by NEgirl this would start some rumors...
... at an exteded family holiday party. Because I look at least 4 mos. pregnant in this dress. I juggle between a 2 and 4 in Girls From Savoy dresses, and selected a 2, which fit perfectly. The material is beautiful, and just as the previous reviewer shows in her photo. On the hanger, this dress is stunning. But this cut.... ugh! The pleats are in a reversed method, which guarantees a pooch of fabric to balloon at the waist. Uhm... no thanks.

Anthro you kill me...I come in to buy some tights and walk out with yet another fabulous dress! You can't see it from the pictures, but this dress has a beautiful gold brocade throughout that makes it stunning. I paired it with the earrings pictured (not yet available on the website, but I got them in the store# for an edgier look. Normally I hate wearing anything with metallic thread because I think it cheapens the look, but it's actually what makes this dress extra special. Fit is quite snug on top, even for me #5'2", 101 pounds, 32A-25-32), so size up if you're not flat like me. There is a stretchy panel in the back, but even so it was tight enough to be slightly uncomfortable. It hits me right at my natural waist and is very flattering. The bottom half poofs a bit because of the thick fabric and pleats, and will disguise a belly pooch. The hem comes right to my knees. There is boning along the sides of the bodice as well as directly beneath each breast and sticky grip along the entire top to help keep it up. The boning in front is genius - it makes me look like I have a bust. For curvier ladies, the girls will be covered but not squashed, your waist will look teeny-tiny, and you will have plenty of room for your hips.

I had coveted this dress before it went on sale, and with the extra 30% off this past week, stopped in the store to see if they had my size. It is absolutely beautiful on, and the quality of the fabric is great. My one quibble is the stretchy black fabric in the back where the zipper is. I think it cheapens the overall look somewhat, given the fabric is so gorgeous and rich. Fits TTS. I am usually a size 6 - 8 in anthro dresses and bought an 8 (I am 5'1", 129# and a 36C). I did try on the 6 but it was a little too snug around the bust and waist. I will need to shorten about a hem length as well. It can be dressed up or down, and I tried it on with a black sweater and it would be a great look for work with tights and boots.
