by JulesMilo Bailey 44, Y U DO THIS TO ME!
pros: fit, drape
cons: raw edges
Bailey 44, why do you temp me with your effortless, throw on dresses that are an instant classic? I already bought your Under And Over Dress at full price even though in my past review I said it was way too much money to be spending on a jersey dress. But you fit so nicely! My wallet is safe this go round because your color selections aren't tempting me. Perhaps a cranberry or a pine green... don't get any ideas!!! ^_^
For reference, I'm 5'5", 100lbs, 25 in jeans and I tried on an XS.

by AnnVeal Cute dress, blah colors
I tried this dress on in the "red" which is really a muted coral/orange. I tried on my usual small (32D-28-38, 133lbs, 5'6", typically size 4-6), which fit well, hits just above my knee. It features Bailey 44's signature (?) raw hem. It's super comfy but it just didn't wow me; its basically a long-sleeved version of the Under and Over dress of last season. If Bailey 44 came out with other colors (maybe a deep plum or cranberry??), I would be more into it. I also think pit stains would be highly visible with these colors and fabric.

The color of the dress is definitely more of a bright orange than red, which was exactly what I was looking for. I wore it during the Christmas season and got a ton of compliments on it. The jersey material is very comfortable and double-lined to prevent show-through. I'm not a huge fan of the unfinished edges but I can live with it. The ruched basketry detail is gorgeous. My one quibble is that I have a long torso, so the waist hits me about 2 inches above my natural waist, making this dress more of an empire style on me. It's also pretty low-cut, which isn't a problem for me, since I have a small bust, but might mean large amounts of cleavage/spillage for others.
