA for another size 8. For some reason, the size 8 given to me actually had the dimensions of a size 6. I guess quality control was lacking in the production of this dress? November 19, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by tricky fit This dress is so pretty. The fabric is great and the colors are just beautiful. This is not a dress I would typically be drawn to, but it just looked so fun. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. The dress is extremely well made and does have some tailoring to it- it is not just a straight up and down sack. It could have used more tailoring to it though. I am petite- but do have some 'junk in the trunk'. This dress fit fine everywhere else on my body but because my rear stuck out it created an odd pocket- a bulge of fabric- above my rear. It was very unflattering and I was so sad because if I pushed the bump inward the dress looked perfect. At this price point and with the tricky sequin fabric I did not want to and did not think it could be altered to fit my shape. I think that busty women will have a similar problem but with the front part of the dress. It is so unfortunate because the dress is so cool. As the other reviewer noted the dress did come with some missing sequins. It wasn't very noticeable but I'm sure over time it will need some repair. You have to be pretty straight up and down for this dress to fit you nicely or rather be very evenly proportioned. December 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mod style I like the design and fit but the invisible zipper almost ruined this for me, it got caught on the lining and snagged and now the lining has a little hole, all before I could try it on, but I figure I can repair it with needle and thread because I liked it so much when I tried it on , only wish the lining had been pressed better or the zipper not so tight, but beautiful fit and cool look, with the clear sequin. Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
