Rated 4 out of 5 by Very cute, runs large. This is a super cute skirt that can be worn year-round (though possibly not warm enough for real winter). It will go with a ton of things, huge variety in styling. However, two things - it runs large (I am a 14/16 and easily can wear the 10 with room to spare), and the waistband rolls like the dickens, even just handling the skirt when not being worn. I almost returned it because of this issue, but it's too cute so I'll probably just have the elastic replaced at some point. Given the waistband and the fact that this is polyester, I'm not entirely sure it's worth it at full price. That said, I bought it at full price and have worn it plenty, so go figure. Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy Wear, Easy Care! This skirt is the same as the Navy Day Midi Skirt which had white and navy stripes. I wore that one all over Paris (see my review for details) so was happy to see this deep red version with the black polka dots! If you are good at washing delicates, this skirt is easy peasy to wash. Like it's cousin, I stuck it in a mesh bag and machine washed it on gentle warm, then stuck it in the dryer for a few minutes to take any wrinkles out. The only difference I noted from the Navy Day skirt is that the two side seams had a slight pucker. I think it would have been fine as is, but I took a warm iron and ran it up each seam on the inside, and voila! good as new without the hassle and expense of dry cleaning. I wore the Navy Day skirt all over Paris by day, hand washed it, rolled it in a towel, and hung it up at night, and it was crisply pleated and ready to go by morning. Sadly I am no longer in Paris, so I haven't tried that with this skirt. I will say to stick with your regular size with these skirts. I did try sizing down, but the pleats didn't hang right. Maybe sizing down is what causes the waist rolling others describe because that hasn't been a problem for me. Interestingly, a top worn over the waist didn't show the elastic puckers, so that's how I wear it. I don't care for the way it looks with a shirt tucked in. Nice midi length, just below the knee on my 6 foot height. Not voluminous either, just has a nice sway when I walk. November 7, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks and feels like a $30 skirt; Cute, Keeper I usually wear an 8 or a 10 and got the 8 in this skirt. I have a small waist, so prefer a smaller size in skirt usually. This one is worth it at the sale price, but it's not super fantastic. As another reviewer mentioned, the fabric is kind of cheap, the elastic in the waistband likes to flop and twist around inside so you have to get it lined up right. I'll probably put a zipper in eventually. Color is nice. I do get a little pouf at the top of the skirt- a little more than I would like- and in the 8 the pleats are a little more stretched out than they probably should be, but it doesn't look too bad. Looks and feels like a $30 skirt. March 21, 2013

Size Guide

How to Measure

Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.

Natural Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

Drop Waist

Measure around your body 1 1/2" below your natural waist.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

Using a pair of your pants that fit well, measure from crotch seam to bottom of leg.

Wrap a length of string around your finger and mark where the end touches. Measure the distance between the end of the string and the mark you've made to determine what size to order.
