I usually don't like purchasing furniture unseen but I thought I'd give this a try because the design of it would fit well into my interior style. I know that each design is one of a kind but of course the one they show on the website is about as perfect as it will be. The first one I ordered had a top with two boards and a huge split between the two. I don't mind rustic but this just looked bad so I rejected the delivery. The second one just came a few days ago and was better but still had chunks of boards missing where random pieces were placed to fill the gaps and the legs were not as sturdy as the first but I kept it. I would have preferred one that at least had a top that wasn't too shabby chic. The price point is good and the aesthetics are nice if you get a decent one. If you don't mind being surprised by having a 'one of a kind' piece, then you will like this!

This table is a great value for the price. Nice waxed finish. Great proportions. Ours is now a long, narrow desk for two on a hallway and it looks like it has been there forever..

No two are exactly alike.
The table I received looked very much like this, only the color is a little richer in person and mine has three worn metal plates patching parts of the table. The wood is very smooth but not perfectly flat. It feels like it's been worn down by countless hands and elbows over decades of use.
I'm happy with the proportions. The picture makes the legs look a little flimsy. They aren't. The hinges work well and the table is not hard to fold up and put out of the way. I'm using it as a skinny dining table in my very small apartment. It comfortably seats four. I also move it over to the galley kitchen to use as a kitchen island when cooking and entertaining.
