Rated 4 out of 5 by Very pretty, not worth the price This dress is so appealing in the photo. The materials are nice enough in quality, but the overall look could be achieved at a much cheaper store. Something about it just doesn't come across as expensive. As for the fit, I'm usually an 8, but ordered a 10 for extra length. The top was much too big, and there's no good way to have it taken in. Mainly my issue was that the top is cut much larger than the bottom - the sleeves have almost a dolman effect at the armpit, and are not as fitted as they ought to be. I have a very average frame, so I think this may be an issue in general. If it were less expensive, I'd keep it. But for the price, it should be more of a work of art as it looks in the photos. Rated 2 out of 5 by VERY narrow through the hips I bought this dress in a size 2, which is my normal size, and I have plenty of other dresses from Anthropologie in my closet to confirm this. While the Toulouse Cocktail Sheath fit perfectly well on top, there was no way I could have sat down without splitting the seams on the pink lining of the skirt. If you have any hips, booty, or basically, if you have any curves at all, stop dreaming about this dress. It won't fit. November 28, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by biggest dissappointment ever i watched this dress for MONTHs, literally months, waiting for it to go on sale. so when the 25% off dresses came this past weekend, i ordered it immediately. per anthro style, it was delivered quickly and it was wrapped in beautiful paper and i couldnt wait to open my planned dress for new years eve. however, when i pulled the dress out of its packaging, i could not have been more disappointed. the top is way too wide, which i saw in the reviews but didnt think itd be an issue because im a 34 D up top and figured a little extra room couldnt hurt. wrong. it's not just roomie- it's poor fitting. and the lace is not soft- in fact, it almost feels plastic, and just very, very cheap. the colors are brighter in person and look gaudy on. the fit is poor, the material is ugly, and this has been the only dress from anthropologie i have ever purchased and been disappointed with. i will be returning it immediately, because it's really not worth the 288 price tag. luckily anthropologie is an incredible store and has plenty of other options, but still... cannot mask my disappointment with this one, especially when i had been so in love. Size Guide

How to Measure

Bust

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Hips

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Inseam

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Rings

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
